Azuridge is an amazing hotel with lots to offer! The service was incredible, the food was delicious and the rooms are immaculate! The lounge is a good way to get snacks and drinks! The restaurant is to die for and the staff are really nice. The view is one of the best parts. You aren't too far from Calgary but you seem to be in a completely different world! The most magical place in Alberta! A friend of ours attended a vodka tasting event at Azuridge and we were blown away by the pictures, the estate seemed like it came out of a magazine, not an amazing local place! We had hoped they would accommodate a tiny wedding, and they did not disappoint. Everything from the first email, to the subsequent visits, has been over the top amazing. I had considered waiting to write this until our event was completed, but honestly, you neeed to know about this place. It is so posh and perfect, everyone who works there is on fire to make your experience amazing. Entering the gate into the estate sets the tone for the experience you are about to have. We came to tour the estate, brilliant experience, they have every single tiny detail perfected. Our engagement photos followed by some drinks in the beautiful Opal dining room? The photos are stunning, and we were so touched that a server we had not met yet congratulated us on our upcoming wedding. We are probably not this venue's typical clientele, but we have been treated like royalty since our very first contact. If you are ever so lucky as to have the chance to work with Trevor, jump on that opportunity. He is so amazing at what he does and takes care of all the little details you might not have even considered, which just adds to the magic of this place. Did the Chef Tasting over this past Friday ! It was excellent, and I had no complaints. First a little history. Here's a small piece of an article written in the Calgary Herald in 2013. a luxury destination nestled at the base of the foothills, 20 minutes from Bragg Creek. I've been invited along with several other lovely Calgary writers and bloggers to check out this property set on 13 acres of rambling countryside. After a $5-million refurbishment, this former enclave of Mogens Smed was given a new lease on life as a private estate hotel. Should you be in the market for 27000 square feet of the great indoors, rent the entire compound and have your run of the place, or simply book one of 13 guest rooms, each named and themed after a gemstone. It is truly a beautiful place to visit, and while there I'd recommend climbing up the tower to take in the amazing views. I have never stayed at the hotel, but would love to someday ! I'll definitely be back in the future. Maybe for brunch next ! read more

Talk about a literal hidden gem! My husband (who's amazing), surprised me with a day/night here for our anniversary. I had heard that there's a nice hotel in Priddis but I had no idea it was like this! Only 13 rooms and we checked in on a Monday so we literally had the place to ourselves. So nice and quiet. Upon check in our "butler" Mike got us a prosseco and checked us in. All the rooms are named after different gems, we were in the aqua marine room so it had accents of teal. When I say butler I mean butler. They actually have a butler school here and it's taken quite seriously. Very interesting. We had a welcome letter and a small gift of an aqua marine stone. Our room was gorgeous. Big living room with couch and tv, 2 balconies, amazing comfy king sized bed, double sinks, 2 toilets, MASSIVE tub and huge shower. We were told that Steven Spielberg stayed in our room once. My husband got roses and wine in the room when we arrived and we walked over to the restaurant for lunch. It was a hot day so we sat outside, shared a salad and a chicken sandwich. Then we went to our room and sat on our balcony and shared a bottle of rose. Talk about relaxing! We then had dinner which is a 5 course meal...all excellent. See my pics. After dinner, turn down service had come to our room and we had a night cap (disarono for me, grand marnier for him), dessert delivered to our room, and called it a night. In the morning we had breakfast and then our "butler" took us on a tour. Azuridge was actually someones home at one point! They have a cool water tower we climbed up, axe throwing in the back, a decent gym....if they had a pool - this place would be absolutely complete! Was it expensive....ummmm ya! but it was a nice day/night to recharge our batteries and celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We lucked out having this place all to ourselves...I asked the staff if the weekend is busy...they said yes, especially with weddings and people come out for dinner. read more

Had the pleasure of visiting this fine boutique hotel as a guest of Flynn Canada for their Christmas gathering. .From the greeting at the entrance to the large dining room where the lovely plated meal was served, there was little missing. The champagne with Blue Curacao "caviar" was like nothing I had ever tasted before! Simply Heavenly with a Hell of kick - managed to put away about three (felt a little tipsy shall we say). As our group was sat for supper, one very hard-working server tried to keep up with drink demands. She did well and she did finally get some help to keep up with the thirsty crew! The set menu with meal requests submitted prior to the event came out quickly. There were choices of beef, chicken, salmon and a vegetarian dish. All looked great! I enjoyed the beef while my beautifully attired other half had salmon. I am not going to spend anymore time dissecting the meal as serving like this presents a real challenge to ensure the ultimate freshness that would be served to a regular dining guest. I will be back to try that experience! Dessert (sorbet) was served in formed ice dish. A shot of Patron was also enjoyed from said ice dish. This establishment was much busier than I thought it would be as I did not realize the restaurant/bar operates on regular hours. Check ahead and get reservation. One star is for the food only. Recently attended to the wedding , We had a very bad experience. The wedding day was raining, the host asked to wait a little more time to change to indoor ceremony but the hotel contact person kept saying No, whatever they asked she just answered No no no.. I think at least she should have a smile on her face!!! After the ceremony we had Champagne and we went to take a picture for only 5 mins, when we came back all our Champagne disappeared and the wedding cake was cut; we even didn't cheer yet!! After one week of the wedding the hotel charged another $1000 something for the drinks, moved to indoor ceremony and the hotel room extra cleaning, because the bride changed and blew her hairs in the hotel room, they said the hotel room for take a rest only, so they needed to do extra cleaning. The bride and Groom paid a hotel room and allowed to stay from 12pm to 12 am. If the hotel room can just take a rest only , I think the hotel still need to clean it!!! Why charged extra cleaning??!! Unbelievable!!! It is ridiculous!! I won't recommend it at all!! read more

Azuridge is a gorgeous boutique hotel located close to the Priddis golf course with 13 rooms and outstanding customer service. Upon our arrival, we were treated to cocktails while we checked in and our "butler", Jimmy-Lee, retrieved our luggage from our car. Jimmy-Lee is fantastic and ensured that our stay was as comfortable as possible There is a mineral/crystal theme to the hotel and all of the rooms were named accordingly. The mini-fridge in our room was stocked and everything in the fridge was complimentary. There is also a communal tea/espresso station in the hotel, workout area, hot tub (which was out of order during our stay), restaurant, and a beautiful fireplace where you can enjoy smores. Yum. We had dinner and breakfast the next morning at the restaurant and both were amazing (especially the dinner!). My dinner started with a trio of shellfish, then mushroom soup, and finished with one of the best filet mignons I've ever had in my life. The meal was excellent and very memorable. The executive chef at the restaurant was formerly at the Eden Restaurant in Banff (which I also love!). Azuridge is spectacular and I hope to return again very soon. read more

I am a little reluctant to write this review, as my experience at Azuridge was so amazing that I almost want to keep it a secret! Azuridge is definitely a hidden gem, and I am surprised that it is not talked about more. The service we received at Azuridge was incredible. Trevor, the events specialist, took care of every single detail for our bachelorette weekend, from the champagne to the welcome sign to the set up of the theater room with blankets and throw pillows and a table with an assortment of board games. He even came in on his day off to be able to greet us and make sure we had everything we needed. The butlers at Azuridge all seem to be able to anticipate your needs even before you realize them yourself and we were treated like royalty the entire time. We were supposed to watch a movie on Netflix that evening, but due to the weather, Netflix was not working. As soon as Jimmy realized this, he offered to run home and grab a copy of the movie we were going to watch from his personal DVD collection and lent it to us for the evening! We also had the misfortune of getting a flat tire on our way there. Nicholas, our butler, was kind enough to get our tire filled. That evening, Jeremy, the overnight butler, was also kind enough to wait outside in the snow in the middle of the night while AMA changed our tire. With there only being 13 rooms in the estate, it almost felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. The prices may seem expensive, but when you compare what you are getting to a place like the Fairmont, you are far better off staying at the Azuridge! It is an experience like no other. read more

We've been to the restaurant at Azuridge twice now and the first time was amazing with the delicious food, fantastic view, and stellar service. Unfortunately, our second time dining at the restaurant left a lot to be desired. Like I said, my wife and I had such a good experience our first time dining there that we invited her parents for brunch a few months later. Well, I have to say our second experience was, honestly, dismal. For one, they forgot the lox in my bagel and lox meal. When the waitress realized what happened, she went back to the kitchen to get my lox a several minutes later. Secondly, the bagel was hard as rock. I had better bagels at Tim Horton's and my bagel at Azuridge was not worthy of a $24 dish. Thirdly, my wife had ordered a side of toast for our side and the staff forgot about it. We gently reminded our waitress when we received all our dishes (except for the toast) and realized that it wasn't coming. When it finally came, it was burnt. My wife, who is probably the most accommodating person in the world, had to send it back as it was black on one side. This is the first time I've seen her send anything back to the kitchen in the seven years we've been together. I cannot recommend this restaurant until they pick up their game. read more

We enjoyed the delicious Sunday brunch for Father's Day at Azuridge. The estate is stunning, staff is very friendly & attentive, and the food was divine! Extremely disappointing communication experience. When on a tour inquiring about weddings the information that was given and shared was very calculated. Pertinent information was not shared. We specified we were interested in a summer (peak) weekend wedding and not once did the estate explain that you are required to buy out the estate. We were even shown different smaller room options in which they would create into intimate wedding dinner experiences. Left us believing we would be able to do a small wedding in the summer (peak) season on a weekend. I followed up with Michelle through email and then received a call from her in which she then communicated the estate buy out requirement as in a condensing manner as if I should have just known. When I tried to explain my disappointment and frustration with the communication she continued to interject and not allow me to finish my sentence. I felt as thought Michelle was not interested in talking to me because I was not able or willing to do an estate buy out. Not only did I hang up feeling defeated, I also felt manipulated and duped. The buy out requirement is pertinent and Azuridge had ample opportunity prior to Michelle's call to say so. For someone that is supposed to be helping couples plan their special day, I could not worse from this experience with Michelle. read more

Would not recommend this as a wedding venue dinner service took from 6:30pm to 9:20 PM close to 4 hours of service on the contract read 1.5 hours The microphone went off twice when the father of the bride was speaking and again when the bride and groom were speaking. The expensive midnight snack was not partaking in as dinner service did not complete until 10:20 PM. Wine was served at the 4 hours at the bride and grooms expense . Extremely disappointed. My brunch reservation was double booked with a wedding on the same day. I had family in from out of town just for the weekend and we drove all the way from Calgary just to find out our reservation that I had made a week prior did not exist. I was unable to speak to a manager and none of the staff seemed concerned or could help with the issue. I visited Azuridge for the first time for an one night birthday getaway and it was amazing! It's such a quick trip from Calgary in a beautiful natural setting. it was a nice change from a usual Banff getaway and much more quiet and removed. It's a small boutique resort which makes you feel truly special. The butlers will attend to your every need and the rooms are so cozy and luxurious. Our five-course dinner was outstanding, plus the kitchen is open in the gorgeous dining room so you get to watch the chefs at work. I only wish we could've stayed longer! read more
