Never been in before, but the fellas working behind the counter were super friendly and helpful to show me their menu. It was about $11.79 for a smoothie. Ok the pricier side. And I'll admit, I was sad when it was bland tasting compared to the sweetness of the chain smoothie joints. The responsible side of me realizes it is because they do not add an excessive amount of extra sugars and juices, so it was definitely heartier and more filling. It is what I would feed my 3 year old daughter as a treat because we don't need the extra sugars. Will I crave this place? No. Would I come back? Good customer service with a smile. The bowl was tasty and the fruit was fresh. Tasted like quality. Place is super cute inside. Now: No cashier. Young girl walks up from the back. Says when your ready use the touch screen (some computer in the front covered in fingerprints) and then goes back to the rear of the store. Options are standard and nothing special. Base had a weird aftertaste and fruit was definitely not fresh. The strawberries were bitter and the blueberries were soft. Banana was good. Place is still cute inside. Your average Acai bowl place. BUT The base was delicious and the toppings were plentiful; I enjoyable my customizable Acai bowl. However, they don't offer any unique flavors or toppings in comparison to other Acai places. Their bowls are a little on the pricier side for quantity (you get A LOT more bang for your buck at Banzai Bowls) but still enjoyable. The inside seating is nice and comfortable & there are accessible bathrooms. Service was quick and friendly. The menu is easy to navigate and they have tablets you can order off of. A great place overall BUT I think if I'm looking to get another Acai bowl, I'll be going to Banzai Bowls or Earth Bowls instead. read more

I went in expecting to be able to fully customize my bowl chipotle style but the bowls already have different combinations you can choose from. I ordered the Cali bowl but I honestly didn't finish it because I didn't like the way it tasted. My açaí bowl tasted almost bitter even with honey and agave in it. They also did not fill up the bowl to the top too. For over 10 dollars a bowl I kind of expected for bowl to be pretty filled to the brim. Restroom is available inside with a passcode if you ask. This is a pretty good açaí bowl spot! I'm glad we have an alternative to Nekter up the street. Two small bowls cost $18, which felt... expensive, but I think that's the standard açaí bowl price these days. The Cali Bowl was good, though I originally ordered the São Paulo and the woman working went to make our bowls and everything then had to come back out and explain that their system was "being weird" and they could currently only make three of the bowls on their menu, which was confusing but I just chose from those three at that point. I'm sure the kinks will be worked out as this place gets established, but I hope to try the São Paulo next time. We'll be coming back for more, since the bowls themselves were very good--I really enjoyed the açaí blend in the Cali bowl and my mom liked the mango one a lot, too. It was her first time having an açaí bowl at all. I also loved how they put granola on the bottom of the bowl too, so everything meshes together well as you eat. They have additional toppings you can add to any bowl you order, and apparently you get three additional toppings for free on Tuesdays. They also encourage people to download their app and order through it for easier checkout and a 10% discount, which we'll be trying next time! read more

No longer will l have to drive all the way to Brea for Vitality bowls or just make due with what they have a Nekter...now I have something amazing in my own backyard. We came by on a sunny morning and walked into a gorgeous and clean store. It's super cute inside. From the wood paneling on the walls to the little surfboard shaped table, you get a warm and fuzzy feeling. But then comes the acai bowls! We had a Tahiti bowl which is acai, blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, guarana, with granola, then banana, strawberries and blueberries on top. The baby LOVED it. Pro-tip...they ask you if you'd like this topped with honey or agave. If you decide to get a sweetner and I don't really think you need it, make sure they pick up the right one when you're at the counter. They do it in front of you so you have time to make to sure. For us, I'd asked for honey and the very nice lady poured agave on it...when I looked a the bottle she and I both saw she had picked up the agave. She offered to pour honey on top of that but I figured agave + honey was more sugar then we needed. Next time I'll just say no sweetner topping. We also ordered a piece of banana bread and it was a healthy, delicious treat that the baby ate on the way home. We would get that again. We will definitely be back! read more
