Cashier/barista was really nice and helpful- she helped me order their Signature Creme Brulee without no lactose and caffeine. But that's where it went wrong... the almond milk they used (that I even paid an extra 75 cents for) was definitely spoiled. My wife and I shared the drink and agreed that the drink tasted off... It was bland and wasn't sweet enough. Also, the consistency was grainy and kinda chunky? Since this was our first time here, we thought that this was just how they made it so although it was weird, we didn't wanna waste an expensive drink, almost costing $10 (since I also added boba). A few hours later, my wife and I are both feeling nauseous and having the runs... we didn't eat dinner after a late lunch, so this was the only thing we drank. Obviously, we are not going back. If you like this place, I guess just avoid the almond milk, at the very least.

The ube and coffee blended really well together. My boyfriend tried the seasonal Almond Joy Latte, made with house-made coconut simple syrup, chocolate syrup, almond milk, and espresso. The almond milk flavor was pretty prominent, so I'd recommend it if you enjoy that flavor profile. He really enjoyed it! FOOD: We sampled both the Ube Mochi and Butter Mochi. The Ube Mochi reminded me of Filipino ube halaya, although you had to look for the ube flavor a little. The Butter Mochi was sweeter and more flavorful, so we ended up ordering a full-size one. It tasted even better warmed up! Overall, we had such a lovely experience. The service was warm and friendly, the space was welcoming, and both the drinks and food were delicious. I'm already planning to bring another friend with me next time!

The bubble waffle was also made perfectly and paired really well with the soft serve. The Thai milk tea was just as good. It had a nice tea flavor and wasn't overly sweet, which I really appreciated. The boba had the perfect chewy texture with a noticeable brown sugar flavor that made it even better. Customer service was on point from start to finish, and the store itself had a clean, welcoming vibe that made it a nice place to enjoy dessert. Additionally, the service is lacking. My husband ordered a drink that he did not end up liking. He returned to the counter and asked if he could order something else, and they charged full price. In principle, this is understandable, but in practice, the customer service felt very lacking. Typically nicer coffee shops that we have gone to have been more than happy to replace a drink if it was not what we expected. I understand their policy, but do think that they lost a chance to provide exceptional customer service, and thus lost us as customers. We won't be returning here, unfortunately.

They roast everything in store, it's all fresh, never have I encountered a bitter or burnt taste with any of their selections. Each one has its own unique taste. The nice thing is each day they'll feature a blend that you can buy by the cup and find your favorite. I have my favorites, but I'm not disappointed with any blend they feature for the day. Once you find your favorites, you can buy a bag and take home. Again, it's all roasted right in the shop. You gotta go try it out for yourself. I love the entire staff, they're all so very friendly! I love the family atmosphere. I like to try a lot of small coffee shops and this is hands down the best coffee. So help support the small coffee shops, don't give your $$ to the big corporations.
