I've been coming to this location for years, and it is always on point. The staff hustles to get your order out quickly, and everything tastes fresh and incredible! I'm so addicted to the protein and immunity bowls as well as the breakfast juice and pineapple matcha. I buy the Nekter 2 day cleanse a few times per year and always lose at least 3 pounds! I want to live a healthy lifestyle. Spending $4.75 for a 16 oz. acai smoothie is probably not an essential part of that lifestyle, but it can't hurt. And Nekter is a good place for all things healthy...mostly. Usually I stay away from "acai" in the name because it's too expensive, and I want to avoid the neo-now-hip-acai health fad until it's been around a while. To my knowledge, 3 different ordinary beans are in the top 5 list of foods high in antioxidant. Hey at Northgate Market or 99Ranch, $4.75 will buy a weeks' worth of antioxidant rich beans. Not sexy or hip, just good and belly filling. Nekter's "Popeye Acai" makes up in authenticity what it lacks in affordability. It's made with banana, spinach, nut milk, and agave nectar blended with ice. Menu says it's pumped with iron and sweet, "a drink even Olive Oil would love." But I thought it was not sweet at all, and instead tasted like the listed ingredients. Not fake or pretentious. For me, -1 star because the ice (cheap) watered down the smoothie and removed any flavor notes of the agave nectar (good sweet) and nut milk (rich, smooth, but what nut?). Otherwise Nekter Juice Bar is worth a try, if beans at 99Ranch are not motivation for your acai fix. read more

For the past few weeks, it's a bunch of incompetent teenagers running the place. No greeting when you walk in the door. It helps me feel refreshed and the juice is very filling. It's basically a green drink with parsley, apple, lemon, ginger and spinach! Delicious! I haven't tried anything else on the menu. Now for the other stuff. Nekter Anaheim Hills is located next to tutoring center and a beauty salon in a strip mall. Parking can be tight because this shopping center is very busy. However, I did find a parking space within minutes of arriving. The juice bar is relatively small with limited seating so you may just want to get your juice and go. I've been coming to this Nekter since high school, which by my standards, are basically forever. Back when there was no Nekter app and I worked hard to get my free or at least discounted acai bowl. I mean, they introduced me to the world of acai bowls. I honestly remember my first time here. It was sometime in December, no one was in line, and that was my first and only time I ordered a Banana Berry Bowl as suggested by the nice man working there. Fast forward to the present day and I find myself always coming here to satisfy the inner SoCal girl in me. I noticed that the prices have increased over the years but that's not something that this store has any control of does it? I love the tropical bowl but UNFORTUNATELY corporate decided to change that to the mango bowl instead. However, I love this particular Nekter because they will still make it for you! Yeah! They're that original! The tropical bowl is so refreshing and not overly sweet. You can taste the pineapple and the granola on top is really why I keep coming back. Just kidding, it's just the only place that serves this flavor profile. The staff is great and also occasionally the playlist is great too. It does get super busy during peak hours and of course, your money is as good as everyone else in this rich neighborhood so you're just going to have to wait. It's pretty nice though as they make everything to order so none of their products tastes icy and old. I recommend this particular Nekter for anyone still not sure if they want to be introduced to the world of toxin flushes and acai bowls. It's a great gateway to new places and it doesn't hurt that everything here is pretty much vegan. read more
