Review # 103/365 Day Challenge Finally visiting here for the Grand opening celebration 10.25.25 It's a Build your own Acai bowl concept. They have a lot of different bases including mango, matcha, pitaya to name a few and it's unlimited toppings. Love this concept. I got a medium bowl w Açaí & pitaya base. Half & half. The fruits were really Freshly cut and was all sweet, My husband and i said it's one of the best bowls we've had honestly. Owner Hya & Noel is awesome. Great customer service and so nice. Made us feel really welcomed. Shop is really clean and up to date w decor and wall art. Have a complimentary water fuel station. Replaced the Creamistry Ice Cream shop. Next to Pho Ha & Panini Grill Kabob. Same plaza as DSW Shoe Warehouse & Lucille's Bbq. Lots of parking available. Prices for the Bowl, small $ 11 medium $ 13 large $ 17 Pretty comparable pricings w acai bowl spots in the area. They currently running a BOGO free Promo during the Grand Opening weekend.

First time visiting ubatuba açaí was greeted warmly when I walked through the door and was taught how to build my own bowl, I went with the medium size and was also offered samples of the smoothie base for the bowl, everything is unlimited as long as it reasonably fits in the bowl I went with açaí, mango and coconut, they have a ton of health conscious toppings like bee pollen and cacao nibs, a great place to stop by for post gym recovery. Yummy place will be back. Service was great.

Came here after their grand opening because I thought I could get free stuff - turns out it was one day only but we did still score a bogo deal. I got a large bowl with Acai, mango, coconut, and a splash of passion fruit juice. The passion fruit juice really tied the bowl together by adding a nice tang. I topped it with hemp granola, all the tropical fruits and some seeds. The base was pretty good but it kinda tasted like sherbet. I think I would've appreciated a more natural mango or coconut flavor but the sweetness made it feel less healthy. I had peanut and almond butter on mine - the girl who helped me SQUEEZED it on very generously. As nice as that was, it was a bit too much nut butter for me. My husband enjoyed the excess though! My only complaint is the papaya - I know that it can be bitter but I definitely had some pieces that were more bitter than expected. I felt like maybe I was eating a rind? It threw off the flavors of the bowl and made me nervous about scooping another papaya down below. Otherwise, everything was delicious. We'd probably come back but definitely not if I'm seeking something "fresh" and "healthy".

I enjoyed Ubatuba Açaí a lot! I ordered two large açaí bowls. There was a large variety of toppings and bases to choose from. The service was good and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The ambiance was nice. There were lots of photographs around the facility and plenty of seating areas. I highly recommend Ubatuba Açaí if you are looking for authentic and delicious açaí!

Tried this place for their grand opening and they had a BOGO deal! I got the large bowl with mango, coconut, and matcha bases. For toppings they had a variety as well and I got chia pudding, bananas, mangoes, blueberries, strawberries. For extra flavor and texture, I got cacao nibs, granola, almond and peanut butter. BYO bowls are always great since you can make it how you like it and the staff is super helpful with recs if you're feeling indecisive!

Stopped in to check out the new Ubatuba Açaí opening. Fun colorful interior in vibrant colors. Good base options including açaí, coconut, and mango with multiple, fresh toppings to choose from.

Loved uba tuba. Their new location is tiny but has everything. I just give it 4 stars cause 1 large acsi is expensive..but I mean it tastes delicious. If I didn't look at price its 5 stars but dang . The inflation makes me feel like its a luxury to eat acai bowls now But very good with fresh fruits & yummy empanadas!@ staff is extremely bubbly & kind. The interior feels cozy too. Ambiance is chill & calming .

Just opened!

Fast, great fresh bowls and empanadas. Staff is friendly and helpful and quick. All of the fruit looked freshly cut and appreciated the honesty when I asked if the cut mango was sweet. I wanted empanadas, which take another 10 minutes or so to cook, so they put my bowls in the fridge for me. Atmosphere is clean and bright with a good number of tables that seat 2-4.

Came here for dessert one day and loved the atmosphere and the agave coconut base is delicious. Love all the topping options they have as well.

I stumbled on Uba Tuba and instantly realized this place isn't just another acai shop. It's the real deal. The bowls here taste alive with fresh fruit, perfect texture, and just the right blend of sweet and clean. You can actually taste the quality in every spoonful.

My daughter and I stopped in to see what this place was like a few nights ago. We frequent the shopping plaza quite often and had been waiting for this place to open. We walked inside around 8pm and were greeted right away by three amazing people behind the counter. The place was clean and inviting. They offered us samples of the different bases and informed us about the various toppings we could get. My daughter liked the Açaí base and I went with the Pitaya (not real sweet). We had fresh fruit added to our bowls (blueberries, strawberries and bananas). The service and bowls were great and we'll definitely be back. I've never been a big fan of Açaí bowls because I found them to be too sweet but with the Pitaya I was pleasantly surprised; it left me wanting more. Check out this new spot, you won't be disappointed.

When I take that first bite it's like a beautiful medley of flavors, heat, and textures all dancing together. I get the original recipe which is beef. They have a few currants only the beef that gives you a mild sweet surprise. They are my absolute favorite flavor. My sons love the steak and peppers, and the chicken. I haven't tried the shrimp or vegan one yet. They have around 10 different types. The service is wonderful. It's a family that sells them at Farmers Markets. They are at different Farmers markets each day. They go to the same ones each week. Also, make sure to get their home made green hot sauce. Ask for extra. They give tiny cups that aren't full and you are going to want it for every bite you take. Guaranteed to wake up your senses. Enjoy!!

The clerk working the store was very friendly and offered me a sample as soon as I walked up. My concern was whether it would be crunchy-hard, since I've had empanadas in the past that were hard. I'm not a fan of hard foods (looking at you banh mi) - but the clerk noted they were all soft and the sample proved that. I ordered a Mushroom ($4), Chicken ($4) and Beef Steak ($5) - each empanada was perfectly portioned, slightly crunchy/golden brown on the outside, but soft and doughy on the inside, with generous fillings. These taste similar to the chalupas you can get at Taco Bell (just better quality). The mushroom was probably my favorite one - with chunks of mushroom in a nice, cheesy blend. Each bite was perfect - and the melted cheese texture also complimented the meatless option. The quality of the chicken filling wasn't the best - it reminded me of a Hot Pocket - was forgettable as the bits were dry and flavorless. The beef steak option was great - full of chunks of beef steak, onions, tomatoes and some sort of salsa sauce inside. It made each bite full of flavor and delicious. The clerk gave me two containers of the green sauce - which is the perfect compliment to the empanadas - not too spicy, mild but with just enough of a kick to it. Be sure to ask for these instead of jalapenos. The food stand took cash and had a sign that indicated they accept credit cards as well. Prices are reasonable for the quality, portion size and fillings of the food.

I have…read moretried chimichurri sauces from Whole Foods and Trader Joe's but they aren't really very authentic. A friend recommended seeing what El Gaucho might have, so I visited the next day. The market is easy to spot with a big street sign out front. There are only two parking spots in front, one is a handicapped space. There's plenty of parking around the back though. When you walk in, you will see the main market with lots of items and brands I've never seen before. Slightly to the right is their deli counter with lots of meats, cheeses, and other miscellaneous items. To the right of the entrance is a dining area, and another counter where you can order sandwiches, empanadas, pizza, French fries, and drinks. I was laser focused on getting the chimichurri and leaving since I was short on time. It is in plastic bottles in plain view on on top of the deli counter. I purchased the regular variety, but they also have a spicy version. I could already tell this was going to be way better than the other two sauces I tried. I've had it on a steak, and on my breakfast scrambled eggs, and it's in a whole different league from the grocery versions I tried. It looks just like a restaurant chimichurri, oil based with lots of herbs and spices. I just had a nice filet mignon with chimichurri at a good Argentinan restaurant last week, and this chimichurri is about 90% as good. I moved it from the plastic bottle it comes in to a glass jar which will hopefully help preserve it longer, and store it in the refrigerator. I now have no reason to look elsewhere for chimichurri. My friend visits here periodically and says the sandwiches are excellent. I'll have to return again to try one, get more chimichurri, and explore the market and deli to see what other goodies they have.

Never had a Milanese sandwich, so no idea what to expect. To me the sandwich lacked a little flavor so used the sauce from the empanada on it. The crisp on the beef was spot on and the lettuce was really fresh. Very unassuming place but the staff were so nice. Not sure i would go out of my way to eat here but if I crave empanadas I would get the beef again.

Also, I bought a spinach and cheese empanada and a chicken empanada ($5.25/each). You have many options when creating a bowl online. I got mine with pitaya as a base with hemp granola, strawberries, blueberries, kiwis, goji berries, diced almonds, pistachio butter, agave, and even bee pollen as toppings. The pitaya bowl was really refreshing and nicely sweet. I appreciated that it wasn't too tart. Combining the kiwis with the pitaya was a great choice. I enjoyed how the kiwis were diced; you'd have enough to chew. The goji berries stuck on my teeth, so I don't plan on getting those next time. It was my first time trying hemp granola, and the earthy flavor didn't quite suit my taste buds. I'd rather choose another type of granola. My most adventurous choice was adding on bee pollen, but I couldn't discern its taste due to lacking a frame of reference. The two other empanadas were adequate. While I didn't eat the chicken empanada, I received feedback that it tasted a little bland. However, I did like the spinach and cheese empanada, though it was a little salty. Overall, I'd come back to try another bowl. The location is convenient with covered parking. It was empty inside, but I still had a warm greeting from the person who prepared my food.
