My friends and I got 2 small and 1 medium poke bowls delivered for dinner (around 8:30PM) and surprisingly, the vegetables in our takeout still tasted very fresh. It was our first time ordering poke at this place and for $14-16, I think the ratio of the meat : vegetables : rice were decently given. I feel like the difference between small and medium aren't that visible though, but to each their own. In addition to that, I also got California rolls that I think were decently proportionate. This place is awesome! Been going here since high school. The employees are always so incredibly friendly. Very fairly priced (on the cheap side) and everything is always pretty fresh. Portions have always been good and stayed consistent. Today I ordered pickup but didn't want to go inside because my baby was sleeping in the car. Finally found my local poke spot! Still a bit of a drive considering I live in Anaheim Hills but would make the drive for some fresh poke at Pokeology. Gave this spot a try on Saturday night right prior to them closing and the process of going down the assembly line was quick and easy, the fish was fresh and of good quantity, there was a plethora of toppings offered, and the prices were reasonable. I opted for the 3 scoop protein bowl (~$11.50) with half salad and half white rice as the base. For protein I got salmon, spicy tuna, and yellowtail. The ponzu sauce was the perfect amount of flavor and not too heavy. With all the toppings, protein, and sauce, everything jived really well. After a long night of working out, my friends and I decided to get some poke for dinner from this place since it was nearby. It was empty when we arrived and I was served by a rude lady who kept rushing me to say my order. I needed more time to decide on what I want but every time it was onto the next food item to pick she kept telling me to look at the board. I ordered two small bowls and she told me to pick three proteins. It was my first time here and I was too tired to realize that I was only supposed to pick two. She proceeded to ask me which one I didn't want and bare hand picked the protein out and put it back. That was just disgusting and so unsanitary without a glove. Then when I asked how much sauce I can get, she just told me to look at the board again and I picked one but she moved onto my next bowl and gave me only one sauce option again. My friends were served by someone else and they were able to get more than one sauce and some friendlier service. Needless to say I will not be coming back again due to the terrible cleanliness and manners of that lady. read more

This place TRULY does not do justice to the quality of the food. The actual locale looks like a 4 out of 5 stars kind of place. But the food is 5 out of 5 all across the board! (Except the boba, the milk tea itself was delicious, though). I ordered a large 5 scoop poke bowl and not only was the flavor just as good as some of the giants, such as Uroko Cafe or Poke Tiki, but they also have as a topping, for NO ADDITIONAL COST: GUAC!!. I got a large bowl that comes with 5 scoops of protein. However, I do think they cheap you out a little bit. I usually get a small (3 scoop) at other places costing $10-11, and I would always finish about 80 and be full. I ordered a large for $14.49 so I don't have to make dinner later. Here's the actual review of the 5 protein I got: - Eel (2/5) This is kind of cold and sweet and the skin was left on it unlike eel dons (bowls). I didn't think it'd be good if i left it to eat with other stuff so I finished it first. I probably won't get this unless you like cold, teriyaki sweet eel with skin. - Spicy Shrimp (5/5) It's not too spicy, it's enough to leave like that spiciness in your mouth so i recommend this. I dont know too much about freshness, so I assume these are the frozen bags you can get in store -Scallop (3/5) Doesn't have too much flavor, nothing outstanding or bad about it -Octopus Salad (4/5) The marinade is pretty good, and it's chewy and not old. -Salmon (4/5) Typical poke salad, i'm not too sure about freshness. Overall, prob will get a small next time since that the other reviews weighed the bowls and both weighs equally. read more

Great poke shop on the go! Located next to Dog Haus this joint serves up quick, healthy, generous portions of their poke that will fill you up! These past years the poke fad is up the wazoo and there appears to be a particular 'standard' and what I like about this place is how much they give you.
