The BEST ceviche I've ever had and I've had some amazing ceviche. I wanted to drink the sAlda/sauce... so flavorful. beautiful bouquet of flavors. can't explain it better than that. They always ask for your preferred spice level so you get it just how you like. Tallarines verdes are bomb!! Jalea is also always on point. Portions are good for the price you pay. Went for dinner, their sangrias are huge and strong enough to feel it after, very good !!!..we ordered ceviche mixto for 2 size, however far to be a seafood mix mostly it was fish ( no corvina or mero but tilapia) shrimp and maybe only 4 rings of calamari it looks huge but the fuller apparence is becouse you will find tons of red union under, boomer !!! What a hidden gem of a spot - excellent choice if you're in the area and in the mood for Peruvian. We got the classico B52's (their house special which is a combo of ceviche and fried seafood) along with arroz con mariscos - both were really good, well worth the wait. My bf once ordered takeout from B-52s and it was delicious. We ordered ceviche de pescado and tallarines verdes. Both dishes were perfection. I recently went to B-52s because they offered outdoor seating and had a great dining experience! The music was lively and the service was on point. Everyone was down to earth especially our waiter Piero, who was very friendly and inviting. I felt like I was at my family's place. The ceviche de pescado is one of the best Peruvian ceviches I have had in my life! It was extremely fresh and authentic. We also ordered tostones to share, which is a definite must when eating ceviches. I will definitely return to try different Peruvian cuisine! read more

So, my bf and I were looking for a place that serves Ceviche and has a bar atmosphere and we Yelped and found B 52's! I looked at the pictures of the delicious food and atmosphere that other Yelper's had posted and I was sold! We went on a Sunday evening and walked in and found that it was a very lively atmosphere. We were greated immediately by a lovely server and she gave us a bowl of corn with some sauce, looked at the menu and found several types and sizes of ceviche. We were pretty hungry so we went with the medium sized ceviche de pescado. When it came we were very surprised at the generous portion. it not only looked beautiful "a feast for the eyes" but it was also a feast for us! We ate until we were pleasantly "llena" :) We even had leftovers for later which was awesome!! I really liked the dj they had and the ceviche and service was muy buena!! People may look the outside of the place and may get discouraged do to how the place looks and it claims to be a bar. Don't let that fool you, the place inside is clean and well put together. As other reviews have mentioned, the music in this place is very loud. But I believe it's because it's more of a bar than a restaurant and the patrons who frequent there go there for the loud atmosphere. I had the fish ceviche which was very good but extremely spicy. The medium ceviche is enough for three people. I will be back to try some of their other Peruvian dishes. read more

Me and my boyfriend ordered here because we are ceviche lovers. We usually go to Mission Ceviche in NY cause it's the best ceviche in the area but this is definitely giving it some competition! The sizes for their ceviches that they offer is small, medium or family size. Judging from the pictures, we thought the bigger platters were family size so we chose medium mixto ceviches for each of us. Boy were we wrong! Mediums are practically the size of those aluminum pans that you find at cookouts and events. They had shrimp, prongs, calamari, etc. basically any kind of seafood that you could think of. I was flabbergasted when I went to pick it up. The only reason why I took a star off is because the people I dealt with didn't seem to speak good English. It took me about 10 minutes to give her my full order and about 5 minutes for her to understand that I was asking how big was a small compared to a medium when I went to pick it up.
