Came here on NYE for dinner and it did not disappoint! We made a reservation in advance which was a good call as the place filled up fast. I started off with a pineapple margarita, and then got a dirty gin martini, both of which were excellent. We came in a group and made a point to all get different entrees so we could try a variety of things! Great vegetarian friendly options as well. Everything was flavorful!

Wonderful food and mocktails. What a surprise on a last minute find. Not fast but enjoyed every bite and sip. And they do mocktails right. I'm from LA so I'm sad I won't be able to try anything else here again but next time I'm visiting I'm making a trip to Qtal! Special note there's a small parking lot on the corner if you can't find street parking.

Came here on a Saturday night and had reservations for the outside patio area. It was nice and quiet. No one else was there besides us. We also parked in the lot over the bridge, which was very convenient. The place itself is very cute. I got myself a pineapple margarita to start, which was very tasty. We got the chopped filet mignon tips for an appetizer which was full of flavor. I got the braised short rib for dinner and my husband got the salmon. We both thoroughly enjoyed it. I ended the night with a pistachio martini, which was also perfectly made.

Came here for a baby shower this past weekend and was blown away by the food. Sooo good!! The decor was modern, the food was flavorful and well seasoned! My favorite was the Burrata and the bread spread. Mimosas and Prosecco with cotton candy were so good! The staff were super friendly and helpful and I loved that the private event had its own bathroom. Only Criticism was the lack of parking, but thankfully it was Sunday so u parked at the bank.

Chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream, not too sweet at all, also very light. Really liked it.

Delicious food, beautiful decor, very friendly staff, very attentive manager, really enjoyed everything.

This restaurant is a great experience. Our waiter was so attentive even with a large group. The food and drink are also equally as spectacular as the service. For appetizers, we had the salad, dumplings, and a creamy shrimp dish. All of these were spectacular and a 10/10. The dishes all had such fresh ingredients and the sauce on the dumplings was so thick and tasty. For entree, I had the braised short rib with bacon risotto this was just as good as the appetizers. The short rib melted in my mouth and the sauce was spectacular. In addition, the risotto tasted great and paired amazing with the short rib. For dessert, I tried the coconut and the cheesecake. Both of these were delicious and the fruit was super fresh. Lastly, I had the pink lemonade drink which had great presentation and tasted amazing! Overall this was such a great experience and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in Jersey.

Came here on a rainy Saturday night. I had reservations for 8:45pm. Be aware that parking is very hard to find here, but we managed to find parking across from the restaurant. We were greeted and immediately seated. We first sat at a 2 top table, but then was switched to a 4 top for more comfortability. I appreciated that. Our server was very nice and friendly, so was the owner or manager. They made sure hospitality was on point. I ordered a mocktail, the lady bird, and my partner ordered a mango tango. We were also served a variety of bread with different toppings which was a nice touch. I ordered the salmon and my partner ordered the steak and a dragon roll. The roll came out about 5 mim after ordering, and the food came about 15 mim after that. Everything looked good and tasted good. We also ordered the dolce de leche creme brûlée. It was amazing. We were then offered free passion fruit shots, which was very yummy and appreciated. I give the food a 4/5 and the service a 5/5. I would defiantly take the 50 mim drive to come here again.

Really nice restaurant with great food and service. Lunch after church was a win here! The complimentary appetizer was totally unexpected and quite yummy & different (pictured). It was crispy thin bread chips with multiple dip options (butter, olive oil, 2 cheese spreads). Our order was the filet Mignon with mashed potatoes and burger with potato wedges/broccolini. Both dishes were absolutely delicious although the mashed potatoes were not thick so if you don't like super whipped/runny mashed potatoes these wouldn't be your texture preference though the flavor was great. The burger is not a typical burger guys, the sauce & toppings were a unique flavor combination plus the branded brioche bun to plated perfection was unmatched! Absolutely go enjoy!!

I really wanted to like this place based on a food review TikTok we saw and the past Yelp reviews. Boy was I shocked. Service is dreadfully slow. We went on a Friday afternoon and there were only 3 tables. The food was salty and overcooked. The mock tails we got were overloaded with sugar. Even the soda we ordered was flat and warm- I'm guessing came straight from the bar. I'm writing this to let you know to stay away and save the expensive bill. The food and service is definitely not worth it! On the plus side, the ambiance was not bad. There is a patio area which is nice in the summer.

Delicious from start to finish, and Julia our server was great. We will be back! Thank you!

Q'tal is a solid restaurant in Kearny to visit. Starting with the setting, they have a backyard patio which is a great place to hang out in during the nice summer months. It's also spacious enough so you're not close to other tables. The service is fantastic. Everyone who works there is very attentive as soon as you walk in the front door and they were kind enough to get their own candle for a dessert for my friends birthday. For entrees we ordered the Avocado toast, Steak and Eggs, and Chicken & Waffles. For desserts we ordered the Creme Brulee, Molton lava cake, and Cheesecake. I won't say it's the best food I ever had but they're so kind it makes up for it and you can't beat $3 mimosas.

Roasted octopus with potato emulsion, broccolini and garlic confit! That's it, just go there for that and you will thank me later! Everything I have had there was amazing. From the drinks to the desserts. The star is the octopus no matter who comes here they always end up loving it. I wish they would make it an entrée! Staff is always so nice and caring.

Most recently was last night and that was my last straw. The music was incredibly and unnecessarily loud which they knew because they told us they'd turn it down before we got the chance to ask. Next, there was one waitress on the floor, clearly overwhelmed. Told us she would be back with water but came back almost 20 mins later. We ordered our wine when she came back because who knows how long it would take to receive it. Another 20 mins, maybe more. We watched her seat several groups and I literally had to scream across the room to get her attention and to remind her of the bottle we ordered, which she had the nerve to appear annoyed about. We asked her if we could move from our tables to a nearby couch which she said yes. Before we had a the chance to finish the bottle the GM comes over and tells us to move our seats and that he would take care of us (NEVER DID NOR DID HE CHECK IN). This is the same GM who asked me to give the place another try after the last issues we encountered where they screwed up our checks due their own carelessness. I should've raised more of an issue and questioned him more. But nevertheless we move to these two musty smelling seats. At that point we left and decided that would be the absolute last time. Go at your own risk!

For this particular event it was ticketed at $30 and in order to be seated we had to purchase a bottle of wine. Luckily it wasn't too pricey and since we got there early we were able to get a seat still and order a bottle of wine for $58.10 with gratuity included. The service was excellent and they would come check in on us. We were able to close our tab with no issues when we were ready to leave. As for the R&b night it was a nice vibe. Definitely perfect for a girls night out as well as a date night. If you are single and looking to mingle I'm not sure this event is it. There was definitely more women there than men and most of the men there seemed to be with someone. Overall consigliere is a cute and cozy spot. My sister and I agreed that we both would come back for more of a low key vibe when we want to grab some wine or a mocktail and when there is a non ticketed event. I think we are at the point where we like more low-key things and when things are not overly crowded.

The restaurant is a beautiful corner spot with wonderful lighting and a warm, inviting ambiance. Since it was our first time trying Georgian cuisine, we decided to share a variety of appetizers. If you're a party of six skinny people, you'll do just fine in the chairs. If you're fat Americans like us, it's going to be a tight squeeze. They do a really smart thing. The window seats are pushed a bit away from the windows, so that when the waiter comes to take your order, they don't block the middle aisle where people are trying to walk or carry stuff to tables. Brilliant idea, and one which I wish more would do. The chairs are those mid century modern rattan backed chrome bottomed office chair looking guys. They're comfortable enough, even for us fats, but the rattan was starting to wear out. Hopefully, they'll see to getting them serviced, because it makes the place look a bit ragged. The tables were a lovely size, with plenty of space for our drinks, our food, and the beautiful bespoke charger plates they had on the table with Sihana branding on it. They kept the TVs and other built in furniture from the old Kinjo that used to be here. When we went, the stuff on the TVs was pretty generic. This is fine. Not a lot of places know what to do with those TVs. Back when the location used to be KInjo, they played either K-dramas, Anime, or other such themed shows on there with subtitles, so that it keeps the place on theme. This is NOT an allergy friendly place. If you're vegan, you're going to get either the cocktails, or a dry salad. Also, there's cocktails that have honey, so watch out for that as well. The falafel sandwich, which should be vegan anywhere else you get it, has egg in it. Not ON it, but IN it. The fries are all cooked in shared oil. How shared is the oil? One of our table mates got a mild allergic reaction (she has a shellfish allergy), and had to grab a Benadryl when she got home. It wasn't bad enough for her eyes to close up and have to go to the hospital, but her face was getting flushed, and she started getting really itchy. I'm sure the food was fine. I've been with this group dining out several times. If they're seriously enjoying themselves, they'll usually be raving about what's on their plate, and let the waiter know how good it all was. That didn't happen here. Everyone LOVED the appetisers. That cheesy bread situation was a huge hit. The cocktails are strong, and beautifully made. Well balanced with the right blend of sweetness, tartness, and slight burn of alcohol. Absolutely no complaints there. When the bill came, there's a credit card processing fee. I'd say the place is good. Here's why they're getting full marks: The waiter let us know IMMEDIATELY that there will be nothing for me to eat. He didn't have to go to the kitchen to ask what was safe. He knew immediately that there's nothing at all on the menu that's safe for me. That level of knowledge tells me that you've got a waiter who takes pride in knowing his job, and does it to the best of his ability. You've got an absolute gem of a wait staff in general. I wasn't bothered, because I live very close by and can eat at home. Just know that I'll never set foot in there again. I'm not sure that anyone else would be too eager to go back either. I've been to steak houses that had more option.
