It's more of a combination of movements of a chiropractor and masseuse. Have been coming to BeeAlive 25+ years - Steve is the best!!! Used to come 1-2 times a year for maintenance. Lived out of the area for a few years, back now & looking for at least one visit per year. Have known many people that Steve has helped tremendously. Steve isn't one to tell you to come back in a week or two for more adjusting unless he feels you need it. A number of years ago I had Carpel Tunnel in both wrists. My doctor wanted to do surgery. I told the doctor let me see if my guy (Steve) could work it out. Steve's an all-star. I'd give him 100 stars if I could. It took Steve only ONE 30-minute visit to provide relief for my neck/shoulder pain. My pain was invincible to over-the-counter pain meds, and I couldn't get a full night of sleep due to the pain. No bueno. I needed relief! I had gone to three other professionals who helped me feel better temporarily. After hundreds of dollars and too much pain and time, I finally found Steve through a friend. Steve is one of the best -- if not THE best -- in the area. Trained in Europe, he has an unearthly understanding of the interconnectedness of the bones, muscles, etc of the human body. Steve didn't address just my upper back area; rather, he addressed the balance of my entire body -- head to toe. I will never go to anyone else if I experience anything that seems outta whack. Another professional told me my pain issue would take 6-8 weeks of treatment at his facility 1-2x/week. This same professional also told me that weight/strength-training wasn't what I needed when I asked if it would help. On the other hand ....When I first saw Steve and told him I'd just started weight training, Steve said, "You're feeling better already, aren't you?" He totallllly gets it! He knows that he's not the only thing I need. Well.... my appointment with Steve was one week after I'd started weight training, and I was already feeling some relief due to the weight training, but he took care of my pain problem. No more pain meds. (Pretty sure I'll need to go back for a follow-up, but as of now, I'm sleeping like a charm, I'm more flexible, the stiffness is gone, and the shooting pain is gone.) A bonus: He's worked with top-notch athletes, including the LA Rams back in the day, as well as FCC athletes once he moved back to the Fresno area. Steve has helped me on numerous occasions with severe neck, back and shoulder pain. The massage is intense, and not for those who are very sensitive. However, this is exactly what I need to work out my stiff and stubborn muscles when they flare up from time to time. Typical spa massage simply doesn't get the job done. I've been going here for years. my first visit was for sciatica that was bad enough for my Doc to be talking surgery about. When you are in enough pain, you'll try anything so I went to see Steve reluctantly and not expecting anything . My visit was 30 minutes, all he had open. The office is unconventional and some may walk out but again, when in pain... In 30-40 minutes, the sciatica was and is gone. I've been back once for it over the years when it started to creep back. Wow! I went in with lower back to schedule an appt. He didn't have time to see me that day, but he did work on me for about 3min and the results were shocking. In a good way! I could touch my toes, which I hadn't been able to do in some time, I could feel circulation, and he fixed a slight limp I had. It was incredible. I definitely recommend Steve. read more

I will cry when Steve retires. He is the absolute best. He is the reason I am walking. I had messed up my leg in a bicycle accident and could only limp for months. One thirty minute treatment with him and all problems were gone. I walked out like a normal person, so happy. I have referred many to him and all have come away with their problem fixed. Steve knows what he's doing. My 4 year old had been complaining about his shoulder since a car wreck we were in. Chiropractor didn't help. Steve took care of it if a couple of minutes and afterwards our boy was happy and told me "feels better".
