I have to run for my job and I don't want to be the guy who is "in shape" but can run 1/4 mile without dying . With that being said, I despise running because it kills my feet. So I decided to get fitted at this location. Jaclyn was a pro and have 4-5 pairs of shoes in front of me within 5 minutes. She had me stand on their 3D scanner, walk on their special pads, and walk so she could see my steps. She was a real pro. Than came the shoes. She got 4-5 pairs out, helped me get them on and off and had the patience of a saint. Granted I was pretty easy and fast, but I could tell she was ready to help me all day if need be. 18 minutes and she had me in the perfect shoe....unreal and I'm beyond happy with my purchase. Thank you so much to this location for having such great employees. Value here I felt was really great. She also pointed me towards the shoes I NEEDED and not the ones that were the newest or most expensive. She only even asked for my opinion, and gave facts about the shoes. Not once did she give her personal opinion; because like a pro, she knows everyone's feet are different. I 10000000% recommend this place!!

We left with much more - inserts that should help me, especially during soccer, a pair of shoes for my wife that have her excited about how well they fit and perform, and a couple other Christmas stocking stuffers. Beyond the high quality shoes, we have a better understanding of our feet... my heel has been a bit tight the past few weeks and I have found a few stretches that help it loosen up. I trained for a single 5k. This is no sport for me. But walking is a sport for me, and I have some minor foot issues, so I find myself at Big River once or twice a year. This location is in the charming retail and small business stretch of North & South in (or near??) U-City. The staff are helpful. They make sure to analyze your stance and movements. They look at the wear on your current shoes. They will order the shoes in different colors. I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes for service. Usually I don't have to wait at all.

Show Me Weights sells these amazing black heavy foam floor mats. A few years ago I lined a 100…read moresquare foot area of my business with the mats and they have held up great. The area gets a lot of traffic and the floor was uneven so the mats were the perfect solution. It lessens impact. I just made myself a small gym at work so I went back to Show Me Weights for more floor mats, some plates to weigh down a bag stand and a step bench. Their prices are fair. They help you load your purchases. Great place!

Anything you need for baseball, football. Other sports too I'm sure. They have a large selection of Cardinals and Blues hats, jerseys, shirts etc. No selection of ice hockey equipment I seen.
