$2,715.90 This nice…read moreman was referred by a friend. He never provided me an estimate as I'd requested prior to showing up and I, foolishly, didn't push it. (Other estimates were between $1280-1600.) He and a helper showed up on time to do the work. Which included replacing a valve stem in a shower handle, removing a 30 gallon water heater from my attic, replacing it with a 30 gallon water heater and adding a disconnect. they also replaced the expansion tank without consulting me instead of using the expansion tank. thathad been put on a couple years ago. He arrived at 9:30 in the morning. At 11 AM they had not gotten the water heater out of the attic and informed me that the water heater they bought was too wide to access the opening into the attic and they would need to return it and get a different type of water heater. They left my house around 3:30pm (taking between 11:30 and 1:40 to return their first selected water heater and have lunch.) He charged me $603.90 for materials $2112 for labor. My total invoice was $2,715.90! If you work with this man, i strongly advise that you have him commit to an estimate in writing prior to beginning work. $2,715.90

He is…read moresuper cool and professional and I met his delightful and energetic older brother Travis who is meticulously prepping our walls as we speak. They both speak with confidence and back it up with ability. I interviewed at least 3 painters before I chose them. Their references were really good. I checked out their nice website, as well. Our kitchen and bathroom had wallpaper to be removed, there are holes to be patched and dinginess everywhere. Some of the other painters told me about the shortcuts they would take and promised me I would never notice. I bet I will. Some painters had names for their companies but I knew I would be writing the check to the painter because there is no real company. I check all of that stuff out. But Priceless Painting Plus is a real company, it has insurance, it has a written warranty of its work, etc. Trae is very specific about what I'm paying for. It shows in the written itemization of his quote. They communicate so very well that I am never confused.
