When the generator arrived, it was easy to set up the site visit to begin work. Dustin and his crew arrived on time, worked efficiently and got the unit installed with no problems. Dustin walked me through that process as well. And when the gas company (finally) made the necessary connections, Dustin was back out to finish the job. Again, with great explanations and a step-by-step tutorial. When they finished, my yard looked even better than before they began the work. Masters Generator is tops in my book. I took a chance on Master of Generators and Electrical Service and am happy that I did. I almost canceled because it was nearly 4 pm, and I hadn't heard from them since 2 pm. I wasn't confident Christian could finish the work before dinner time. When I called to cancel, a professional lady offered to get Christian and Jeremy's ETA, which went well. They apologized for running behind schedule. However, I am not off the hook because I should have believed MGES when they stated that the electricians would "arrive between the hours of 12 pm and 4 pm," which I now know, in hindsight, they would have. Christian and Jeremy are fantastic electricians. They came through the door dripping with experience, confidence, and wonderful personalities. One worked on the hallway light fixture while the other tackled the dining room. When Christian put up the flush mount fixture for the hallway within 10 minutes, he joined Jeremy to help assemble a complex chandelier. That chandelier encompassed several bars to connect to eight lights. Despite my initial concerns, the task was completed in a remarkably short time, with the total service time being under an hour. Christian and Jeremy not only met but exceeded my expectations. Their service was impeccable, and the price I paid for such efficient and high-quality work was more than reasonable. Percy is a born salesman, and he will make you feel like he's got everything under control. I hired…read morehim to do a simple EV Charger install, and he quoted me $1000. Then it changed to $1500, then $2500. He didn't do any of the work himself and had to tear out half the install at least once because it clearly was a safety hazard. He charged me $550 for wire that he didn't even use; his employee did a half-ass job that won't pass inspection. In total, they spent less than 12 hours on the job (9 if you skip the part where they had to uninstall the first part) and charged me $3350. That's nearly $400/hr for substandard work. When approached about it, he pretended to listen, but nothing changed. He refuses to return my calls or respond to a certified letter. He's a fast talker, though, so be cautious. We gave him multiple chances to refund the $850 he overcharged us, and he won't reply. We will be reporting him to the labor board and to the Licensing Bureau for electricians. It's unfortunate that he turned out to be so irresponsible.

Manny and his apprentice were punctual, professional, polite, friendly and answered all of our questions and concerns. They spent at least 90 minutes thoroughly looking over everything brought up in the home inspection, a couple more concerns of our own, and at our request they helped prioritize repairs based on what is most critical for a safe home. They gave us estimates to do all of the work at once, each one on its own, scenarios in between, and explained their financing options. We're also very impressed with Aardvark's owner and the thorough, frequent training of his employees and the fact that his employees seem very happy and proud to work at Aardvark Electric. The person who answers the phone at Aardvark is also always very prompt and cheerful in answering calls.
