He removed some yews I had planted and replaced them with Arbor Vitae in 2017. Last year I called and asked him to come over because the deer had destroyed them as well. Todd came over in June of 2018 and said he would return because there were things he could do to protect the trees. He never returned; additionally, he has never returned my phone calls. I had requested a hydrangea bush as well in 2017. In 2017 and 2018 he said, "I will look into it." Perhaps he has disappeared into a parallel universe of hydrangeas. I find Todd's behavior beyond unacceptable; it is both unethical and unprofessional. I have spoken to several landscapers in the area. They both agreed that an ESF student should know that deer love Arbor Vitae. I am not in an income bracket where $5000 is chump change. Jim was not the least expensive qoute we got. Jim was the only contractor quoting us that pointed out the grade in the back yard was pitched toward our house which he would fix the grade when he came. My wife and I were originally going to have the sidewalk torn out and replaced with new concrete then stampcreted. Jim again was the only contractor to tell us he could do an overlay on the exsisting sidewalk and landing with stampcrete, a savings of $3500 over the other contractors that bid on only tearing the sidewalk out! Once finished Jim corrected the grade with premium topsoil Icalled Jim to get a quote and got his voicemail he promptly returned my call. He did stop at our house while my father-in law was there doing some work. Jim looked at the work we wanted done and called me later in the day. I asked him to send me a quote but he insisted on meeting with my wife and myself on a Sunday! He showed up promptly on Sunday and went over the job with us pointing out several things we had overlooked. He emailed us the quote the following day,Monday.The weather presented some challenges to start the job. Jim was careful not to start work that would interfere with the pouring of the concrete, stamping, or sealing of his work. Jim has two specialists working with him one of which is his brother Jeff and also John. All three gentlemen were professional and helpful as the process went along. As the work progressed you could see that they had an eye for detail being very particular about how the concrete looked as it was being poured and as it was setting. As they stamped the concrete Jim could be heard offering his coaching of "not so hard"! They used a Bobcat and small backhoe. The process with the machinery tore up the lawn. The topsoil that Jim brought in was the finest quality and the grading that they did to the lawn was near flawless!

We were delighted that he was able come so quickly to get started as we were anxious to move in. Upon arriving we inspected the area and he assured me he would be able to take care of the job in about 4 days. This is where the nightmare begins. Every time they came to my house they made things worse. They are sloppy and careless. They have no pride in their work and don't care about your house. I asked for a refund and was told "that's not going to happen." My entry and stair case are the are so messed up that I will need to call in professionals to fix. I need to have the entire job done again by someone who knows what they're doing. They are messy and careless. They make you pay before the final coat of poly is dry so they are long gone before you can really check out their handy work. They did offer to come back and try again. I declined their offer because they had already delayed us 5 days from moving in which ended up costing us so much money. I can not stress this enough. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!
