This is my go-to snowball stand! I have literally been coming here since I was a young child. I honestly don't even know when they open for the season. I just know when I am randomly driving past, if I see that they are open, I stop by for my signature egg custard snowball with with marshmallows on the bottom! There is plenty of parking and some seats for you to enjoy your snowball immediately. The service is fast and efficient and the snowballs are reasonably priced. They do not skim on the syrup either. I went there for snowballs and was given snowballs with very very little juice. Mostly ice. I called to speak to someone and the man that answered was very nice and transferred me to the owner and his attitude was so bad I said ok I see why I was given subpar very low quality snowballs. Totally worth the drive from Ft. Meade! DGS has been loving shave ice since we lived in Honolulu. It's tough to find here, sadly - and most of the places spell it WRONG. There is no 'd' on the end of it! Anyway, we are always in search of snowballs that are close, and we just found our place. Not super close in distance, but definitely close to shave ice! Not a terrible drive for a once-a-week treat. Prices are very good and even a small sized snowball has plenty in it. DGD didn't want a snowball, but the helpful server said she could get the ice cream separate. So for $5.20 (because I dropped a $1 in the tip jar), I have 2 very happy g'kids! Also, they now take plastic Google directions were great, although it seemed to suddenly be there (I almost missed the driveway). Thank goodness for the sandwich boards out at the curb. But just for info, there's a Royal Farms just before you get to it, at least from my direction. read more

This is one of my favorite snowball stands in all of Maryland. I now live in Arizona and each time we come to town for our summer visit-- this is a must and we come every night we are there! The staff is always so nice. This place is always super busy! The have tons of flavors and the best pricing!! Let me start by saying this: I've never had a snowball before. I didn't even know what a snowball WAS before I moved to Maryland. (I'm from Pennsylvania) When I found out snowballs were just glorified snow cones, I was turned off, especially when I learned that Egg Custard is a real flavor that's a "MUST HAVE". And topped with marshmallow fluff?! It sounds SO gross. However, after so many people told me that I HAVE to try one, I finally caved one night. B & B Snowballs is very close to my apartment, I figured I'd give it a shot. We went on a Friday night in August, after 7pm after dinner, I thought it would be very crowded and pleased to see we didn't have to wait in line long. The girl behind the counter was friendly and took our orders with no problems. My boyfriend got a large egg custard with marshmallow (the size large, is LARGE, be aware the cup is huge) and I got a medium pumpkin pie with marshmallow(since it was closer to September, I get in the fall spirit early). DELICIOUS. SO freaking good, now I'm pissed with myself for waiting so long. The egg custard as nothing like I thought it would taste like and my pumpkin pie was "autumn ice" in a cup. Who knew marshmallow fluff on ice would be so delicious and FILLING?! We can't wait to go back and try more flavors. Fun addition: When I got out of the car, I saw a stray cat on the side of the building and he was so friendly and walked right up to me for pets. I told the man in the crab shack window on the side of the stand to just be careful, there are stray cats outside under someone's car. Turns out, they were well aware of that, the cats were waiting to be fed, they've lived there for years! So if you plan to visit, there are friendly kitties nearby who love rubs! read more

I love this snowball and crab stand, I've lived near it for years and has been a staple to summer life in Glen Burnie. The snowballs are well priced and the seafood is amazingly seasoned and always good quality, Despite how amazing this stand is I can only give 4 stars because it is next to impossible to get them on the phone. I've tried many many times throughout this summer of 2024 and have not once gotten someone on the phone to get a price point and order crabs. Which is a shame as I've been staying at my boyfriends place and have been raving to him and his family about these crabs but haven't been able to share the experience with the due to poor phone service on B & B end. read more

I prefer to cut some of the sugar, so I mix regular flavor with sugar-free. In this case it was $2 medium raspberry/strawberry combo, respectively, & I think next time I'll get small. My friend had large (very large) spearmint with a scoop of ice cream, but it was even more than a scoop. More like half the cup according to him. Writing a review for a snowball stand seems a little weird. BUT...I get the impression that Baltimore is pretty picky about their snowballs. And I get it. If you've had marshmallow that feels like week old Elmers glue... This place was great. Two long lines when we drove up was a good sign. Just enough flavor and fresh marshmallow. Price was about right too. And they opened before May which is not as common. They also have half the building for crabs but we didn't try it. read more

There is no competition- this is the only place you should be buying snowballs from! They give the most flavoring in a snowball and it's consistent! It's hard to find a place in Glen Burnie that is consistent with being generous with the flavoring. The lines are sometimes a little long but it's well worth the wait! read more

Well I've been 3 times already in a month and I can say I'm very pleased with the service with a smile, flavor is true to taste and not watered down, price is descent, atmosphere reminds me in my younger days.
