Dark chocolate ice cream with peanut butter syrup is tasty and refreshing. The service was quick and the sure was clean!
Pretty tasty ice cream. I got the caramel old bay and it was sweet, creamy, with a hint of spiciness from the old bay. Kind of wish I got the chocolate one but I still enjoyed the caramel one. Line moved pretty quickly and the servers were sweet. There's some benches outside but if those are occupied, you gotta find another spot to sit and enjoy the sweet treat.
I love this spot! The ice cream sando is so perfect and I think anyone who tried it would enjoy it :) There's a lot of seating in this plaza so it's perfect to get some ice cream from here on a warm day and relax.

I went with a scoop of salted caramel and it was delicious. It was a warm evening out so the line is out the door. Just like the one I visited before, there's not much space inside, but benches outside to enjoy your sweet treats!

They have a wide variety of flavors, and unique ones to the area like Old Bay and Sweet Corn. I enjoyed their Old Bay Caramel, and can't wait to try their other flavors. I appreciate the use of metal spoons for tasting flavors!
One of my favorite ice cream place in Columbia. I like their concept and the stuff. They are really nice and kind... I only try coconut and Maryland mud. They are good. In the beginning the coconut flavor was more strange and it was pretty good. I can't take same taste as the beginning but still good. I wanna try the others asap. They also make the cone over there as fresh as much. Also there is a little card, they put mark on every time you buy ice cream, if you complete ten mark you earn free ice cream! Isn't it nice?
Wow !!! My fiancé and I went here the first time on a date and OHMYGOODNESS!!! This place is not only cute with bursts of beautiful colors, but their employees are AMAZING !! Thank you to the guy who helped us create a great experience of delicious ice cream . You guys are the BEST!!
bluf - a local franchise that delivers seasonal flavors that are both unique and tasty albeit on the upper range on the pricing scale. Charmery is a cool little spot tucked around the corner in Color Burst Park and it offers a nice little pit stop for a bite of dessert. You pay a bit of a premium price for the artisanal flavors though. I got a "kiddie" sized cup for $5 pre-tip. That being said, the flavors are good. I would love for the seating situation to be better (or exist). There's no indoor seating available, which makes it a bit tough for colder days. There's plenty of outdoor seating, but nobody wants to eat ice cream outside on a cold day.
First time visiting The Charmery. On the day that we decided to give it a try, it was really crowded to the point that a long line had formed outside of the establishment. It was good that we arrived right before it got really crowded. This leads me to staff efficiency. They handled the crowd with ease. It was amazing to see how they flowed through serving the crowd without missing a beat. Even with some customer indecision about what to order, the assembly line process was top notch. As for the ice cream, they had some regular flavors, but mostly unusual intriguing flavors. I decided on a safe choice, which was salted caramel. It was some of the best salted caramel ice cream that I have ever tasted. The saltiness, the sweetness of the caramel and the overall creaminess were collectively all amazing. The store made waffle cone was also delicious. It was a very warm day, so the ice cream melted faster than I could eat, so it was a little messy. The outside tables across the street from the shop were pretty messy from prior customer's melted ice cream. The one napkin that was wrapped around my cone was not enough to accommodate the melting ice cream or to clean up the messy table and bench. The smell upon walking into the shop was so sweet, the air smelled of waffle cones. It also appeared very clean. I would like to return at some point and try a more adventurous flavor.

I got a kiddie scoop of Milk and Cookies with Oreo toppings and it was $5.91 which was very affordable and reasonable. The ice cream was creamy and so good! There aren't places to sit inside but in this area there is plenty of outside seating. They have waffle cones, cups and so many flavors! Free Parking is right across the street too. My friend got the Barley Malt flavor which she really likes. They let you try different flavors which is super helpful and I tried two, an apple flavored ice cream and a mud chocolate flavor. (I still went with milk and cookies lol!) I def recommend and I would absolutely visit again.
The Charmery is in a cool little spot in an area that resembles a downtown randomly nestled around trees. It almost reminded me of Bell Works if Bell Works was outside. Nonetheless, the ice cream, specifically the Maryland Mud, was delicious. They did not mess up chocolate ice cream with Oreos. The shop is somewhat small with no seating areas inside so plan accordingly. read more
This review is based on two visits. The first time I stopped by here the ice cream was phenomenal. I went with the dark chocolate and the texture was my favorite. I hate runny ice cream and this was the complete opposite. It was chewy and showed zero signs of ice cream soup even after 5 minutes. I loved it so much I came by the next day with the kids. I ordered the exact same flavor and what I got was a soupy mess. I'm not sure what changed within 24 hours but I was so disappointed. I don't know if something went wrong with the freezers but the ice cream clearly wasn't being chilled at the right temperature. Texture aside, the flavors here are great. I'm hoping it was a fluke so I can give this place their last star. read more

Overall great ice cream! It is very creamy and thick, and they give generous portions in my opinion. There are a variety of flavors to choose from, but I did enjoy the Cookies and Cream a lot. Service was pretty quick, and we were able to sample some different flavors as well. There is no seating inside, so definitely plan to sit outside or take it to go! read more

April 2023 The Charmery is located in Merriweather District. They offer a handful of a unique flavors and creative flavor names. Samples are provided, which is nice. I tried the Salty Caramel, Maryland Caramel, and Maryland Mud. It was a tough decision because they were all so tasty, but I decided on the Maryland Mud. It was rich, smooth, and chocolaty. Ice cream is available in a cup or a cone. They also sell prepackaged ice cream, milkshakes, floats, and toppings for ice cream. Gift cards and loyalty cards are available. Unfortunately they don't have indoor seating so you have to take it to go. Staff are all friendly. read more

I recently visited The Charmery and tried their ice cream sandwich flavor in a waffle cone, and it was delicious! The ice cream was creamy and full of flavor, with chunks of cookie mixed in that added a nice crunch. The waffle cone held up well to the generous scoops of ice cream. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely be returning, although I do wish they would bring back the Speculoos flavor LOL. That used to have me in a chokehold! read more
Needed a sweet treat after dinner n the Merriweather district and walked by the Charmery. I had heard good things about it so I'd been wanting to try it out. My daughter is always up for some ice cream so she was willing to give it a try as well. Still looks nice and clean inside and there was no line on a Tuesday evening. There was no line when we got there so we didn't have to wait long. They have a lot of interesting flavors. I had the cookie dough and my daughter went with the basic chocolate. The portions are tiny and it's expensive so I won't be coming often. It runs about 7 dollars for a small scoop. Toppings are a little extra. We got ours in cups but they have mini cones and larger waffle cones. Ice cream was soft and sweet. Reminds me of a fancy baskin robins. read more

First thing I have to say is that you can smell the sweetness from this store down the street! It smelled SO good. It's located in a really fun area near the Merriweather Pavillon. I got the Brownie Fudge Sundae which only comes in a cup (didn't know this when I ordered it). I asked them to give me a cone, but it wasn't the most aesthetic by that point. It was tasty, but there was way too much whipped cream, and the ice cream seemed to melt quickly. read more

Stopped in here after dinner at Peter Chang. I always like ice cream shops with either really good soft serve or creative hard ice cream flavors. After trying old bay caramel and Saturday morning cartoons, ended up with a scoop of the latter. Was fast, reasonably priced, and pretty good ice cream. I'd be back to try another creative flavor. read more
Clean shop, cute decorated, bathroom, funny small decors spread out. BUT... we were not a big fan of the ice cream. We ordered three different shakes , they all taste it overly sweet. We did not order any ice cream's on the cone or in a cup , so not really sure if they added any syrup into the milkshakes. I truly hope they didn't because if the ice cream is good enough, normally the ice cream shops, they don't need to add anything additional to it. Not sure if we will return . read more

Visited The Charmery last night, and had a great visit! When we arrived, we saw the line was out the door! However, don't let it scare you as the line moves very quickly and we were inside in a matter of minutes. There are also two murals in the outside that are very fun, and we even saw people taking photos in front of them. The Charmery has their flavors listed on the wall ranging from seasonal, rotational "here for now," and permanent "always." When you get to the counter, you can ask to sample any of the flavors. The staff team is very quick and provided great, friendly service. We sampled a few flavors before we made our final selections: Incredible Hulk and Hokey Pokey. Both ice creams were delish! We will definitely be back again! read more
We went to this charming little place yesterday. Its a small location. Smells really good though. We had maryland mud flavor and roasted strawberry. It was pretty good but the maryland mud had too much chocolate chip. I like it subtle but it was plenty of it. read more
