This was my second visit to Bruster's. Overall it usually satisfies my sugar cravings. I had the medium waffle cone and it comes with 3 scoops which are huge in portions. Customer service is always great.The line was extremely long tonight it has never been that long in the past. It went fast we waited about 15 minutes. I have tried many other flavors but Birthday Cake is my all time favorite. It's Cake Batter flavored ice cream with ribbons of blue butter cream and sprinkles. Amazing!! One of the best ice cream shops in Maryland! Fast and friendly service. Many different flavors to choose from in ice cream, Italian ice and sorbets. I got a 2 scoop small cup of cinnamon bun and cookie jar crunch. Cinnamon bun was the right amount of sweetness and cinnamon. Cookie jar crunch had Oreo cookies pieces in every bite. My daughter and I were in the area. We wanted snowballs but the stand was closed. Remembering Brusters and their ice cream from when my children were little, we decided to head there. If it's a hot summer day, and you can drive past Bridget's without stopping, than you are a stronger man than I. When you ask to try a flavor they give you a heaping spoon full. I don't do toppings but they have them. Look out for chocolate birthday cake and wedding cake varieties as these seem to " take the cake" for me. Customer service is terrible and for the price you pay & the wait in line we expected better. Our boys Oreo shakes were basically milk with Oreo crumbs. The young lady that served us was overwhelmed & was bothered by the fact that we didn't hear her call us the 1st time around to grab our waffle cone despite the fact that there was a lot of people there and it was pretty loud. As disabled veterans that served this country we deserve better to at least be treated like decent humans. A nice family recently bought this Brusters. They are friendly and pleased to make your experience great. Today I needed a taste of home and the owner gladly made me a black n white shake the correct way. You see, Bruster put them under comprehensive training in PA where Brusters originated. Literally our favorite ice cream place and favorite Bruster's location. We've been to other locations and the service wasn't as good as this location. My absolute favorite is the DFB (double fudge brownie). They don't always have it to I sign up to be notified of when they do! You can do that...sign up to be notified of when they have your favorite flavor(s). If it's summertime and super busy, I typically will place an online order because they have a separate window just for pick-up orders and then you can wait in your vehicle until it's ready! They will call you and let you know it's ready, like on the phone which is awesome! Every flavor ice cream I've tried here has been great. I've also had them hot fudge sundae, chocolate milkshake and strawberry shortcake...yummy. There are some outside tables with seats as well as some benches but if it's a nice day out and they're crowded, those will fill up quickly. read more

We typically go to the location in Glen Burnie but this location is much closer, but we will see if we continue going to this location. The ice cream scoops are tiny, vs the Glen Burnie location. At the Glen Burnie location a small waffle cone with two scoops is more then enough it's like you get 3x the amount of ice cream then the Odenton location. We will give the Odenton location one more try but we felt ripped off with the portions. read more

I typically visit the Severna Park location but placed an order at the Glen Burnie location for pick up today. I placed my order on the phone 2 days ago. My family and I love the banana icecream. I also got my family in NJ hooked on it everytime I go home I bring a gallon with me. I order two 1/2 gallons of banana ice cream on Tuesday to pick up Thursday. Placing the order was easy and you just have to provide your name and phone number. I have places orders in the past but always more advanced time. Upon arrival the enployee found my order easily. There was an issue with the computer to I stood around for at least five minutes as they attempted to fix the computer. It felt like forever. But the employees were friendly and apologetic. This was a nice "local" feeling ice cream place. The parking is really easy, plenty of spaces. I also thought it was nice how they had benches and tables for people to sit at. You can pull up and jump in the line at Brusters for a cold creamy treat. They have an ever changing menu with new and seasonal flavors all of the time. I get custom made ice cream there sometimes. I have been coming to Bruster's for years, all year long. I read some of the previous reviews and I agree with the mixed reviews. The ice cream is delicious. I tend to order the special, weekly flavors. Usually an unusual concoction. Banana cream with cookies mixed in, apple pie with apples and pie crust. I've never had anything that I didn't like nor wouldn't order again. The scoop are huge! A regular size is 3 scoops. The small is two scoops. I order a single or small which is more than enough. Customer service can be iffy. The turnover is high. Who wants to stand for hours scooping ice cream to a never ending line of customers in the middle of summer. But that is what they are getting paid for. Some of the staff can be short, not super friendly. Others are extremely pleasant. Brusters is open until 11pm during the summer and 10pm the rest of the year. You'll see a line of customers until 11pm, rain or shine. During the winter, there will be customers standing in the cold. Love, love, love!!!!! Brusters is awesome. They have a drive thru window and an outdoor window to order from. Their ice cream is all made in house and hand churned. All the people who have helped me there are not only helpful, but kind and occasionally like to give you free coupons. They have a rotation of many different flavors including 2-4 dairy free options (that are so wonderful you wouldn't believe they are dairy free!!). I recently in the last 5 years have had to go vegan and it's so wonderful to have a place I can come to with my family and be able to enjoy wonderful ice cream that also doesn't taste like you're sacrificing anything. Verified delicious. Almond Mocha Fudge. (PERIOD) So I ordered two small butter pecans in cups, a chocolate and red velvet small sugar cone, and small waffle almond mocha fudge with strawberry. I can't even tell you how the others in my party felt, I lost all interest after tasting the almond mocha fudge. It was literally rich Almonds, Mocha, and Fudge. Poor strawberry didn't have a chance, not a chance. The strawberry should have been on top, while it was good and had strawberry pieces, they couldn't be compared. Before ordering I did ask if they have coffee ice cream; although it wasn't on the list I figured I give it a try. The young man who took our order was really nice and provided that they do have a coffee with Oreos but was sold out. I'm definitely looking forward to that. They have a rewards program, with a $3 reward for just signing up. In addition, children under 40 inches receive a free ice cream cone.
