I followed up with my county emergency management division and discovered that the county DOES NOT refer companies to do restoration work for its residents. Mr. Kearns encouraged me to begin work immediately against my insurance companies advice. Chad Kearns visited my home on two occasions following the storm that caused hundreds of thousands of dollars to my home when a tree fell on my house. Both times he claimed he was recommended by the county fire department. These statements were completely false. Preying on victims of natural disasters by claiming you represent the county is a fraudulent way to do business.

A 6-man crew came and they worked like a well-oiled machine together, with both the work itself and also the yard cleanup. They were so efficient and communicative. The owner left tree pieces he was supposed to haul away. I saw him add them to a pile of cut trees we already had. They just ran over things that were in their way instead of asking us to move them, breaking things like yard stakes where I didn't want vehicles to park anyway. They damaged a lot of smaller trees that I asked them to avoid just running into them with their equipment. I do not recommend this company. The only good thing about it was the price.

Instead of minor touch-ups, I was left with significant damage, including large ruts, exposed dirt, and leftover debris from the tree--resulting in additional repair costs. Payment expectations were also not clearly communicated in advance, which created issues at the time of service. Most concerning, after I raised these problems, the company said they would return to address the damage. They never followed through and stopped responding. At this point, the issue is not just the property damage, but the lack of accountability. If you decide to hire this company, make sure everything is documented in writing and take photos of your property beforehand.
