Then another person told me we told them not to put the Polaris in and they did do the cleaning. But you said the pool was too cloudy to do the cleaning and put the Polaris in. So something just doesn't add up. The one person's solution was for us to pay them to come and do a cleaning at their normal rate.

Sadly, you cannot count on Chris to keep his word, or even care about his commitments. What he is good at, is blaming everyone else in the world for his failing to show up or communicate with you. But, this one is definitely necessary…read more We decided to use Chris and Gehan of GN Pools because we needed a pool inspection prior to purchasing our new home. Chris seemed very knowledgable on anything pertaining to pools and his quote for pool restoration was right in the middle (not too high, not too low). When the pool renovation started, the sub-contractors worked fast and seemed to do a thorough job. The problems all began with any services Chris and Gehan rendered themselves. We had originally selected a tile, which they failed to order in a timely manner. When they got around to finally ordering the tile, it was backordered. I actually had to find another distributor myself for them to order, and then they charged us more because it wasn't through their discounted supplier. They said we could pick another tile or be delayed by an undetermined amount of time. The communication with either Chris of Gehan is extremely poor. I don't know how they run a business. We would call, text, email without a response for days. There was never a definitive answer or timeline for anything. Their estimate at the beginning versus what they actually charged was off by over $8000! Finally, they charged us over $25000 for a pool restoration and then didn't even finish the job. They never completed the caulking around the perimeter of the pool -- we have reached out multiple times regarding this issue without response for weeks. It's very, very unfortunate. Please, use our experience as a lesson. Do NOT use this company!
