Excellent, prompt, and attentive service, fantastic overall experience. I had an excellent experience with B&F. Their movers (the owner and his son) arrived on time and came fully prepared with furniture pads and the necessary tools to transport all my furniture (even being prepared and easily able to transport an oversized couch down over an exterior balcony when it would not fit through the stairs)! They were courteous and clearly experienced and took time to ensure none of my belongings were damaged during the move and that they were securely packed in their truck for transport. For some of my items that needed to be placed into storage, they helped me organize everything "Tetris" style to the point where I was able to use a smaller storage unit than originally expected. The savings from using a smaller unit alone will likely pay for the entire cost of using movers over the next few months! All in all, I was extremely impressed with my experience with B&F and look forward to using them for my next move (whenever that may be). read more

Jason and Joe were fantastic with moving everything and also extremely knowledgeable on how to take apart furniture and put it back together in under 20-30 seconds. They took apart my bed frame for me and put it together again in my new apartment! Prices were great for the amount of work they got done and also the best out of 3-4 quotes we got. They also wrapped certain items that could clearly get damaged and were very smart about how to transport everything. One last comment: they were fun to talk to! I was so stressed about moving but Jason and Joe were joking with me and talking with me about previous experiences, giving me tips about different things in the area. I hired B & F on a recommendation from a friend. I was looking for someone new because the last movers turned out to be a near disaster. B & F was the right choice! Their pricing was better than estimates I got from competitors. The moving crew showed up on time and worked efficiently. They took good care of my possessions. I hired B&F Moving for two moves. One was from a store to a storage unit, and the other was from my house to storage unit to apartment. On both moves the workers were fast, friendly, and professional. All of the furniture was well-wrapped and padded and secured in the truck/trailer. I thought their prices were very reasonable, and they came in a tad under the quote for both moves. As a bonus, they only charged $50 extra to move a piano from the first floor in a house to a second floor apartment. They are very quick to respond to quotes, and their customer service is really good. read more

These guys are awesome. I called several moving companies before finding this one. They all start charging by the hour upon leaving their driveway, not when they actually start working. Wouldn't it be nice if our employers paid us for our commutes to work? Jason was one of the only guys to return my call promptly and politely. Most other guys were arrogant and rude, why would I hire someone like that. Jason gave me a very fair price for the move. At least $100 less than anyone else I spoke with. On moving day these guys were prompt, extremely efficient and above all very nice. All of my items were moved carefully and arrived to my new apartment in perfect condition. I can't comment their moving skills, but I can share that they're incapable of keeping an appointment to give an estimate. 3 appointments this week (!), 3 no-shows, no phone calls. So unprofessional. Business must be good to care so little about customer acquisition, but I'm not sure how. read more

Personally, I believe reviewing those services available locally is more important than reviewing restaurants cos not being able to move on the day you planned is way worse than bad food. Anyways, I was able to move on the planned day and I would probably use this company again if I move within Buffalo. I found this company on Yelp and the communication was really smooth using the Yelp messages. Their estimate was lower than others. I called to confirm the time and date the day before and nobody picked up the phone. The anxiety piled up, but I was telling myself, my lease is not up, if they don't show up, I can still find somebody else and move on another day. Nobody picked up the phone on the day of at 9am, but they showed up at 9:30 as scheduled.... 3 guys including the owner of the company came to assess my stuff. Jason the owner knew my building so it was really helpful in terms of where to park the truck and where the freight elevator was. They started loading using their dollies. Rough at times, but not horrible. They didn't even take a break and finished loading my crap on the truck, then headed to a new place. It took 5 hours total. They took off my mounted TV, a shelf, dissembled a day bed. I did tip the team rather generously. Sadly I did notice greasy stains on my favorite couch, that wouldn't come off even with the grandmother's degreaser or the goof off. I let them know about it and I feel like Jason is open to having another convo if I do use furniture cleaning, etc. Also there was a part of the day bed they forgot to assemble, but they took care of it on a later day. Overall, I had a positive experience with this company knowing my anxiety level about hiring a mover and moving is unreasonably high. read more

I cannot say enough about how wonderful they are. After an AWFUL experience with uhaul, B&F switched the move day on a very short notice for me. Not only did they move their schedule to accommodate for Uhauls awful customer service, but the woman who took my calls was an incredible source of comfort. Who would ever expect that from a moving company?? And the three movers who came were just as equally amazing. It was the least stressful part of this move to Boston, MA. Jason and his team were life-savers! After another local company cancelled on me at the last minute, Jason fit me in on the exact day that I needed. He and his team were efficient in packing up my one bedroom apartment. He deconstructed the furniture that was too big and wrapped and padded everything to ensure nothing was damaged in the drive across town. At the other end, they unloaded everything efficiently despite a difficult route through the new apartment complex. Jason and his team were friendly and Jason made sure to ask questions ahead of time to make sure we were all on the same page. jason and co. were excellent! our move took place at the busiest time of year (aug 31) and we were having the worst time trying to find a moving company who could move us with fairly short notice. b&f saved us by offering to move us on a sunday during the holiday weekend at a slightly higher rate than normal (which was still lower than the competitors by a fair amount) and were able to complete the job within 2 hours, which considering that we were moving to a third floor walk up with a ton of books, says a lot. all the movers were friendly, professional, and hardworking, and our stuff was treated very well. i would definitely use them again. read more

Get a real moving company if you want the thinhs that youve worked for not to be busted. Horrible. Broke my very expensive fridge and the pedestals to my Samsung washing and drying machines and refuses to accept responsibility. One of the movers smelled of booze and the other one I was afraid to have around my kids in the house. Worst moving company ever!!!!!!!! After calling and getting a quote and making sure they had availability for the day of my move and then scheduling with them they said they would contact me two days before my move to confirm. Well they didn't. Then after spending two days calling they finally answered and said they couldn't move me on that day j would have to wait until the day after!!!! Thankfully the person that bought my house wasn't set to move in yet. When they did finally show up and moved my things it went really well packing the truck up it was the unloading that went south. They tore both of my couches and then told me that to replace them they give 12 cents per pound so I would get 22 cents for my cushions. Six of the legs for my couches were left on their truck and after six phone calls they denied it, had their children answer the phone and then stopped answering all together. They broke my washers control panel, broke the power cord off my dryer, all of which I didn't know until going to hook up my appliances. They left half of my items at the house I was moving out of because the trucks were full and never went back to get the rest even though I was told they were and also when I called to complain about that it was denied that they were supposed to go back. They run their business out of their personal home completely unprofessional. I had someone's drink that was left in the back of the truck spilled all over my television and into some of my boxes. Luckily nothing was damaged just sticky from this. If you are in desperate need as I was, do yourself the favor save yourself the headache and pay the extra dollar for a different company. Or if you are going through social services don't even bother getting a quote from them to submit because they will be the cheapest they will be the one dss chooses and you will be stuck with them ruining your things and cost you more money in the end anyways. read more
