It's not the same today, technology and the economy taking society away from live bands, but I see Thorold Music as finding a nice balance to keep the love alive, enough to make me leave my home town of Welland to make it there. I also respect Leo, one of Als' sons who manages the store, as a keyboard player, and every employee there has shown a mature and talented ability on guitar. I wouldn't necessarily say "Woohoo! It has that old-school store vibe, but all the latest and greatest in everything. So much better than buying from a corporation and not seeing where your money goes. Service is great because all the employees are actual musicians and not college kids looking for part time jobs like the competition has. Keep the locally owned dream alive!
