My car was taken here after being involved in an accident and it took close to an hour just to be allowed into my vehicle to retrieve my property. The staff were not helpful or forthcoming in disclosing the information needed to release the car leading to multiple go-backs in relaying and retrieving information. read more

Illegally towed my vehicle. I wish someone with authority can do something about these scammers

This place is bad business, their rates are not applied fairly. The fact that they are contracted by a number of California police departments is concerning; the state of California needs to do better due diligence. We were charged for 3 days at $51.79 per day, but our car was impounded for less than 48 hours - doesn't add up does it? They claim they go off 'calendar days', but this is just a way of adding extra fees. We were also charged 1.5 hours for a tow truck fee of $219/hour, but our vehicle was on the tow truck for less than 60 minutes. Also doesn't add up, does it? I don't recommend speaking to supervisor Danielle as she unprofessional and condescending. read more

I was involved in a car accident on the freeway. My AAA SERVICE NEVER SHOWED. The CHP officer said they'd call their go to if I'd like as I was going to have to pay the tow service. The driver came, gave me a price, and I agreed, it was to be for a 1 hour service call. They hooked me up and towed me home. We arrived about 30-40 minutes later, that's when I was told I would need to pay for an additional 1/2 hours or another $100.00. This was a total scam! I was then given a firm to sign with no total on it. I refused to sign until total was written, whos to say they wound have not charged my card additional. I called as I was filing a claim with AAA to get a hard copy receipt and question the up charge. Go this date no callback and no receipt. I appreciate the tow in my dangerous situation . But I hope to ever require their service again. read more

This company is NOT GOOD. I was in an accident. My car got towed there. It's supposed to be $40 per day. After a few days, the other guy's insurance towed it to another place of my choice, which was fine. But this company charged for extra days my car was not there.... And since their insurance paid directly, I had no say in it. Secondly. here is it 6 weeks later, and I'm still getting a bill from them and a notice to sign over the car because they have solicited the DMV to sell it -- when the car is not even there. It's long gone from there! I called previously and kept being sent in circles on their voice mail. I called today and was told "don't worry about that notice from the DMV." I even told my attorney previously that I wanted to know for sure they were paid off so I didn't get a bill. It all seems very shady. I'm not one to ignore bills and notices.... and I am hoping that by ignoring this as the girl on the phone said that it doesn't somehow end up being a problem.... Very shady feel to this place. read more

They'll do anything to try and keep your car and charge you as long as they can. So rude, uneducated and unprofessional. The first time we called a lady gave us the price to get our car out. Then when we came in a rude red headed lady told us the receipts we needed to get it out. Then the third time we came back with the receipts a man (rude as f) told us we needed a release form. Every time we came back with what they asked for it was something new. GET YOUR STAFF STRAIGHT AND STOP SCAMMING US. You guys are pathetic. read more

It's such a shame when people figure out how to legally take money from people who don't deserve it. My dad has been driving for over 30 years so I really doubt he would "block a driveway" when parking his truck! Well Yesterday he parked and headed on to his normal work day only to come back and find no vehicle! He was concerned and upset and reported his truck as stolen to find out that his truck had been towed!!!! Like really?? He even recalls making sure it wasn't a street sweeping day let alone block a driveway!!! He had no other choice but to pay to get his truck back and even then this Tow truck rip off company was giving him a hard time obviously to allow time to run and charge more money!! Shame on you shame on you!! You should stick to being honest creates more business than a bad reputation! Would definitely be careful when thinking of using these peoples services!! read more

I should have written this review about a month and a half ago, but of course I kept putting it off. So my apologies to B&H Towing for not getting this done sooner. This company really bailed me out of a situation. Had to get a motorhome towed right away (on a Sunday night) and was working with a very small window of opportunity. Spoke to a couple of companies before calling B&H, and got "can't help you, call back tomorrow". The lady who answered the phone at B&H actually gave me the time to explain my situation. She explained that I needed a certain tow truck and that the drivers who drove that particular vehicle were off. She asked me to give her 15 minutes to try and make something happen. Well, she called me back in 2 minutes and let me know that she called a driver at home and that he was on his way. This guy took care of business and was really cool. And to top it all off the price was more than fair. This company is awesome! read more
