People are at their lowest of lows and she has absolutely no professionalism or kindness when dealing with customers. Let me tell you, Phil is a fkn beast. A 44ft gooseneck trailer got hung when Google maps took him up the hills in Glassel Park. These roads are near impossible to navigate with a truck let alone a hauler. The driver was from Kentucky and had no idea what he had gotten himself into. I was merely trying to get home when I saw he was in some deep shit and needed a helping hand. I stayed with him and helped Phil until 4:30am. Over 6 hours but Phil and I where determined to get this guy and his daughter outta this situation no matter how long it took or how crazy it was to move. If you ever need a tow company these guys r legit. I'm from miami where the tow guys are mostly all thieving criminals. But Phil is the man and be lucky to have him help in a shitty situation. read more

Had the misfortune of having my vehicle towed here after it was recovered due to theft. I was charged $320 to have the vehicle released from their lot even though I picked it up the same day it was recovered. (OPG has a 3 day grace period for theft recoveries before charging you) Unfortunately the vehicle was not running so I needed to get it towed to my mechanic in Burbank, they offered to tow it to my mechanic for $375. I refused the offer and told them I would be contacting a different company. The other company I contacted offered to do it for $180. Few minutes later the guy in the office was asking how much the other company quoted me and was suddenly willing to match their quote. Charging nearly $200 extra over the other company did not sit right with me. Despite the price match I still declined their offer and waited for the other company to pick my car up. Citywide is just another shady tow company trying to get as much money out of you as possible. read more

I'm sure everybody has heard this complaint before, but I walked in the door right at 10 AM. And was refused access to my vehicle and my personal belongings that may have been still in the car. My car was stolen and recovered roughly 11 days later. I'm paying all the towing fees and Storage fees on this vehicle. Even though I was the victim of a crime. The people that work for citywide tow are absolutely unemotional heartless sit on their butt, people who don't want to help anyone with anything. They have unreasonable short hours on Saturday and Sunday, 8 AM to 10 AM. Is this to make it harder to get your and rack up storage fees. And God knows, if you're not there. Whatever time they're going to cut off and decide not to help anymore people who travel from all over the LA area is an cold and uncaring act on their part. I've been without clothing for the 11 days that my vehicle was stolen, all of my personal belongings were in there, my clean clothes clothes that I had just bought all I wanted to do was get my clothes out of the and hold them up from being able to sit behind their glass windows and talk about (who knows what) because I know scedules and wanting to sit on your butt I was more fulfilling than understand the emotional and financial stress that most people who's cars have been impounded for what ever reason are under. I wasn't asking them to pull the car up for me that I was going to take it or try to take it or any of that. I didn't even have the money today to get that vehicle out of the impound. However, they declined or or or refused to let me simply get my bag of clothes, Very inconsiderate and heartless. So I'm sure with same uncaring flippant attitude they damaged my car even further than the people who stole it did. I'll follow-up with you and let everyone know if im wrong. I'll let you know because they didnt give a care on the phone and in person at the windows. There were 3 people, 3 men, 2 sitting and 1 standing at the window yakking away. Talking whatever they talk and all I wanted to do was get stuff out. I don't have the key. The Ignition was f***** u* and they refused to let me get my personal stuff out of the car. Added $91 a day, the 1st day cost 367 and because they won't take a debit or a credit card by phone from a friend of mine, it cost me another day, I did everything I could possibly do to get the full amount of funds for today which would have been 458 i believe or something like that, and I couldn't get it, that's my problem, not theirs. But again, folks, I was the victim of a f****** crime and right now. I'm simply tired of being pushed around and treated like s*** And treated like the person who did something wrong. Kudos to one of their staff, Danny, for extending his service last Saturday. My vehicle was stolen, found by CHP and was towed to Citywide towing. Their business hours was up to 10:00am only and I arrived there around 10:20...i spoke to Danny and told him i just want to check my car, he rightaway told me that he could show it to me even though its past beyond his shift. Worst towing place! Got my car stolen, called that same day and guy over the phone said it was $350 and once I got there, they charged me $489. And then when I asked one of the workers if he could please check to see if my car was drivable he said that I would need to give him an extra tip. Not helpful at all. Sat on hold trying to get a tow for 2 hours, waited an hour before I received an ETA, got the text at 6:50 indicating they would be arriving in an hour. So, I got an Uber, the first one was lost and cancelled, the second one was lost and late. Yet still, I was here by 7:30 to be present with the car when they arrived. They called called at 7:15 to let me know they arrived, I let them know I would be here in 15 mins as my Uber was lost and the ETA I received was 7:50. They cancelled the tow. I called them to ask why, and the man behind the phone was abrupt and rude. They will not respect you or your time. Give your money to a more valuable company. They're not worth a dime. read more

Premise: Got into a car accident. Called state farm and requested a tow. Tow truck came and drove it to their tow yard. Service: Top notch service. Got to the scene within 30 minutes. Tow truck driver was friendly, attentive, and inspected the situation. He called in the big guns (flat bed truck) to assist, because the rear driver side axle broke. He also told me that it would be better if I kept my car at his tow yard than to transport it to my house. At first I was hesitant, but when I saw "official police tow" which put me at ease. I have a 70 year old friend who's car was stolen. It was recovered but had damage to the front bumper, hood and radiator. I found out about this yesterday. I took him up to CITYWIDE TOWING to inspect the car. It started. It needs a new hood, new front bumper and minimal work on the radiator. It has been impounded for 19 days equaling $1,200 dollars in storage fees. I called and asked if I could speak with the owner in order to see if we could negotiate a reasonable impound price. They would not budge one bit. My friend is on SS and does not have those kind of funds. I believe I can fix it by replacing needed parts. I will be purchasing those parts myself. $650.00. I am really PO'd at the towing company for showing no empathy and refusing to even listen to my situation. This is what's wrong with the country today. The all mighty dollar takes precedence over any good deed. CityWide Towing should be ashamed of themselves. Hoping KARMA plays a role in your success/demise in the towing community! read more
