Converted from a old garage, and when compared to most other laundromats" this place is really big. When I arrived at about 08:50, the place already had several customers. Plus, another one walked in behind me (despite the long row of front loaders, the lady used the washer located right next to me). My washer seemed to do the job. But, no soapy water build up occurred. And, the timer was stuck in the starting time of 23 minutes. I believe this place is a bit more expensive than the other location. And, the Dryer cycle is 1 minute less, as well. The open doors, and blowers, made washing comfortable. But, with the Dryer positions, it got sticky pretty quickly. At least here, they have an attendant on duty. Not sure if I'll be back, or not. Especially, and considering, 2 more turns are required to get there.

As we pulled up to the side of the building, where the Donation Drop-off is, 2 employees came out with a shopping cart. So, I was just able to put the QS Mattress Topper, and a Day/Date/Clock, in the cart, and they took it inside. Normally, I don't shop 2nd hand. But, next time, when we have a bit of time, I'll go inside, and look around.

This has been the absolute worst contractor my husband and I have ever dealt with. They were…read morereferred to us by a friend. I spoke to Mr. Greene in April, and everything seemed efficient at that time. However, he failed to inform me that he sold the company two years ago and wouldn't be working on our well. It was actually another company even though he still works there and they are using both businesses' names (DJ Pumps is the other). That was mid-April when the contract was signed. They didn't come to our property until late June, without warning or communication. The crew that came did nothing but complain about how low Mr. Greene's bid was. Our neighbors' wells average 50 feet deep, but they insisted on drilling until 190 feet, admitting they would get a bonus the further they drilled, also knowing that would raise the consumer price. After a week on our property working very short days and not drilling properly, they gave up and said another crew with a larger drill would have to come out. In all honestly, they didn't know what they were doing and couldn't keep the proper viscosity for the well. There was over a month with not one word from them. I tried multiple times to communicate, but they refused. When they finally came back, they refused to run PVC casing, which would have again met the smaller bid. They never attempted, never communicated, and continued to run the bill up nearly twice the amount that it was guaranteed. Then, after drilling, it took them another 2 weeks before placing the pump. It took well over 6 MONTHS to get the well! I have a doctorate in business and have tried to explain to them how unprofessional they have been, but they refuse to listen and still refuse to communicate professionally and properly. So, I want to ensure others are aware. They pulled the same stunt on one of our neighbors, and if I had known the original business had sold, we would have NEVER chosen this company.

I would normally support local businesses, but practices such as this will only drive more people to online retailers. Everything arrived in perfect condition and we were never worried about our sentimental items. She brought a full crew and they were all careful, thoughtful and hard working. Nikki runs a tight ship which we appreciated. In addition to getting us moved she's been a wealth of information helping getting us settled in to the community. Hopefully this is our last move but if we ever have to move again she will be our first call!!

However, between the 25% (up to 59% at look), and a very serious health violation, at my old place, I started looking for people (private + commercial) who could do a rush move. During all phone calls, Nikki was friendly, and professional. And, on the initial call, she gave me all the pertinent information that I needed to figure out how much it would cost me. She also responded promptly, in sending me her cellphone number, for text communication. I then asked, When will you come by for Estimate Review + Packing assist? And, she replied, Either this week, or next week. And, I always confirm before coming out. Well, at the start of the 3rd week, she hadn't contacted me. So, in calling back, she said, We've been super busy (glad to hear). And, I'll be there this week (9/14). Well, as of 9/21, still nothing. And, no call, or text, explaining why. Then, yesterday afternoon, 9/22, I tried to call and leave a message. But, the Mailbox was full. So, I sent a text cancelling the 9/24 move date. As of 07:15 this morning (9/23), I had not received a response (despite the voicemail message saying, For faster response, please text me at 478-...). In addition, all 3 phone conversations were interrupted, and closed early, due to workload. Other than the initial text, my subsequent texts (2) were never returned. :-( So, I had to call to confirm she got the text, cancelling 9/24. She did. Now, I'm pleased that her company is so busy. But, not to reply to a customer's text is not good. I don't care how busy a business is. You respond to customer calls and texts. I recommend calling early in the morning. As, any later time will go to voicemail. And, by the early afternoon, the Mailbox will be full. I will keep them in mind for a future move (probably will move again. Just not sure when). But, and unless the initial conversation includes quoted price for Pack Assist (I can live with $XXX.00/hr knowing that), I do hope that scheduling Estimates improve.
