Five Star Service! James provided transportation for the Walter Anderson Museum of Art (Ocean Springs, Mississippi) Volunteer Retreat to New Orleans. The museum volunteers traveled first from Biloxi, MS via Amtrak to New Orleans. Upon arrival at the Amtrak station in New Orleans, the group was transported by James in his mini - coach first to Katie's Mid - Town restaurant for lunch, then to NOMA (New Orleans Museum of Art) and later, back to Amtrak station for our return trip to Biloxi, MS. I can't say enough wonderful things about James and the transportation service he provided. James was in constant communication with me in order to pick our group up at the Amtrak station the moment our train arrived in New Orleans, transported us around to our other 2 stops and performed it all very professionally and punctually. His vehicle is pristinely clean. I mostly appreciated how James was absolutely at our "beck and call", already waiting for us to board at each stop showing perfect reliability. James is amazing! we traveled to New Orleans for a family vacation and our party was split on flights. James offered his services to the first half of the party when they arrived and they accepted. my family was so happy with the services i asked if he would be willing to come back later for my daughter and I. He accepted! when we landed all we had to do was give him a quick call and he was there waiting for us as we got off escalators at baggage claim. Additionally I watched this one of a kind man go out of his way and find a lost piece of luggage for a prior patron and then let that patron know that he had acquired it. It was our lucky day when we found James at the New Orleans airport before our cruise. He took our group of seven middle-aged women, new to the city, all over, showing us the town. He made excellent recommendations about sights, places to eat, etc. When our hotel turned out to be sketchy, he helped find a new one. He makes you feel like he cares about you personally as people. James is simply the best. By that I mean he has the "knowledge" in that there is no street, no course, no road not known to the James. Things I have learned are he can get you a reservation to, I'm guessing here, anywhere in NOLA. We watched the event in real time, calling a 5 Star local restaurantuer on the fly and securing a reservation for two. Side note, we were a couple minutes late and James walked us in. I can't say enough good things about James at B&J Transportation. He was the best part of the trip! He was extremely communicative prior to arrival, and he was completely accommodating on slight changes to the itinerary. He drove around 11 of us from a graduate school studying the area, and he was so knowledgeable about the area - it was such a help. We went to NOLA for the Essence Festival 2023 and was picked up by James. He is very professional and personable. We were offered water as soon as we entered the bus.
