I was so immersed in and enamored by the art that it had that I genuinely wanted to get some information on who the artists were, and some general information on the gallery. So naturally when I picked up one of their cards and saw a website I figured that it would be the perfect place to get those facts. right? Not even close. If anything it was an exact copy of the business card. Same font, same logo, same color, same generic info. Really? If your going to go to the trouble to purchase the domain name and have a site, having one so basic for something which is filled with so much expression and detail just seems absolutely illogical. The only thing different was the fact that the website had a link to the gallery owners email address. I think I might be sending him a copy of this review. But extreme oversight aside the actual gallery was pretty fantastic. It had a prime location right by Race Street Cafe (although it was also hidden enough to the point that we wouldn't have noticed it if it was for the people walking out with wine glasses and the sound of music). And the art was pretty fantastic. they had supersized painting of semi familiar streets throughout Philadelphia and New York that I have walked through and cherished. they also had the work of an awesome illustrator/shirt designer that was pretty damn amazing. Think anime, meets sci fi, meets WoW, and you might be dead on. And his work was what inspired me to check out the website in the first place. Because McThrill was actually interested in spreading the word, getting the awesome name of his TShirt company again and it's interesting back story, and possibly making a purchase. Make it happen!

Buyer beware! Don't get printing done here!…read more I ordered grey business cards printed with white ink. Chris picked the paper and approved the artwork. I didn't get a proof and received grey cards with green-grey ink, gross. They looked horrible! I contacted Chris, and he said he would reprint them, but there was no way to get ink that would look white with the paper he picked. So why did he pick that paper out of hundreds of options!? Did he offer me a different paper? Nope. He just continued to argue with me in long emails, so I opened a case with Paypal. I order the same cards from a different press for half the price and received a proof that looks great. I'm sure he will post a lengthy reply to this which should evidence how frustrating it is to work with him.

My experience was fairly brief but satisfying (that's what she said). My husband and I were serviced within 20 minutes. This included consultation on framing and type of glass. The owner has a keen eye for what looks good. We had our own ideas in mind, but he made a few suggestions to enhance the matting colors and frame selection. We weren't the only customers in the store, but he was able to work with each group simultaneously, but not disruptively for either group. Not being in a rush, the estimated ready date of under three weeks from drop off sounded perfect. The frames was ready as scheduled. As others noted, the prices were market standard. Ultimately, my posters came out beautifully framed and I was able to support a local business. Picture perfect.

And I'm talking about 1 patch or embroidery service, not a full job that may require a few days to service. I had a patch made here, paid 30 set up fee, then 20 for the patch....she then charged me 5$ to sew it on and another 5 to move a patch to make room for the one she made because it was a little to big. My stuff was to be ready by 7, because they close at that time. At 7:30pm I receive a text telling me that my item is ready to be picked up. I went here because it was closer and have had to go back 3-4 times...... It's totally worth (time and money) it to drive out to Torresdale and go to BANG"S....Sean and Papa Bang takes care of your designs while you critique and Mama prints it up and sews them on and they DO NOT NICKEL AND DIME YOU.....may take 2 hours, but you leave with your items in hand and don't get Overcharged for their oversight. I amended my review based on the fact that Sue, has tried several times over the past 2 weeks to rectify the situation with her customer service.
