The most recent experience with Seven Arts deserves special recognition. An error in frame ordering delayed the arrival of the frame. However, upon learning of this, the group called me to explain what had happened and apologize for the error. They put a rush on the frame (at their expense) and the delay only ended up being 48 hours. When the project was completed, the owner learned that I was working all day and wouldn't be able to make it to the store to pick up the finished product, so he personally delivered it to me at work. I couldn't be happier with the work this group does and while I'm currently on a pause from purchasing anymore art work, any future pieces will definitely be framed at Seven Arts Framing.

They offer you complementary hooks afterwards and are very adamant in telling you to forgo command strips. You pay half up front and the other half upon completion, and they save details from previous projects so they are easily replicated at a later time. I have no idea how much custom framing normally is, but their prices seem reasonable. If you're willing to put the effort to get something custom framed, chances are you care enough about that piece enough to pay a decent chunk of change.

My original consultation was a fantastic experience, where I was guided through each decision of frame, mat, glass, etc with patience, expertise, and care.
