I was sent to this shop to do a dunk test on my rim and tire Annette, Bill, and the rest of the guys there were super nice, very respectful, which means a lot to me as a woman. Took their time, even showed me the tire in the dunk tank that there was no leaks, and when I asked why it might still be leaking one of the guys said you know what maybe we should replace the valve stem sometimes it gets stuck. They replace it for free and the dunk test for free. Which also meant a lot because I've had to put a couple thousand dollars into my van just this month and money is tight. I would highly recommend this shop. They are very professional very courteous. If I have need, I will be giving them my business in the future. read more

My daughter goes to college in Lakeland 40 mins away from us and had gotten a flat tire. We had AAA tow her car to a tire shop. They recommended another place downtown but I had found B & L online and loved that they were a family owned business that had been around since the 60's so I had them tow it there. I am so glad I did. I met the tow truck there and every interaction was positive. They were kind, they were quick and they were honest and fair in their assessment and pricing. It was recommended to me to come here by my good friend Ron who's been using B&L's services for years. Not only was the owner highly professional, his tire techs were awesome. There's very few businesses around today where you'll find the owner actually at the establishment. You can tell when there's good management and ownership when the lot is full at 8am and the employees are happy. I drove all the way from St.Pete for tires and am sure happy I did. My husband had a flat on his F150 and had to be towed to B & L Tire today with a flat. Our son has used them for years and recommend them. When the truck was off the tow truck the employee came right out. He saw the tire couldn't be fixed and right away he said we have a used one same brand. This is my second trip here for the same reason (flat tires) on 2 different tires. They are fantastic. The first time I went, it was relatively busy but I was in and out within 20 minutes. I wanted to 2 of my tires changed on my truck as one the aftermarket wheels had broken. I picked up 2 used rims and stopped in without an appointment. I explained what I wanted and asked when they could do it. The young lady on the desk gave my a price and said they could it right then. All I can say is, "Whoa!" I business travel around the state every week in a corporate SUV, and my driver-side rear tire lost pressure coming back to the west coast from Palm Beach County. Very, very happy I found this place of business. It was 430pm on a Friday and the place was busy, and had a 30-45min wait. The staff in the waiting area were very charming and even offered me a beverage, and the atmosphere was such that the customers that frequent this establishment are not only local, but from around central FL as well! The staff knew many people by name, and while there I overheard so many tire deliveries and call-in orders! Moreover, I couldn't believe how efficient the operation was for a non-corporate franchise; it was like a well-oiled engine (no pun intended). Before I knew it, the service technician came into the waiting room, and told me my vehicle was ready. He pulled out a 6" screw and patched up my tire for an extremely reasonable rate. I highly recommend this establishment. In fact, I may drive the 45min back from Tampa just to get new tires in the future. Do yourself a favor and visit this place for your tire needs! read more

21 minutes ago these people are unprofessional and thieves my girlfriend went there to get a couple of used tires she had one really bad one on the passenger side and one okay one on the driver side front they sold her two tires no better than the ones that were on there for $35 a piece plus $5 for balancing you can go to Walmart and buy a brand new tire for $43.11why would someone sell someone a tire and didn't even show them the tires first...???? just put them on her car and charge her over $100 for two shity tires she's going back tomorrow to get her money back...! Chris and the boys at B&L are top notch! Fast service and no up sell. I had Hankook tires on my infinity and was getting 20k miles tops. Chris recommended going to Toyo proxy 4s. They had twice the tread rating, and were a fraction of the price. I love good ole boy places and these guys are the definition. They have my repeat business for a reason. Originally took my car here for a FRONT END alignment. They refused to do it saying that my back tire wasn't in good enough shape. Hmmm.. Ok. So I paid for the new tire after the team went back and forth lecturing me about my worn-down tire, even though you shouldn't be worried about my back tire for a front end alignment... Moving on, I came back and they told me they couldn't align my tires due to a few issues. And proceeded to charge me $70 for a used tire and an "alignment rack fee" when I never got any alignment... Amongst these issues, they said I needed camber bolts. Upon researching the camber bolts, they're not a necessary component whatsoever of my vehicle unless it was modded and the suspension was lowered. So I waste another $25 for some bolts that have nothing to do with getting an alignment. I have now scheduled with Firestone for the same price and they're doing ALL of my wheels instead of just two. I will not be returning, and I found the customer service pretty rude. If you're a female looking to get your car fixed you should expect to get ripped off here. read more

Asked to have the 2 best of the old tires to be used as spares. When I picked up my car, I found them wrapped in plastic bags in the trunk. Thanks to the reviews! I went here because of the reviews I looked up and I wasn't disappointed at all. Fast, friendly, great price! Had initially went in to do a rotation and alignment. They noticed an issue with my drivers side front tire and let me know immediately. Now they could of just gave me an alignment, took my money and sent me on my way, but they were honest and said the alignment was pointless without things in proper order to being with.
