Although it was a relatively minor repair, everyone at Apex treated me with the same attention and professionalism I would have expected for a much larger job. Their customer is exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a beautiful waiting room, spotless restrooms, free Wi-Fi, snacks, and drinks. What impressed me most was how thoughtful the staff was toward my young child, who had to wait with me. One of the receptionists noticed that he was sitting there with little to do and handed him the television remote so he could choose something to watch. It was a small gesture, but a highly observant and considerate one! Once they brought my vehicle in, the repair took only about 20-30 minutes. Then, to my complete surprise, they told me there would be no charge. I would never expect a business to perform work for free, but their generosity made an already excellent experience even more memorable. Apex Vehicle Services demonstrated professionalism, kindness, honesty, and genuine concern for its customers. Finding an auto repair shop you feel you can trust is not always easy, but this is exactly the kind of local business I want to support. While it was there my husband decided to do a few upgrades and have the timing replaced. 2 months later they call us to let us know they dont have the software to program the computer. We had to have it towed to another shop to have that done before taking it bck to mps to be finished. 3 weeks later I called and asked when it might be done that my dad had been life flown and was undergoing 911 brain surgery and I needed to get to uab. 2 days later we were told she was ready. I hadnt had her for 7 months at this point while making 800$ a month payments on her as well as tag renewal and insurance payments ... needless to say I was excited! It was 550 pm on a Friday when I got there he had left the key in a lock box. By the time I made it home (less than 50miles) my check engine light and almost every other light came on. Over the weekend my dad under went more surgeries that I was unable to to there for. Monday I brought it to the mechanics attention and he told me to bring it back up there and he would look at it"when he could get to it" I told him I didn't feel comfortable doing that that I really did not think it was driveable. He told me he would come look at it when he got off work that day. Before closing time I text to ensure that he was coming and he told me that he would be working late that day. That was the last that I have had any type of response and my phone calls to the shop have gone un answered. I refered to the invoice and receipt to see what kind of warranty they would fulfiil and realized that they had charged me for five quarts of oil in my car. Im not very auto savvy but I know only 3.5 go in her. Which would explain why oil is literally sweeping out of every where it can. My husband text the mechanic still no reply. When my husband spoke with the owner he said we could have in towed bck up there and they would get around to it. I feel like it is partly retaliation because we had and unexpected expense that put her upgrades they had begun on hold for a few weeks. The owner wasnt happy about our delay but even after I paid almost seven thousand dollars they kept it another 2 or 3 wks.... why? Replacing the electronic throttle body. Now here we are almost a week after getting her and I have no way to the shop nor the ability to have it towed yet again. All in all between a rental, getting my back up fixed, payments and insurance so it didnt get repoed this entire experience has cost us somewhere north of $16,000. And to top it off, my dad gets out ofbthe hospital tomorrow and it physically hurts to know that they are considering calling Uber .... and they live an hour and a half away. Its beyond sad i can't help my parents the only time they have ever asked because I gave people who obviously couldn't care any less every penny I had and then some. ( i had to pawn the title to the bck up because it was 1200 more than we were originally quoted too)

Little did we know that they didn't do transmissions, and they not only didn't fix and/or replace, they said they sent our transmission to another company. As of this date we had cancelled the payment, only to give them one more chance to rectify their errors. Car never was fixed and now we have to go to court. It was an American made vehicle. Nothing crazy or computerized. They should've told us that they didn't do transmissions, we would have used them if we had other problems just because they were honest. They aren't honest, and it's sad when you try to give a small business chances to fix the repairs. It's now November, and there is not transmission in the car. Now you tell me if this business is worth any stars.

The Express Oil location here in Macon, GA said the belt slips to the edge when it's driven a tiny bit. Then when it rains the water coming up under it let's it pop right off. Yesterday was the first time I have driven it again in the rain since the repair in January so I didn't happen before that. Express Oil here in Maco, GA honored the warranty the company has, so it reduced the bill a tiny bit. But I still had several hundred dollars out of pocket and time, and towing.
