I want to start this off by saying they have been great folks to work with over the years. I spent a lot of money and worked with them almost exclusviely with both of my families cars. But my last exerience was one that I cannot help but be infuratied by. I had an issue where my 2012 Highlander AC went out in July and it was $2700.00 to fix. So I agreed and they did the work. When I took the car in the heater worked fine and prior to the AC going out the temperature control worked without any issues. They "fixed" the AC and it blew ice cold which was great for July. I noticed immediately that you couldn't regulate the temperature at all but life was busy and in hindsight I should have turned right around and took it back in. Fast forward two months when I had a blowout, I took it back in and alerted them to the issue's (no temp control and heater is out). They mulled it over and said it was a completely different issue and wanted another $2700. If they had test run the system after "fixing" the AC, they would have noticed something was off. Or maybe they did and just pushed it out anyways? They claim to warrenty their work but that didn't hold up here either. No attempt whatsoever to meet me in the middle. Nothing except a "sorry, completely different issue so another $2700.00". Not a good look Rob'e Man's. read more

Very satisfied with this maintenance work. I recommend them. The team went out of their way to complete the brake pads and rotor replacement on my Subaru in a timely manner. Gave good explanations for the parts needed and the process. Answered all my questions. I even received a complimentary service. The entire process for having my 2013 Acura ILX serviced was wonderful! I inquired about front axles through the website. All of my questions were answered & I felt great about having my car serviced at Rob'e Man. I have never had my car serviced outside of the Honda/Acura dealership. The price was extremely reasonable compared to Honda/Acura. Rob'e Man saved me over $1000. They were able to get the parts and install them within a week of my initial inquiry. Honda/Acura needed a minimum of 4 weeks and encouraged me to 'drive like a grandma' until they could get the parts in hand. I did 'drive like a grandma' from Huntsville to Homewood and had my car repaired with Rob'e Man. I was back on 65N heading to Huntsville within 2 hours of my arrival. I highly recommend anyone with a Honda or Acura to give Rob'e Man Automotive Service your business. It's worth your time and saved money! read more

My son is going to UAB and his car broke down. He took his 2006 civic here and the priced him $629 to install a alternator. That is extremely high The labor for that job is only about 1 Hr. You can buy a brand new altenators all day long for for between 100 to 150 I would never use this shop or recommend it to anyone. May do hood work, I don't know but the price he quoted my son is 2 to 3 times higher than other shops read more

Had one due for a cross country move; vehicle had ~100K miles on it; asked them to do appropriate service, and any prophylactic work. Cost was very reasonable, and no breakdowns on the 2800 mile trip. And in fact, 3 years later, doing well with minor things like a battery change or new tire. Took my overheating '02 Subaru Outback to Rob'e Mans. The service department looked into several possible issues that can cause a car to overheat before reaching a conclusion. Unfortunately in the end, it turned out to be bad head gaskets at an expense I was not willing to put into the car. Rick was very helpful and knowledgeable about my Subaru and charged me a fair price to perform the diagnostics. They offer a service via text that provides information on their diagnosis in details with photos, prices to repair and an option to either accept or decline service. It's all automated and easy. I had not slept in many days ( over 4) and want him to know how much I appreciate his Professionalism, honesty, and time going over everything on my (Major) 1999, Honda CR-V SUV car service, and all that was needed. I have 87,981 miles on this Honda CR-V SUV, and it was time for major service again, such as T-belt, other external belts, and everything else needed with the big 90,000 mile service. I also needed expensive new front rotors and new front brake pads as well. I had shopped around and they were willing to come down a little on price, but needed all the help I could, since I am physically disabled due to 23 Major Spine Surgeries, and live in Chronic Spine Pain and a very low amount of S. S. Benefits. Thus, to keep my vehicle in great running order, My family ( sister from Decatur, Georgia) of Honda user's always gives Rob'e Mans Automotive the business. They have been doing my Honda autos for many years, since they were new in Homewood, Alabama. I appreciate Mr. Eddie Cleveland in his great business and well trained, and Certified, mechanics. I also appreciate him giving me a ride to my parent's house in Homewood, since so much was needed to do on my Honda CR-V SUV, I ended up spending the night at my parent's house, since I told them to take their time, and was able to pick it up the next morning on November 13th, 2015.
