I called Brackens Painting and Kevin met me, provided me a very reasonable quote (as I was paying for the painting out of my own pocket), and was able to find one of his crew members that could have it done immediately (a lucky thing as they are usually booked out three weeks at least - thank you Mother Nature for the thunderstorms that opened DJ's schedule). DJ did an amazing job, was great to talk to, and played some amazing music while he worked. :) He took great pride in his work and customer satisfaction was key. He did not leave until I was satisfied. I can't wait to decorate for the new school year and spend the next portion of my career in this room. As you can see from the before and after pictures, the room is fresh and bright. The shadows and lighting with the original paint just made the room dark.
