Low hanging wire

We went there. It looked like 3 buildings. There was no signs where to go. Is this someone's house and they run the business in the backyard? The rating is so low because I was not able to locate the place and the building we thought it was didn't answer neither did they answer the phone. Please note there was a long hanging wire that could easily hit any lift truck. Seems unwelcoming to guest...

They charge $10 per person to go in gate to pick cherries and $5.99 lb. Not worth it. Can get them cheaper at market on sale.

My family and I enjoyed our experience at Willowbrook Apple Farm! I signed up for their newsletter…read morein order to get reservations for the farm, and found it to be a fairly easy process. The $45 per person covers entry, in addition to one apple cider can (a pretty large one), an apple treat (we got apple pie made at a local bakery), and a bag of apples. We got there about half an hour before opening and were one of the first ones there, which was helpful when choosing/picking apples as later on the farm got busier. The apples were a fair size--lots of damaged ones but I'm sure that means they don't use any pesticides or anything. The farm also had two cute and friendly kitties that came up to us! Overall, I would recommend this farm for a nice little getaway from LA city life. I would recommend booking a reservation and arriving early, as parking can get packed and the farm does get pretty busy.

We bought 2 bags ($25 each), which they said could hold around 6 pounds of apples each. I loved picking apples at this farm! In the past we went apple picking at one of the nearby, bigger apple farms, but we enjoyed this one a lot! It's smaller than the more popular ones nearby, but I liked how it wasn't crowded. We were able to take our time picking apples, and we were able to find lots of red, juicy apples to bring home! There was a cute, friendly cat on the farm along with a pig and 2 mini horses. The scenery nearby was so pretty, and there were plenty of trees to pick apples from. I really enjoyed my experience, and would love to come back next year!

The entire place is set up like colonial America, and the attention to detail is incredible. All of the staff stay fully in character the entire time, and their costumes are beautifully made and very detailed. It really adds to the whole experience. The farm itself isn't your typical farm,it's more of a historical village with different stations set up to demonstrate things like candle making, crocheting from that time period, how the judicial system worked, and even the types of games people used to play. One of the highlights was the Revolutionary War reenactment at the end, where the kids actually got to participate as soldiers. It was such a cool experience and also really educational at the same time. I went as part of a school group, but you could definitely visit on your own and still have a great time. The food was good, but the baked goods were the real standout -- fresh breads, pies, cookies, homemade ice cream, shakes... everything tasted amazing. I also liked that you can order ahead online and just pick up when you get there. The staff were incredibly patient and kind with the kids, even when they got a little impatient, which I really appreciated. Overall, it felt like being transported back in time, and I would absolutely love to come back again.

Depending on when you visit, you might get lucky and see one their their reenactments and period dressed characters walking about. We appreciate that parking is free and there is no admission to walk the farm. Definitely check out Riley's Farm website where you can get all the details and see their calendar for events, though. Schools, parents, and individuals can book field trips and various fun educational activities of all sorts. Our personal favorite has been the "Old Joe Homestead Tour" (which is $25/person and lasts about 2 hours). Always a great time at Riley's Farm.

I think I'd much prefer not paying for parking or for admission! I'm writing this review after attending their Mother's Day weekend preseason festivities. Parking is paid for alongside your admission ticket. It was free on Mother's Day as long as you paid for parking. It wasn't room bad, but the gravel and dirt road isn't friendly, so beware. There are plenty of things to do while at the farm. They have plenty of food and fun things for the lavender festival. The Farm itself has a hotel, sourdough area, perfume class, a matcha room, and two bars you can sit and drink in. I'm giving it the stars that I am because I'm not a fan of their food. Their drinks here are decent, but I feel as though the workers here are burnt out. It's definitely packed on every corner with a lot of people. Even when taking photos with the lavender, it's busy and a bit overwhelming. It is a lovely concept overall, and a nice experience away from the busy city.

Casa Solano Orchards is a spot we added to our list of "must do's" when we come to the area again. It's owned and operated from their own family home. The cider options were all delicious, the family made you feel so welcome and happy you were there. There was so much room to hangout & grab a drink! Dont miss the seats by the creek or balcony seating! There is truly no bad spot. They had music playing, a childs playground, yard games, orchards to walk through and pick during the season... we will absolutely be back!

The orchard was beautiful and had lots of fruit to pick. They had a couple of different varieties available, some that were really sweet. Right when we got there, we were greeted by friendly staff. Apparently they're known for their ciders, I think specifically the hard ciders. We got the flight and my favorite was the guamica, guava flavor. It was amazing ! They also have non alcoholic drinks available and a bbq vendor there. Great for a nice meal. I really liked the place even though it was a smaller orchard because I feel like it embodies what I'm looking for when I go to an apple orchard. It's immersive and nature-y with such great vibes. It was quiet, bright, and peaceful. Everywhere else I stopped by was WAY overcrowded and stressful, but not here. It's family owned and it had that personal touch. We had a chance to speak with the owner, and he knew so much about apples and was so friendly. This place was definitely my highlight of Oak Glen and I'm looking forward to go back.

I visited this country store after apple picking since my friends and I were craving apple cider…read moreand my experience here was pretty good. The apple cider was good, but I would've preferred it to be colder and not served in a Styrofoam cup. I'm assuming that's because it was the end of the day and it looked like they were running out of apple cider and other materials. I also got the apple cider popsicle for $2 which was a good deal. It was good, but I didn't like how the juice separated from the water during the freezing so it tasted like regular ice by the time I got to the core of the popsicle. For food, I tried their Strawberry Banana Sweet Bread and that was my favorite thing! It was not too sweet and moist. It was $6.50, but not too bad for a whole loaf. The interior was fun and rustic. There are several things to shop for from different baked goods to nic nacs. The service here was pretty good and the staff seemed nice and personable. There's some parking out front as well as some picnic benches and tables with nice views of the mountains and foliage while you enjoy your treats. Overall, a good stop for some casual shopping and to enjoy a sweet treat if you're ever in the Oak Glen area.

Low-key and charming, with some unique surprises. Chief among them, the craft apple cider cocktails. I got a mule and my daughter and wife got a tasty, smoky Bourbon revelation in a glass. Go to the creek at the back of the property and listen to the water go burbling along over the rocks and through the brambles. We were there early (just short of 11 a.m.) so it wasn't too crowded.
