Our family came on a weekend morning and we had a relaxing and enjoyable visit. Parking is a bit limited but we were able to find a spot in the designated dirt lot. I've heard the lines for their apple cider donuts can get long so we came early on a weekend morning to beat any potential crowds, and we were able to easily and quickly get a couple dozen of their delicious mini apple cider donuts which were soft and sweet. Forewarning, their tiny size makes it perfect for overeating, but no complaints here as they were delicious! There's a decent sized outdoor area with picnic tables for seating. It's mostly shaded from the trees and beautifully decorated with string lights. After we enjoyed our donuts at the picnic table, we walked around the grounds and looked at the apple trees, and also perused the country store which offered samples of their delicious cider and slices of their crisp and tasty apples. Perfect Fall activity and we can't wait to come back next year and make this a tradition.

Apple donuts (dozen): Not a big fan of the donuts they were soft and fluffy not crispy. Per my Asian sweet tooth, this was too sweet for me so I could only eat one donut while having my water bottle on the side. Tip: Price was reasonable, but Apple Annie's has a apple donut stand open during Thanksgiving time which sells $1-2 lower. If you go earlier than Thanksgiving then the stand might not be open. Parking lot available, no charge. HOWEVER, there is tight road to drive to the parking lot. I would recommend to go at nonpeak times because the cars entering the road are pretty much driving off the edge of the cliff.
I LOVE these donuts! I visited last year and drove the almost 90 miles from LA again just for these donuts this year. They are so airy and light! I could eat a dozen of these. I highly recommend making this your first stop while visiting Oak Glen. P.S don't wear a floral or fruit scented perfume. The bees were after me XD
I went on October 5, Sunday and arrived around 10:30 AM. Parking: the main parking lot was full but there were still spots on the left side on the dirt road/path when you go through and past the main lot. We went around the loop twice and the second time, we were able to secure a spot in the main lot. The parking is busy, but people are generally in and out so don't let that intimidate you. Service: the cashier who took our order was standard, regular-- nothing to note! That makes sense though, the line can get long so they're probably trying to get people in and out. Ambiance: the line was out the door when we arrived and we waited for 15 minutes which wasn't bad at all. When we came out at 11, the line started wrapping around the building. Loved that the store let you try fresh apple samples of many different varieties. The store also sells ornaments and holiday trinkets. It was so cute inside! Food: 1 dozen mini apple cider donuts (1000/10)- they were sooooo good! Hot and fresh because they're literally made fresh in front of you. The donut itself tasted so good and it paired so well with the cinnamon sugar. The flavor of the donut reminds me of the flavor of the powdered donuts but the texture is different, the texture is better (light and fluffy rather than dense and cakey). It's soo good that I wish I got more and I plan on going back just to pick up donuts cold apple cider (10/10)- nothing extraordinary to note, but it was good. Very fresh and refreshing!

Perhaps the first weekend of Apple season isn't as busy. The weather was however super hot. We've usually gone mid September when the weather is cooler but the crowds are definitely there. If you find yourself in Oak Glen be sure to make a visit to Snow Line. Visit their lovely shop go to the back room and try some apple brandy and pick up a bag of apple cider donuts. Parking is free however the lot is small. Lots of benches outside to sit on and some shade underneath some trees.
Marker a favorite in my book. So much fun and such a cozy little fall spot. I would travel around the world for their mini apple cider donuts and apple cider slushies. Sure the line might be long but they are worth it!!! I love the homemade salsas such as the pineapple mango salsa and apple butter they sell. There are so many delicious items for sale. Up the hill a bit there a vendors and some fun games, even a tiny petting zoo. Super cute for kids! It's usually hot every time we go so check the weather! Love the decor around the farm ranch. Everyone is always very friendly. I will be back!!
TL;DR - their apple cider donuts are DELICIOUS! I've been here twice over the last 5 years and I'm so happy to rediscover these donuts. Their apple cider donuts are so good that it's too bad that I can't get them anywhere else! If they made these available in other parts of socal then I'm sure they'd go even more viral. They make them fresh on the spot and you can even see them being fried. They're soft, warm, sugary, and taste just like apple cider but in a donut form. I wish I bought 3 times as many donuts!! This place also has other things for you to purchase including gallons of apple cider. It's a really nice place to hang out and eat with friends. Nearby is the popular apple picking farm as well as other fruits and veggies. I heard you can pick raspberries on this property but we didn't do it (we saw the raspberry bushes though!)

The orchard has a quaint, rustic charm with lots of character--quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by picnic tables where you can sit and take it all in. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and we especially loved meeting Slate, their resident cat and unofficial employee. He has a collection of beanie babies and clearly runs the place. It was $10 for a basket to pick berries, which felt very reasonable for the experience and the amount you could collect. Definitely recommend grabbing a dozen of their apple cider mini donuts too--they were $8 and so worth it. If you're looking for a chill, low-key day in Oak Glen with some unique charm, this is the spot. We'll absolutely be back.
I don't like donuts much, but these were so tasty! And so fresh, you can watch them being made in real time to the side. The apple ciders were also all so good too, they had samples of all 3 of them and a variety of apples they sell, and I personally liked the cherry apple cider one the most. I've heard there is a long line, so come early! We went and got here around 10:30 AM on a Monday, so there wasn't much of a line. Definitely stop by if you're planning on visiting Los Rios Rancho! It's very close by.

It's not my first time visiting Snow line but it has become a tradition to stop and get some apple cider donuts anytime we are up in Oak Glen. I believe it was for something called the apple butter festival that brought us up here again. Cool weather and the peaceful quiet is what you expect from Apple country. I love that snow line has a ton of parking options and a beautiful shop to browse with everything from hot apple cider donuts, two wines and more preserves than you could ever imagine! Literally off the beaten path you can sample apple cider as well as their fun berry variations. The apple pie is absolutely massive if you decide to get one and take it home! I highly recommend grabbing yourself a bite and sitting beneath the trees outside to soak in the peaceful vibes! read more

Snow-Line Orchard is such a cute, quaint store. We found it while we were supposed to go apple-picking (it was off-season). You come here for two things - apple cider slushies and apple cider mini donuts. My kids absolutely devoured the mini donuts and inhaled the slushie. My husband and I went back at least two times. The nice gentleman who kept helping us said that it was like déjà vu. read more

Fresh, warm mini donuts..what's not to like!? These donuts are delicious and addictive. We made a quick stop to grab these and enjoyed them outside on their benches under the trees. Super good. A dozen is recommended. read more

Line is long for donuts and apple cider slushie but it moves fast! Parking is usually okay if you go early meaning before 11 am arrival but of course it all just depends. Donuts are yummy and the slushie is delicious. Plenty of space to walk around and sit and take pictures! read more

Stopping by Snow Line Orchard to get apple cider donuts and an apple cider slushy is a must-do when you're in the area. I headed over right when it opened before heading to Los Rios Ranchos and it was such a fun little stop! There's a small store inside the building where they sell the donuts and cider, along with apple and apple cider samples. There's a good number of picnic benches outside and it's such a perfect start to the day when the weather is nice. read more

Super long line for the donuts but for good reason. The little sugar apple cider donuts were so fresh and fluffy. They were perfectly sweet, spiced and hot. The cider slush was also so good on a hot day to accompany the donuts. Definitely worth the wait!! We also got to sample some of the different apple varieties and the two ciders in the store. Be patient for parking and be aware of the many harmless bees! read more
We love coming to Snow-Line any time we visit Oak Glen. It's the kids favorite stop because they get fresh apple cider donuts! It's my husband's favorite because they have the BEST apple cider - I love the cider float! And it's my favorite because it's such a homie feeling there. I love sitting under the trees drinking hot cider and enjoying the gorgeous views. If you're lucky you'll hit a day they have live music playing! They have an olive oil tasting area and a wine bar tasting area! I haven't had the chance to visit the wine bar yet but it's next on my list! If there's not someone in there working I believe you can ask an employee and they can let you know when the next tasting is available. Make sure you peruse the shop as well. They have tons of homemade items - food and craft related. They have tons of pickled foods, fresh fruits, olive oil, honey, jams, jellies - you name it! I love their decor options too. They have such cute holiday items. Yes - the lines can get really long for the donuts if you come on the weekend or holidays. But for me it's absolutely worth it! And I always suggest no matter how many donuts you think you want - get MORE! They are so yummy and even if you don't finish them they are a great cat snack for the ride home. read more

Great place and definitely family friend! Would highly recommend those to COME EARLY! The early the better because as we left around 12:00 PM - it will be packed with parking everywhere. Planned the whole day to get here by 8:00 AM and was worth it! Donut were phenomenal and had so much sugary goodness! I've been here three times so far. Once a few years ago and twice this month. There's no parking fee and it's fairly easy to find the orchard with all the signage. We were here on October 6th and by around 9:20am, I was probably third in line to purchase their famous donuts and cider. I got a half dozen donuts at $4 and a cider slushie $7. They have some picnic tables in the grassy area and totally dog friendly. We are also in raspberry season right now and you can pick them yourselves here too. I came here again this past weekend with my mom. With forewarning from my friend from work who was here the day before, we got here before they opened to avoid a long line. I got in line around 8:51am and was probably 6th in line. By the time it was 8:55am, another 15-18 people were behind me. This time I shared a dozen mini-donuts ($6) with my mom and we got two hot apple ciders at $5/each. It was cooler this morning compared to last time and the hot ciders were so delicious. We really enjoy our time here and the donuts and ciders are definitely worth the wait. read more
Here is a great place to visit for all the autumn lovers, like me! If you are looking for a autumn ambiance with beautiful mountainous scenery, leaf color changes, warm cozy fresh apple cider, and freshly made warm delicious apple cider donuts, this is it! Living in So Cal all my life, never knew a place like this was close by, just one hour drive from Orange County. Nice drive up the single lane road through the hills, felt like I was transported to a different place. We passed by a small town setting, having a farmer's market event. Amazed to see how crowded this place was, difficult to find parking as parking lots were quite full and the single lane roadsides were packed. Once we arrived at our destination, realized apple picking was pretty much done for the season. So we went to an unplanned place, Slow-Line Orchard, found it be hidden off the main road. So glad we did! Loved the coziness of this place, including the novelty storefront with a bar in the back, live music band playing by the barn, and outdoor sitting area. After a bit of a wait in a long line, we got our fresh apple cider and freshly made apple cider donuts! Enjoyed eating this sitting outside on benches under the beautiful trees, soaking up the crisp air, and listening to good music. Loved this experience! Will go earlier next season to actually do some apple picking! read more
Great autumn family activity for apple beverages, ciders, donuts, or a slice of apple pie with ice cream $8. There is cider sampling and also at the balsamic vinegar and olives section. Little cuties running around in cowgirl boots or hats. They have hard cider too. Line up for apple donuts- so soft, warm and yummy. The aroma is so decadent while you wait in line to order. Many 4 legged family members too. If you can spare a 2 hour drive in late September you can buy a variety of apples and pick your own raspberries. read more

I visited Oak Glen, California specifically to stop by Snow-Line Orchards to try their apple cider donuts- I was seeing it on TikTok and it did not disappoint. What I appreciate about this place is that it is very family friendly. Lots of families and dogs were here to get into the fall festivities. We came about 30 minutes after it opened and there was already a line out the door. Pros: -lots of foods and drinks to try. The apple cider donuts were good even the next day! -there is a shop where you can purchase everything from Christmas ornaments to balsamic Vinegar to even jugs of apple cider if you want to skip the long line. -when we visited, there were 3 apple ciders samples to taste -there are seating areas outside along with music to enjoy your food and drinks -parking is free Cons: -none! read more
Snow-Line Orchard is a great place to hang out and enjoy delicious Apple Cider Donuts and a refreshing Cider Slushy. The apple pies are so good here that you can buy them in slices, with ice cream, or a whole pie to take home. The prices for the drinks and the treats are reasonable as well. The last couple of times we visited during the weekend, it got busy after 11:30 am. Parking can be challenging, but we've been able to grab a spot after a few minutes. The weekdays should be lighter on crowds, and the foliage is amazing during the Fall season. The gift shop has plenty of fantastic and fun merchandise, all-natural apple cider available in various sizes, local wines and wine tasting, treats, and more! You can also pick raspberries if they are in season. You'll have to pay for the container before picking, but it's a fun option for the whole family. A DJ played songs to keep the lively mood while everyone found a place to relax and enjoy the weather. read more

Great time! Only about 1-1.5 hours from OC. Easy drive. We went during a busy time of year yet there was still available parking. The leaves were beautiful fall colors - several great pack drops for a quick family pic. We enjoyed delicious fresh made donuts (not greasy) and hot apple cider. There was a gentleman playing guitar and singing. It was great! If you in fall/winter wear warm clothes. read more

After a long day of performative apple picking, we made it to Snow-Line Orchard right before closing. The building itself is the very picture of autumn - a rustic mountain farm barn-style shed with red painted walls worn down over time. The line stretched out of the large open doors all the way to the peach trees in the back, but moved relatively quickly. Inside, the air was filled with a jovial atmosphere as workers laughed and bantered with local customers. Unfortunately, the hot apple cider was all sold out as it was later in the day, but the apple cider slush was still available. The apple cider slush was cold and refreshing. In hindsight, I think I would've preferred the slush over the hot cider anyways because it was a relatively hot day in October. The bright side of coming late, however, was getting extra apple cider donuts since they were trying to get rid of them. We took our bag of mini-donuts to the outdoor picnic area and tore them apart. They were delicious! The donuts were hot and fresh out of the oil and dusted lightly with a layer of sugar. The most remarkable part was how they tasted just like apples. I can definitely understand why people stop by year after year. read more
Snow line Orchard has become so popular with tourists flocking to this apple picking region in the fall season that parking itself is a bit of a tussle. Our patience was awarded though with a parking spot and we were able to get out and enjoy the farm. The line for the cider donuts was wrapped around the building, although it moved surprisingly quickly. Kudos to the people manning the register for its efficiency. That being said, the donuts are nice, but nothing to write home about. I do think the best apple cider donuts I've ever had are to be found in Camino, California. I definitely enjoyed the adult drinks. Got a drink from the outside bar called a witches brew. That was quite tasty and I enjoyed sitting outside chatting with my friend. We also ended up chatting with the people who are nice enough to share their picnic table with us. Seating is at a premium so come prepared. I'd say my biggest complaint however that brought this to three stars on the review was the snow Line pickled asparagus that I bought in their store. The inside of the pickled asparagus is all stems which are hidden by the asparagus heads around the outside. All the stems are too rough to actually eat and you definitely feel ripped off after spending $12 on a luxury item to discover only a third of it is what you actually want to eat. read more

Lovely place! They don't offer Apple picking, but you can do raspberry picking! We went a few days ago, and while a lot of the berries had gone bad, there was still many edible ones if you looked and lifted the branches. The mini donuts are delicious, as well as the Apple cider slush! I would recommend to buy the apple cherry cider/juice to bring home! It's so good! They have many different pickled items and apple butter/jams to choose between. read more

I've been to snow line orchard a few times and everytime it's a nostalgic and comfort feeling for me! Parking at times can be tricky especially during the weekends but you can usually find a spot if you give it time. They are definitely known for their apple donuts and apple cider and both are a must to get ( that's why the line is so long lol). But that's not all they have. They have small trinkets, wine tasting in the back, coffee or cocoa and other goodies you can purchase. I love the seating outside under beautiful trees and ever changing leaves. I do wish they had a few more restrooms though. The line gets long for it at time since I believe there are only 2 or 3. The staff has been always friendly and helpful if needed. This place is definitely a must stop when visiting Oak Glen. read more

It really depends year to year. It's all about Mother Nature and the weather. Usually it's late October or November.

Hello. Our u-pick raspberries begin in August and usually go through September and sometimes October. We are not a u-pick orchard for apples.

How much is apple picking?
We are not a u-pick orchard for apples, but we do offer u-pick raspberries during that season, which is typically August through September and maybe even early October if we're lucky.
Do you have to make reservations to pick apples yourself?
Thank you for your question. We do not offer u-pick apples at our orchard, just raspberries when in season. Our berry picking season is over for the year and will pick back up in June or July. Many of our neighboring orchards do allow apple picking.…
Are you open during the weekdays? Are you open on Veteran's Day, Friday, November 10, 2017?
We are always open 7 days a week from 9:00 to 5:00 through apple season, which is Labor Day weekend through Thanksgiving weekend. The only day we close during that time is Thanksgiving Day.
Is apple-picking offered?
Not at this location but lots of places nearby have apple picking.
Are Friday's in November busy here?
Friday's I'm November are normally not to busy. Most week days for the entire season are pretty bearable as compared to the weekend.
