Make sure to count the number of items you bring in. They will give you a ticket that shows 6 items (correctly) but when you pick up the ticket will be modified to 4. Then the clerk will call you a liar and not even admit it was a mistake. read more

If i could i wouldnt give any stars due to the terrible service and experience I had. Went here a few months ago to have my uniform dry cleaned. Since I work in a restaurant there are lots of stains from being in the kitchen/dining area and our management asks that our uniforms (shirt and apron) be clean and heavy starched. That's what I requested when I dropped off my uniform. I also asked how soon it would be ready and they said the next day by noon. I was pleased since I had them dropped off around 10AM but I was wrong. I come in the next day around 3 and they said uniform not ready. I pointed out they said it would be ready by noon but they made some claim saying their "truck" hasn't arrived and asked me to come back tomorrow. I figured maybe something happened so I come in the next day and my uniform had no starch and only a few stains were removed. I asked them why they didn't remove everything and where the starch was. They kept saying "clean" and "there's starch". I kept arguing that it wasn't as they kept repeating "clean" and "there's starch". I had to pay unfortunately but realized that this is one dry cleaner I will not be using ever. Word of advice: stay away!!! read more

I had stopped going to this place as the service was incredibly rude and overpriced. I decided to give them another chance and brought a white blouse especially because it had a stain on one sleeve. When I went to pick it up, they let me pay and THEN pointed out that the stain was still there. No apologies, no offer to give me a discount on the failed cleaning, nothing! Horrible place!!! I brought a pair of sports pants to be shortened and when I picked them up, they were ironed just like dress pants with a line. I told the lady that these were sports pants and they shouldn't have a line same as dress pants, but she told me right the way that they didn't do it and she didn't accept to iron them without the line! Lesson learned - read reviews *before* visiting a business. Kindly attempted to get an alteration quote, but the seamstress said it couldn't be done because the material was "cut off". There is an excess of 4" of material, so I was politely trying to understand, and instead of answering my question, she kept telling me that "you don't get it", quickly growing louder and ruder. Here's the thing -- a couple other businesses already told me it could easily be done, they just couldn't turn the service around to meet my timeline. DON'T GO HERE. If you're looking for accountability, honesty, class...don't go here. I brought a dress with a belt in to be cleaned. The dress came back without a belt. I went to the store to see if they had the missing piece. "Oh, you didn't bring this in with a belt." "I can 100% guarantee I did." "Me too, I can 100% guarantee you didn't" Folks, I know I brought it in with the belt. And instead of just acknowledging that yes, they might have lost it, they looked me in the eye and accused me. Do not use this cleaner. When I picked up our clothes and got them home, I realized that they smelled really terrible - disgusting in fact. I took them back the next day and the lady said that she will try to get the smell out ... try?! Went back to pick them up and, while better, they still smelled, but she kept saying "it's fine, it's fine" - it's not fine and hopefully my clothes arent ruined. Since I now have to take them to another dry cleaner, I asked for a refund for the cleaning and she refused. The worst part is that upon researching the smell, I found out that it is because they dont clean their detergent filters as they should so the solution used to "clean" the clothes is full of dirt and scents from other people's clothing - gross. read more

Unfortunately, I had a very similar experience to Nova P. I've been a customer essentially since the shop opened, but I'm done. I dropped off a navy blue short sleeve peasant blouse and when I returned they tried to give me a light blue linen tunic. When I told them that it was not my shirt, they insisted that it was and that I take it home with me. I refused to take it home and proceeded to describe the shirt I brought in - they informed me that this was indeed my shirt because they tagged it as mine. After several minutes of arguing with them, they agreed to hold on to the shirt and let me come back in two weeks to see if someone returned my shirt. Yet when I walked in two weeks later, the same conversation ensued. "This IS your shirt." I insisted that it was not and left. Another week later, I returned with a picture of the shirt I brought in which is clearly not the same. And another staff there continued to argue with me that the picture I brought was inaccurate and that the wrong shirt was absolutely mine, that they described it in their system properly, and identified it with my account so it must be mine. At this point, I had lost my cool with her and after raising my voice with her and insisting that it is absolutely not my shirt, she accepted the photo with my phone number and said we will check on it. I give one star and only because I can not select ZERO stars! The had lost my pants, and would not even want to admit it. My receipt stated that I had dropped off 10 pieces of clothes. When I came to pick up my clothes, the receipt attached to my clean clothes stated 9 clothes. When I asked what happened, I was told they miscounted my clothes upon drop off. - what? I have requested refund, 3 days later, I am being told that the manager needs to approve of my refund! Don't go there, they are dishonest! read more

Extremely poor quality of service and unbelievably rude!!! B&T Dry Cleaners is by far the worst cleaners I've ever been to. The staff is really rude to the point where they make you feel as if you're inconveniencing them by walking in. On multiple occasions they've failed to remove stains from my shirts and when I bring the items back to be cleaned again they argue that the stains weren't there when I picked them up. It got to the point where I had to inspect every garment to make sure they were stain free before leaving. The straw that broke the camel's back was when I took a pair of slacks to be altered. I don't know why I was shocked when I tried them on, at the cleaners changing room, and saw that they weren't to my specifications. Of course she didn't let me try on the pants until I had paid first. When I requested a refund they refused. Needless to say I'll never be going back there again and my advice is to stay away!!! read more

I've been going here for over 3 years now, I believe, and I have yet to have a complaint about my experience. I have used B&T for years and experienced courteous and quality service. This good experience has come from the owners, that have regularly been there. Recently, however there has been a change in personnel and the service has deteriorated significantly. The staff seems to have little concern for the customer, is often rude, and actually left me to believe that they would prefer not to have customers. I have been a customer of theirs for the past 5 years. I too noticed that certain things did not come back totally clean, but I overlooked it in the name of convenience (I can walk to the store from my house). Recently, I brought in a brand new, bright green silk blouse from Ann Taylor to be cleaned. I spilled sauce down the front of it. I picked up my cleaning, and as I always do, I ripped off the plastic when I got home and hung everything in my closet. 2 months later, I went to wear the blouse again and noticed that everywhere there was sauce, the green color was very faded. Whatever the cleaners used to clean the blouse bleached it out! I took the blouse back to them, thinking they would do the right thing and reimburse me for the blouse (which I wore once) or at least give me a credit for future cleaning. They first tried to tell me that it was bleached from the sun (there are no windows in my closet, FYI). Then they tried to tell me that since I didn't have the slip for it, that they had no way of knowing it was cleaned there. I made them look through the computer, and it was there, but cleaned a few months back. She just kept shaking her head "no" at me, saying that too much time had passed. They all know me and know that I've been a customer for a long time. I even have had mine and my daughter's pants hemmed there. I reminded her that I was a good long-term customer, I've spent quite a bit of money over the years, and I've never had a claim before. She just kept saying "no". I told her that I couldn't continue to be customer there and walked out. Here's the lesson - if you get your clothes cleaned there, scan everything when you bring it home (who has time to do that??) and save your drycleaning receipts. You've been warned! read more
