What is a bit bazaar is that the only difference between a regular shirt and a tall one is an extra inch in the body and sleeves. So, what is the additional cost to justify the up charge? Ten cents? But hey, businesses are allowed to charge whatever they want, of course, and, in the end, they kind of did me a favor. After I quit them, I found an excellent dry cleaner nearby (University Cleaners). Better service, no discriminatory up charges for tall people.

I needed to have a long wool coat dry cleaned. I was quoted a price and given a time frame to stop by and pick up my coat. I'm not familiar with prices, but I was quoted $27 for a full length wool coat and a week turn around time (just wanted to give a reference, in case it's helpful to other people). I didn't mind the long turn around time because it wasn't really an urgent matter for me. There were no surprise charges or extensions on the time for the service. My coat came back and is as expected. This location was super clean and organized the couple times I have come in. The lady, Jenny (spelling may be incorrect), that is there was really friendly and approachable. I have also observed her interact with other customers, and I've only ever witnessed pleasant interactions. There is ample parking. The location is also in a safe area close to George Washington University Virginia Science and Technology Campus. There are restaurants and other shops and services nearby. They offer alterations as well, but I have not had any need for this service. Should I use it in the future, I will update the review. I will most likely continue to use their services when I need it.

Got a receipt for $1.45 a shirt. Great. Picked up one week later. Now they are $4.95 a piece because they are ladies blouse. Um, no, they are cotton button down shirts. So you are telling me because I am female you cannot treat my shirt the same as a man shirt? I call BS. Called and spoke with guy whom I presume is owner. He was so unhelpful I was stunned.
