The gentleman was the only one who cared enough to respond, and not only did he call back, he gave us his business address so he could take a look and see if he could help. Who does that anymore? And not only did he help--he hand-crafted a key from scratch. No spare, no code--just pure skill and experience. He was incredibly patient and persistent, working through every little challenge until the key was perfect. You can tell he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about people. Thanks to him, we didn't lose a whole day of our trip--and we were back on the road with our bike running like nothing happened. That other service cancelled on me day before move. I called Rockport Moving, who was busy but they said they would make arrangements to accommodate me! Rockport Moving stayed in close touch with me via texts and phone calls and showed up on moving day on time! I am so grateful that the guys were there! They were both so calm and kind and humble and helpful despite my mother (Alzheimer's dementia and confusion) acting out and constantly asking questions and bugging them! They were so patient and kind to her! They were careful with everything and nothing was broken! They lifted heavy things and were mindful of the walls and careful with the furniture! I would certainly rehire them in the future. When chatting over the phone, it seemed the job would cost a little less than ended up costing. However, as I already wrote, they earned their money. The initial estimate was a little bit too low.
