I I am submitting a formal complaint regarding an incident at your restaurant and a pattern of repeated order mistakes. I have a documented allergy to cheese and have repeatedly received incorrect orders containing cheese. Most recently, this was the third consecutive time my order was prepared incorrectly despite ordering only two burgers. When I entered the restaurant to address the issue, an employee with a red tattoo on the side of her face immediately stated, "Oh, they got your order again," before I had said anything about the problem. The comment was accompanied by what I perceived as a smirk, which suggested that the repeated mistakes were already known. After entering the restaurant, I was left waiting at the counter without assistance. Because the order was incorrect and I could not safely consume it, I offered the food to another customer seated inside the restaurant. The customer accepted, and I wished them a good day before leaving. As I was walking out, the employee approached the customer's table and removed the burger from them, even though the food had not been touched. This escalated the situation into a verbal confrontation. My concerns are: Repeated order inaccuracies involving a food allergy. Apparent awareness by staff that my order had again been prepared incorrectly. Lack of customer service when I attempted to resolve the issue. The unnecessary removal of food from another customer after I had already given it away. The employee's conduct during the interaction. I understand that management may have policies regarding food that has left employee control. However, the manner in which this situation was handled was unprofessional and escalated a situation that should have been resolved calmly. I have been informed that video footage of the incident exists and request that management review it in full. I would appreciate a response regarding the outcome of that review and what steps will be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future, particularly concerning food allergy-related order errors. read more

Keep reading about this place as places to try in Iowa. I live in Iowa City and they don't have it here. Picking up a friend from Des Moines airport and I finally see there's one right by there. We stop -we go to the drive-through. The options are extensive and we get burgers and fries. They mess up my burger and put ketchup and pickles and all the stuff I don't like, but it was still good. And my friend burger whose order was perfect said it was amaze. 4 starts because they messed up my order. It's good. But not cheap. The newly remodeled Drive thru makes the turns and aisles easy when ordering one of my favorites Pork Tenderloin. The portions are breaded with goodness on a well sauced bun with fresh lettuce. Ordering was easy at the drive up with the newly well designed menu boards -- where a friendly voice takes your order. The total environment is well lite which makes driving safe to maneuver. The prices are still $ reasonable in comparison to other food chains. This was a little stop we made for lunch over our weekend visit to the area. We used the drive thru service and the gentleman who were running the show were MORE than AMAZING. We had let them know we'd never been, they gave great recommendations as well as the friendliest service I have EVER received at a fast-food place. It made me wish we had a B-Bops where I am from. This location is conveniently located right down the street from the airport. The restaurant is set up like an old school diner plus a drive thru. I went inside to order at the counter since I had never been. The people working there were very nice. I went with a basic cheeseburger combo. This is one of the best fast food cheeseburgers I've had (I'd say it's a top competitor with In-N-Out). It was also very filing and came at a good price. I will say it's very messy with all the toppings and sauces! I like how it comes in a styrofoam container - this makes it easier to eat in the car. The fries were comparable to McDonald's but less greasy (which isn't a bad thing - they are addicting!) Merry Christmas from the nickel and dime incompetent poorly managed restaurant I shall never visit again in my life. They have the signs up that say "try our new chili". They are obviously competing against Wendy's. But unlike Wendy's, see a receipt attached below, B-Bops employees are stupid, their management is incompetent, and they were arguing amongst them selves for several minutes about how much to charge me for some extra pickles. Please note when I went to Wendy's after leaving B bop's, they charge me nothing, and there was not even a debate or topic on it. The little counter girl who was probably barely 18, press the pickles button, and it charged a 0.00. There was no debate, I didn't have to argue with them, they put my cheese, and my pickles in a cup, and it wasn't a dinky little cup. The B-Bops morons spent more time arguing with me and each other then Wendy's did just making my order happen. We have a choice, and my choice will be to never do business with this company again. I will forbid all of my employees from turning in any receipts from this company. Customer service is the only thing that matters in the 21st century. You failed. Anyone can fry a burger. Bbops be comin' up! This is new location off Fleur Drive is probably the best tool in bringing in out of towners that are wondering what the heck a Bbops is as they pass by, since the restaurant is pretty large, the lights are flashy & new, and is just right down the street from the airport. I ordered via drive-thru. My order came out pretty quickly, and my fries were cooked fresh and were piping hot (gotta love fresh cooked fries!). The cashier at the window was really personable and seemed to be happy working where he does. There is lots of seating at this location, unlike the dedicated walk-up/drive-thru at the one on SE 14th. No more scarfing your burgers outdoor in the frigid snow or rain - yes! Again, my fries were cooked fresh, the veggies in my burger was crisp, cold and fresh, and I could taste the charbroiled flavor in the patty - so come here if you want fresh fast food! They do a good job of serving big juicy burgers and greasy French fries. This location was clean the day I went and the staff was all smiles. I also didn't think that the workers were very friendly. I felt like they kept rushing you. I was pretty disappointed in my visit. So to add a twist to this, let me compare it to a place like Five Guys, where I had friends and coworkers just going on and on about those burgers and fries. Five Guys - what a mess. I might as well have made my own burger and fries, it would have been faster and WAY cheaper. Not at all impressed (think I'll do a review of them, too). B-Bops blows Five Guys out of the water, as far as I'm concerned. You pay something like $8 for fries, a drink and a double cheeseburger and you'll not only be full, but it will taste great! I mean yeah, I get it - how much more can I really say about this place? Well let me put it this way: I challenge you to find a better hamburger, fries and shake for this price. And I've been to all the fancy Smashburgers, Fudruckers, and Five Guys, etc. B-Bops does the job in an unassuming, high quality, unbelievably awesome way every time. They also have the typical outdoor table for when the weather is nice. I will admit, it was a little weird not to have a walk-up window. Delicious burger and fries. After reading the reviews about B-Bops we were hoping to be "wowed" however, the burgers tasted like the fast food from Burger King.
