The thing that impressed me the most was where other shops in the area were installing secondary market parts in their quote, Complete Auto installed original OEM Ford parts and in particular the Ceramic brake pads that are critical in the Ford design to prevent/reduce brake dust and brake squeal. Being a retired Ford Engineer I know how critical this is and annoying it can be to a customer if any of these issues pop up later after install. This was the primary reason for me choosing this business over the others. The other key thing I liked is that the owner showed me the old parts after my repair highlighting the poor job that the prior garage had done on my old brakes giving me confidence in that I had selected the right garage to do the work. I have bought tires here, and I have had them do routine maintenance on my vehicles, but after my…read moremost recent experience, I'll never let them touch one of my vehicles ever again! I brought my Jeep Grand Cherokee here Thursday afternoon to have the wheels balanced and rotated, and I asked them to check the alignment. I had to leave the vehicle with them overnight because I was told they needed more time to correct the alignment. On Friday afternoon, they called me and said your vehicle is all set. I picked it up, and by the time I got it back to my house, I could hear something clunking around in the front end, and my steering wheel was not straight at all. I jacked up the front end to investigate and realized the lower control arm was loose. I called them and they said we are very sorry please bring it back. I had to leave the vehicle overnight again. Saturday afternoon, they called and said we have tried to fix the alignment literally twelve times and had three different techs look at it, and we can't figure out how to fix it. They suggested taking it to a collision shop to make sure the frame wasn't bent, which didn't make any sense to me. As I drove home this time, the steering wheel was not straight at all, and a light came on saying to service the electronic stability control. See attached pics. Monday morning, I dropped my vehicle off at a different shop and explained what had happened. They found that the lower control arms on both sides had been moved to the outer most position, and we're not properly torqued. They corrected this and aligned everything properly. The frame was not bent, and luckily, no parts were damaged. The vehicle now drives straight down the road again with no issues. It cost me $224 to fix what Alltire screwed up. Save yourself the headache and take your car to someone that knows what they are doing!!

We took it in and after telling us they can't fix it, they returned it with a check engine light on. This light was not on when we parked the car. They refused to fix it or even fully diagnose it without charging us more money. If the light was on when we dropped it off we would have asked about it but we didn't because it wasn't. They never mentioned the light to us at all until we got the car back, saw it and asked about it, and they said 60% of cars they see have lights on so they don't always say something. It's a mechanic shop! Why wouldn't you tell people what is wrong with their car and offer to fix it? Isn't that solely what you do? Also 60% of cars seems crazy high.. It feels like they were just hoping we wouldn't notice. We took the car in with one issue and got it back with two. What a horrible experience. From now on I guess I'll have to take a video of the dash and car with a time stamp so i have concrete proof of how it went in. That's crazy that i should have to do that.

We next took our car to Painless Autoworks,. The vehicle was thoroughly checked out and test driven, which took them quite a bit of time. They found nothing wrong with the car, whereas this established tire dealership franchise was trying to charge us thousands of dollars for unneeded work. We later found out that we were not the only ones who experienced high estimates for unnecessary work at this firm. I asked the gentleman at Painless Autoworks how much we owed them for their time. He said we owed "nothing." In a time of bad customer service, dishonesty and greed by some businesses, I feel blessed to have found an auto repair business that I can trust.
