Three and a half weeks later, after multiple calls from me, they said we have a quote for you. GREAT!! Progress. They sent me the quote for $2000 to rebuild a carburetor (That I could buy brand new from Summit for $716), change the sparkplugs, sparkplug wires, and change out coil. I spent a large part of my life working in garages and could do all of this myself easily, but was willing to pay a reasonable price for someone else to deal with what I decided I didn't have time for. I asked them what they charge per hour and they said $150, so I assume they think it takes approximately 11 hours to perform these tasks......at worst, it would take me around 4 hours to do this myself. Needless to say, at that rate I'd rather do it myself. So I told them don't work on my car, Ill come pick it up. That's when they sent me an email informing me that they spent two hours putting my quote together therefore, I owe them $300 and I have to pay cash or check before I can get my keys. I have nothing good to say about this shop and I feel like they are scam artists and everyone should be wary of them. To shamelessly try and bill 11 hours for that is preying on people that don't know different. Steer clear.
