My wife is very hard to please when it comes to massage. And Bashia is her go to person. She says Bashia is intuitive and caring. And that B is able to find all the places that need worked on. My wife has fibromyalgia and is in pain a lot. She says B is one of the only people that is able to give her relief. We drive an hour to see Bashia!! read more

I am a licensed massage therapist who tends to use somatic release techniques, stretching, and Reiki to get down to the issues causing pain and stress, and then melt them away. I often find myself giving ergonomic advice for work stations, and homework activities to help out sessions last longer and help you feel better even when you can’t see me.

History

Established in 2000.

I received my Massage Therapy license from the State of Ohio Medical Board in 2000. I have worked at various salons /spas, wellness centers, and a chiropractic clinic, from Akron to Howland. I have certificates in Somatic release in clinical massage, and am also a Reiki II Practitioner. I offer cupping therapy, stone massage, and I may occasionally use various tool’s (scraper, roller, etc) during sessions to maximize benefits.

Meet the Business Owner: Bashia C.

A lot of you may be more familiar with me as ‘Barbara’. Well, fun fact, I have NEVER liked that name. So I picked a new one! I hope to make it a legal one soon. I grew up an Army brat never staying anywhere long. Even went to four different high schools in three different states. Forever the ‘new kid’ even as an adult, forever a transplant. My sister gifted a massage to me for my 16th birthday, and that’s when I knew. I was amazed at what can happen when a skilled therapist touched me and was able to effect like it did. So I finished high school, appeased my parents by going to a community college for a year, and then promptly drove from Texas to Ohio to attend the National Institute of Massotherapy in Akron. I received my license from the Medical Board in 2000, and have been doing the work in various establishments since.
