BD Beans is such a cool spot! I tried their salad and it was honestly amazing--fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of everything. You can tell they use really good ingredients. The inside of the café is super artsy and fun. There's so much character with the decorations and little touches everywhere--it feels like a place you could hang out in for hours. Unless you actually have been in or live in The Villages. So.... BD Beans to the rescue ! This place has a pretty good local following. They are super busy as well. Cute & Kitschy Decor. BD Beans is a quirky little cafe that has their act together. What a pleasant lunch we enjoyed (9 ladies) and all of us loved our choices. They have a fabulous tomato soup that I highly recommend. Love this place! Love it! Though I did want to stop one day and even though I kinda remembered where it was and kept my eyes peeled for the sign, I still drove by and missed it! Funky, quaint coffee shop with breakfast and lunch and amazing crazy huge desserts. I was in Heaven devouring the coconut cake. Omg. They bake them all right there. After soaking in the delightful vibe that is B.D., you can meander next door to a sweet little shop that's kinda new agey with rocks and crystals and interesting items. I love this place. I can only describe it as a proud independent, and an awesome dive bar of a coffee shop! Very eceletic art deco everywhere, stuff that doesn't usually go together just thrown together....like a chandelier hanging off an old oak tree. I drove 20 minutes out of my way on an impulse to come here, I'm really glad I did. This place is down the road from the markets of marion flea market so my neighbor and i went there after shopping the flea market for breakfast-- a bit tricky to find it sits back off the road but we found it-- looked a bit run down on the outside so we were hesitant to go in but glad we did -- adorable inside very artsy eclectic food was good i had an omelet delicious potatoes sadly were cold not even warm i think they forgot to warm them before placing on plate- the black forest bread and homemade jam were delicious-- had a cappuccino with breakfast -- i would eat here again and recommend if in the Belleview ,Fl area read more

This place is very unique to the area. You get the coffee house/Artsy Bistro feel in here. Healthy fresh menu. Great for Breakfast or Lunch. You feel like your at your crazy Aunt's house when you go here. This is a must stop if you have never been. I've been coming here for 10+ years. Still the same. I order and pick-up from them 1-2 times a week. The Mocha Latte is great, my Mom loves the egg salad sandwich and I love the mushroom goat cheese sandwich. This place was sooo cute! It was easy to get to and easy to park. My husband went here to finish some homework recently while I went to meet a client in Ocala/Belleview area. It was quiet and they come to you..it's more of a cafe than a coffee shop. My husband got a plain begal and black coffee for $5. Decent deal of you ask me. The waitress was kind and the place was clean. They also have a verrry cute outside area. While it is by a busy 4 line road, there are trees blocking the patio from the noise and the road. read more

After a long time of wanting to stop at this place (but always missing it) my partner and I took my mother here to pick up some coffees for the start of our day trip. From the moment the woman at the register asked if we were dining in or taking out and I said we were interested in ordering some coffees to go, the attitude of the woman working the register took a nose dive. She was very short with us and the other staff and would walk off in the middle of us ordering. Another employee tried to talk to us and be friendly, but the first woman returned, interjected and said "I'VE got this." I felt bad about NOT dining in (like I was being a bother) and tried to compensate by buying some items from the baked goods case. The woman continued to be surly as we listed the items we would be purchasing. To be fair, the chai tea lattes and carrot cake we ordered were wonderful but overpriced and the tea was from a concentrate. Everything else we ordered was a disappointment- we got several pieces of various flavors of biscotti (6 or so) and they were all underwhelming and did not taste particularly fresh. The muffin we ordered was similarly subpar. I felt very uncomfortable during my visit like I was burdensome or inconvenient to the employee throughout our entire exchange. Walking away having spent roughly $45 at a coffee shop (having intended only to get coffee) for largely mediocre goods while being treated like a bother is not an experience I wish to repeat. It's disappointing because a lot of the other staff seemed very friendly and like they were trying to compensate for this one woman's curt, disdainful attitude, but anytime someone else would try to step in she would promptly cut them off and dismiss them as quickly as she tried to dismiss us. read more

This is a coffee shop that serves breakfast and sandwiches at lunch. It's a bit difficult to find if you're not familiar w/exactly where it is. I ordered the artichoke melt sandwich and I inquired to the server if the artichokes on it were fresh. She replied yes. When I received my sandwich, this wasn't the case. Also the cucumber slices on the sandwich were marinated too. If it had been listed on the menu, I would of not ordered it. Two marinated items on a sandwich? No way, Jose. The pasta on the side was tasty however. Service was less than average as I had to get up a couple of times to help myself because I could not get service.
