Every to go cup of coffee comes with a hand written scripture! Ours today was 1 Peter 4:8: "Above all, love each other..."

***** Yes! ***** When in Ocala it's a must try! GREAT atmosphere! GREAT Service! We had the Vegan Breakfast Burrito! (AWESOME!) The Chick-Pea Salad(AWESOME!) The Americano Coffee. We were taken care of by Sarah the owner, refreshingly Friendly! A place you want to spend your money even if you're not hungry! Courtney, the cook, delivered the food! She was awesome!! We'll be back!!!! PS: They have 4.7 Stars!!! I demand a recount :p ... This is 10 star place for sure!

This is probably my favorite Cafe in Ocala and yes it definitely deserves all the praise! When you walk in this place is warm and inviting! So relaxed with everything just saying please just come in you're welcome, feel free to stay and visit for a while. You can sit quietly or come with others and have a peaceful conversation. If you'd like bring a group who would love some good food and coffee. There is WiFi if you need to sit and concentrate on your work or school. This cafe is just that place that lets you feel at peace and so very comfortable while enjoying anything you choose to order that is always served from the kindest people working at The Gathering Cafe. Today we ordered an Americano, a Caramel Macchiato and one of their famous Cinnamon Rolls! Soooooo scrumptious but oh my their sandwiches you must come and try the Croffles they will have you wanting more ( 2 pastry croissants pressed into a waffle iron ) either topped with powdered sugar served with maple syrup or my favorite the Nutella and Banana Croffles! Nutella and Banana stuffed between two Croffles topped with whipped cream and oh my chocolate powder ! Let me tell you, you'll never look back! The Gathering Cafe is a must place to visit, I promise if you love good food, coffee, and that happy place to be this is it. Be sure to come by it will make your day that much better ! I love this spot! I was looking for a coffee place during my visit in Ocala and found this gem! It is a Christian coffee spot as it has a lot of Bible verses throughout the cafe, which I absolutely love. There is also a mini market place with tshirts, accessories and more. The staff was very friendly, the place is beautiful and everything looked so good! I ended up getting a Chai Latte and a lemon blueberry muffin, which were both delicious. Next time I'll be trying their breakfast menu for sure.

Adorable coffee shop great little breakfast spot for some coffee and a quick bite. I have only been once, but I'm looking forward to going again.

Food & coffee was delicious! Coffee was pretty good, but the breakfast burrito was 10/10.

Love the concept, coffee and conversation. Friendly and attentive customer service and the coffee was good. Plenty of seating and the upstairs is a plus. I always visit local coffee shops and this is one that I would recommend and come back to.

Latte here, breakfast on the way!!

One of the nicest places in Ocala to have a breakfast or lunch meeting. It truly is the Gathering Cafe. Food, Coffee, Service all full of love. I appreciate them so much. Everything is good and it's even better inside. What a cool building.

Staff is very friendly. Sarah was great. Love the atmosphere. Not super loud. Plenty of space to work. Great WiFi. Food is delicious. Yesterday I got the breakfast burrito and customized it. Delicious. Today I got the strawberry banana smoothie with peanut butter and protein. Delicious!

While Ocala has many good coffee shops that serve good beverages, The Gathering stands apart with its peaceful ambiance, personal service and superb products. From Biblical scriptures on the drink glasses to the thoughtful decor, it is what most coffee shops want to be. The pastries selection is excellent! They also offer other breakfast and lunch options that are prepared quickly. On-street parking is available in front on Broadway and lot-parking available behind in a shared lot. Construction nearby slightly limits access from downtown, but a short detour to SW 2nd Ave takes you to the rear lot. Carryout is available, but treat yourself to the full experience by staying long enough to exhale your stress and find your smile. Seating is available on ground level and in the specious area upstairs.

I truly expected nothing less! The food was fantastic and the latte was delicious! I got the Maple Breakfast Sliders && a Banana Foster Latte. There is a second level, where i got to read my Bible a bit and even filled out a prayer request. Everyone was absolutely friendly, and the vibes were so peaceful. Can't wait to go back!

What a find! The Gathering Café has that small-town charm you just can't fake. Great food, generous portions, and a warm, welcoming team that makes you feel right at home. The perfect brunch or coffee stop when you're in Ocala.

This was most interesting... Apparently deeply religious, with Jesus oriented art, quotes adorning the walls. They moved to this space which offers a bright open feeling. Seating at the bar at the window, lobby tables ir upstairs all around the atrium. You order at counter and get your table number, followed by food and drink delivery. The servers sure get a workout running up and down the stairs! The coffee was ok, the egg and bacon plate slightly different than expected...one slice of toast underneath (see pic). My wife's wrap was very good. Parking can be a bit of a challenge in the busy downtown area, but a solid spot for breakfast or brunch.

The dining room is large and open with plenty of seating, including both tables and booths. Service was a little slow, but with only two servers working, it was understandable. They serve Coke products, which is always a plus for me. I appreciated being able to order the turkey club without any sides since I don't eat large portions. If you're hungry, the sandwiches normally come with two sides. I also ordered the French toast ($7.56) with no extras. It comes topped with powdered sugar, but I opted out. It was served on a small plate with no room for anything else. The French toast was made with standard bread and egg batter--nothing fancy, but it was prepared well and tasted good. The turkey club was substantial and satisfying. I would have preferred it cut into quarters like a traditional club sandwich, and the ingredients should have extended closer to the edges of the bread rather than being centered. It also could have used a bit more turkey. That said, the sandwich was juicy, flavorful, and tasted exactly like a turkey club should. Overall, a solid meal with generous portions, plenty of seating, and a comfortable atmosphere.

Stella's continues to impress with fresh ingredients and absolutely incredible bread. I wasn't sure since it being 2 years since I was here if they would have the breakfast I had last time. I was surprised they did have it so I ordered the Spanish Egg Breakfast, which came with arugula, chorizo, heirloom tomatoes, ciabatta toast, and a preserve. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the chorizo added a great smoky-spicy kick, and the heirloom tomatoes were sweet and juicy. The arugula balanced everything out with a slight peppery bite, and the ciabatta toast was just amazing--crispy on the outside, soft inside, and perfect with the preserve. I also had the Jamón Serrano Sandwich & split it with my bf. It was just as good as it sounds. The jamón serrano, manchego, and basil pesto were a perfect combination--savory, nutty, and herby--all sandwiched between that same incredible ciabatta. Every bite was fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service was friendly, though the wait was a little longer than expected. Still, the quality of the food made up for it. Definitely won't wait as long to return next time!

It looks like a store from the outside but I did see someone sitting inside sipping wine so I was intrigued. As you walk in, there is a spacious seating area at the front of the store. Then it kind of transitions into a market store. There is a counter you order food at and pay for items. There is a small bar with seating next to that as well. We browsed the market items and picked up a couple of items. We went to the counter to pay and that is when I realized you can order food and drinks. If you order something that takes time to prepare, it is brought to you at a table. Since I ordered a glass of wine, I just waited there for it and went to sit. Hubs retrieved a beer from the fridge. The owner was the individual we interacted with and he was very pleasant. There was constant traffic the entire time we were there so I hope that means they will remain in business. The prices were not too crazy and it is a perfect place to have a drink and/ or gourmet snacks. I definitely want to return and try other items on the menu.

Now owned by the proprietors of Scrambles, we're glad they kept the iconic name even if there's a new menu. We drove in and parked in the back where there are stairs leading you to a back entrance. We were immediately seated in a booth along Silver Springs Blvd./Hwy 40 and noticed how good the sound insulation was. The place looked clean and new, and our server, who worked for the original Wolfy's for 14 years, acknowledged that the place needed some refurbishing. After looking at the menu, my wife ordered the Southwest Avocado omelet with hash browns ($13.39) (they didn't have grilled potatoes because they were closed for the 4th of July our server informed us) and I tried their Eggs Benedict Arnold with hash browns ($13.29). My wife also ordered coffee. My wife loved her omelet commenting how fluffy the eggs were and how flavorful the sausage, fire roasted corn and black beans were. She also liked the fresh lime cream and avocado slices topping the omelet. The hash browns were meh. My eggs Benedict were good. While the hollandaise sauce tasted good, it didn't look as creamy as the better sauces I've had. The hash browns were not hot and didn't seem freshly prepared...it was our least favorite part of our breakfast. All in all, a good dining experience, although we'll avoid the disappointing hash browns the next time we visit. Breakfast for 2, with tip, came out to just over $37.
