Would not recommend to LGBTQ+ people. Traveling from Orlando to ATL and did not realize this place would have "Faith and Family Month" posters everywhere. I didn't even initially assume it was a hate campaign until my sister mentioned it's an anti-pride month initiative. It's sad because the staff seems well intentioned and the coffee/food was fine. I just can't recommend this place as being an open-minded and respectful place for lgbtq+ people. read more

This is probably my favorite Cafe in Ocala and yes it definitely deserves all the praise! When you walk in this place is warm and inviting! So relaxed with everything just saying please just come in you're welcome, feel free to stay and visit for a while. You can sit quietly or come with others and have a peaceful conversation. I love this spot! I was looking for a coffee place during my visit in Ocala and found this gem! It is a Christian coffee spot as it has a lot of Bible verses throughout the cafe, which I absolutely love. There is also a mini market place with tshirts, accessories and more. The staff was very friendly, the place is beautiful and everything looked so good! I ended up getting a Chai Latte and a lemon blueberry muffin, which were both delicious. Seating at the bar at the window, lobby tables ir upstairs all around the atrium. You order at counter and get your table number, followed by food and drink delivery. The servers sure get a workout running up and down the stairs! The coffee was ok, the egg and bacon plate slightly different than expected...one slice of toast underneath (see pic). My wife's wrap was very good. Parking can be a bit of a challenge in the busy downtown area, but a solid spot for breakfast or brunch. read more

Cute little spot in Ocala. Those are hard to come by in this area so this definitely gets a FIVE STAR rating. Food is amazing....especially the Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll...wow! But everything we tried, we enjoyed. It was also quite nice to see positive messages throughout. Written with a sharpie, you'll have a scripture or some sort of positive affirmation on your coffee cup. While it seems to be devotionally inclined, it is quite nice to find people with a spiritual inclination and a love of God. I was looking for a local coffee shop as I like to avoid chain coffee shops. I found TGCO and I decided to drive over and give it a chance. The parking is shared with a few restaurants but there is plenty space for parking behind the building. As you walk into the restaurant, there is plenty of natural light inside the building and the decor is great! Regardless if you are a Christian or not, it is hard to deny that you feel at peace, calm or relax inside the building. The staff was great and they took the time to go over the menu and what they have to offer. In fact, I met the owner (Sarah) and she was great, kind and she clearly loves what she does. The coffee was very smooth and flavorful and made to order. I had to try the croissant because they looked delicious and they sure was. It was filled with chocolate ganache and they were flaky. I also got a cinnamon roll and OH. MY. GOSH. !. it was not overly sweet. It was made with love and you could tell. Overall, I can say that if you are in the area. Okay. Just found out that they use pre-sweetened matcha mix. That is something I try to avoid and the reason why I don't go to Starbucks to get my Matcha Latte. I spoke to them about this and they told me it's pre-sweetened with Stevia. It's at least 30 to 40 percent sweeter than anything I drink. Pretty disappointed. The Gathering Café is a local mom and pop shop that opened in March. Through the support of local residents, they were able to survive and thrive this year. They are known for their pastries especially their cinnamon rolls which are freshly prepared with love every morning before sunrise. If you enjoy a little sugar in your drink, The specialty beverages are delicious! I've had the honey lavender latte, vanilla lavender latte, and caramel macchiato with pumpkin as recommended by a friend. Their beverages will not disappoint! I love how the seating arrangements are a little spaced out from each other to give you a personal bubble despite wanting to maintain 6 feet apart from others.
