Since I have let my hair grow out for a bit longer than normal, the girl taking care of me had to use a trimmer to take some of the hair down. Which, was a good touch. Then, she took her time shaving my head. It was a pretty legit shave. I was dozing in and out with how relaxed I was. Talked tattoos, which, is always good. Then, I got my beard lined up. All in all, it was a very good experience. However, even after getting in the barber chair the proper way...I ended up stepping on the foot rest. I got chided. Besides not paying attention at the end and stepping off the rest, place was definitely a good spot. Oh, and, by the time I was leaving the shop definitely had a good few customers in it.

Getting comfortable with 1 person for so many years and having to go look for someone else made me nervous. Being new here, I took myself to google and just searched " Best Barbershops around me " and bang Elite Barber Lounge showed up. I was impressed by the reviews and pictures, so I decided to try them. After going there and giving it a try, I would say that this place has become my go-to place whenever I need a haircut. From the outside, the place looked abandoned with no pictures in sight, just the shop's name, and all-black tinted windows. When I went inside I was surprised as everything looked professional and high quality. While waiting for my turn, I started to look at the people getting their haircuts and my nerves just disappeared. Every haircut getting done looked like those pictures you find on google and are just impressed. From only looking around the place, the place looked like the one. My name gets called up so it's my turn to get a haircut. The Barber took his time and was even cracking jokes here and there. After he was done cutting my hair he passed me a mirror so I'm able to look at the haircut and I was just so happy and felt relieved. The crispiness of the fade and the lines were amazing. All in all, the experience was great, and I would rate it 5 stars. The service, the cleanliness, and the comfort this shop brings made it all a great experience. Every man values their hair or their beard and wants to be satisfied every time they leave the barbershop. I myself get a haircut every 2-3 weeks and always want to leave with the best service possible. There are many barber shops all around, everyone has their own opinion on which is the best. I decided to check out this new barber shop called Elevated Barber Studio located in Joliet. It was the best experience I've ever had and left the barbershop very satisfied. The barber shop looked amazing for just making its grand opening last year. The inside of the barber shop was phenomenal. The lighting was bright and stunning. Every barber had their own station that included a ring light, a large mirror and their storage container. The nice gray wood floors complimented the shop very well as the shop had a darkish gray tone. In the middle of the shop there were four black couches with three large tvs above them. This made me feel like I was at home, I was so comfortable while waiting to get my haircut. The shop looked very clean and organized compared to other shops I've been to. The service was excellent. This barber shop takes appointments and walk-ins. I made my appointment on an app called booksy which was very simple to use. On the app you select which barber you would like to book for your appointment. The barber then has a list of available times which you select to book with them. The barber then has to confirm your appointment and that's all to make your appointment. The service was amazing, right when I got there for my appointment I was immediately taken care of. Once I sat on that chair my barber started to work right away. I asked for a burst fade and got exactly what I wanted in the matter of only 40-45 minutes. The fade was as best as it could possibly get, giving me exactly what I wanted and expected. I left the barbershop feeling as confident and satisfied as I can be. Overall I have to give this barber shop 5 out of 5 stars. Everything was perfect from the looks of the shops to the actual service you receive. I highly recommend trying this barbershop if you're ever looking for a new place to get your haircut, you will be guaranteed the best service and quality you can get.
