What can I say about Becca? Saying that she is not only a phenomenal photographer but an amazing person as well isn't quite... enough. It just doesn't do her justice. I found Becca on instagram of all places. She had participated in a photo shoot at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle WA. The pictures were everything I wanted for my wedding photos - soft, sophisticated and romantic. I knew from looking at those pictures that this photographer had the talent and eye I was looking for. The photos literally looked like they were ripped out of a wedding magazine - the dream! I immediately reached out to see if she was available for our date. What I really loved about Becca was her dedication to communication. Whenever I had a question, I received a response from her within 24 hours. She reached out to me specifically to go over the day of timeline to ensure that photography-wise, the day would go smoothly. When she got pregnant the spring before our wedding, she contacted us immediately, informed us of her happy news and laid out her contingency plan if the worst was to happen, AKA, "if my doctor doesn't clear me to fly right before the wedding and I can no longer can attend". On the day of the wedding, she and her assistant were a rock stars. They were well organized and helped us get through a large amount of pictures quickly, keeping us on time and on track. Incredibly bubbly and upbeat, they kept our energy up for what was inevitably a long day of pictures. My husband is not someone who is comfortable in front of the camera AT ALL (which I explained to her in advance). Becca was wonderful, she kept everything light and made him feel completely at ease. He has never looked so handsome in pictures! I honestly don't want to tell you how fast she edited our photos and sent them to us because I don't want you to hold her to that standard....but I will say that we received them on our honeymoon! They are GORGEOUS. SERIOUSLY. I'm still getting compliments on them. People around us keep getting married and nobody's pictures compare to ours....is that horrible to say? Eh, it's the truth. I first met Becca when I was stage managing a show at the Bellingham Theatre Guild and Becca was acting. I have followed her work from the beginning and it was a no-brainer when I got engaged as to who the photographer would be. Having spent 3 years swooning over each new Facebook post and blog entry, I had no doubt that our pictures would turn out fantastic, even though neither of us are "model material." Becca is a natural people-person, who immediately made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. She was happy to incorporate our ideas and suggestions ("Let's have a picture of the girls with the swords!!") without judgement or criticism. The only picture I didn't get was one of us together, but since I plan on using her for any and all photo opportunities from here on, I can certainly find a time to make it happen! My fiance, Kristian, and I recently had the honor to do a photoshoot with Becca. Not only was this the first professional shoot of Kristian's life, but it was one of the most important. Wow where to start! to begin with becca is fabulous. We met her a year ago and immediately loved her and the vibe that she gave off, that we just had to book her. She was so fun and bubbly and made us feel so comfortable. In addition her prices were amazing compared to any other photographer we had seen. She shot our engagement photos at orcas island which she suggested and the pictures came out beautiful. We got them back within 2-3 weeks and loved every single one of them. Just recently she shot our wedding and made us feel like rockstars. Everyone in our family loved her and were so happy that we chose her to photograph our wedding. Becca was the photographer at our summer wedding this past August. She was above and beyond our expectations. She had very creative ideas and she was open to whatever ideas we had as well. We felt comfortable with the quality of service we were receiving right from our first meeting until we received the images after the wedding. When there are so many things to worry about the day of your wedding this is a big deal. Her second photographer and her work well together. They did not miss a moment! I usually feel pretty awkward taking photos, but she has the personality to put you at ease. She even taught me how to dip my bride! I can't say enough good things about Becca! From the moment I first communicated with her in my search for a photographer she was timely and professional. Becca did an amazing job on both our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures. Within five minutes of meeting her, we knew she was the person that we wanted to spend our wedding day with. Last nights Boudoir Photo shoot with B.Jones Photography was such an amazing experience.To be able to just let loose and have fun, was such a great confidence booster. Working with Becca was such a great experience. She is so professional and has an amazing eye for what looks great in pictures. She took family photos for us, even though she is primarily a wedding photographer, and I couldn't be happier with the images. Becca has done a couple sessions with my daughter and I, most recently my daughter's one year pictures. I am so incredibly please with the whole experience! I absolutely love Becca's style! She was more than happy to work with any ideas and props I wanted to incorporate. We were married on our 80-acre family farm, complete with vast fields, a beach, wooded areas, and a big party. Becca and her partner did an exceptional job of encompassing everything that our perfect venue and love story had to offer.
