As if my experience having my hair ruined wasn't bad enough, I had the displeasure of speaking with the operations manager on Saturday. After detailing my experience at the salon, Haley told me that "everyone makes mistakes " and that we should "forgive a first time mistake ". I guess she wasn't listening when I explained that Kensey admitted to doing this before. After I reiterated that this was not the first time Kensey botched color before, I asked for my money back. Haley told me that although it isn't their policy to refund, because I was "so rude", she would refund my money. While I appreciate the refund, I am appalled that the operations manager thinks it appropriate to argue with a client and to tell the client that she is rude. I went in to get highlights and a trim. I did not leave with them and I looked like Velma from Scooby. So I went back. Horrible mistake. She cut my hair so short. I went to visit my family in Florida and they were honest with me and said you got robbed of $200. The guys at work make fun of me and I've cried allot looking in the mirror. I experienced the head spa treatment and it was wonderful. They worked me in because I called the day of the treatment. It was so relaxing.

I was referred here by 2 coworkers and my hairdresser is out right now, so I decided to give it a try. My stylist was very friendly and I showed her a picture of what I wanted. She told me that was a good bit darker than what I currently had, and pulled up a picture that was slightly lighter and I agreed to that one. She did highlights and painted my roots. When the color was washed out and it was dried, the roots of my hair were spotted and multicolored with orange spots. It was nothing like what I had requested. She then put another color on my roots for 10 mins, washed that out and dried it. It didn't look great, but it looked ok and I had to return to work as I had already been in the salon for 5 hours. Once I got out into the light I could see that it was truly awful. It had an orange hue and was several different colors at the roots. When I threw my hair up in a ponytail to try and hide it for a football game that night, I realized my ponytail was purple. I skipped church and did not go anywhere else that weekend. I emailed the salon and asked for a refund, and they asked me to come give the stylist another chance. I said no, I did not intend to risk the health of my hair and was uncomfortable coming back. They then asked me to see another stylist (this is Wed. and I had already seen a stylist I know who corrected the issue) and refused to give me a refund even though I paid $185 total for this awful hair they gave me. I do not recommend this salon and will never be returning for any service. When you make this big a mess of someone's hair you should compensate them. I had to pay someone else to correct their mistake, which is unacceptable. read more

You have to see Lindsey! Hair, it's a process right. Started with dried, yellow hair and now have beautiful healthy blonde (sometimes silver) hair. I say sometimes silver because that's what I want sometimes ‍. Lindsey listened, explained the process and not only fixed the color but did the perfect cut to give my limp dull hair life! I still very much love my stylist, she does a great job. However I have since learned how their promotions work, stylists get points for selling products and performing services when they surpass a certain number of points they get promoted. Once they get promoted every service they perform is then increased in price so the clientele is essentially paying for the promotion and the prices are getting to be ridiculous. It's become a factory where one person washed my hair, one person cut my hair and 2 more junior people to the blow out while discussing their weekend plans. read more

Paige did an amazing job listening to two different opinions (moms and daughters, you know how it is) and then compiling a look that satisfied everyone while still adding her own flair. He nailed exactly what I asked for/described without any picture references, and he asked me multiple times throughout my cut if I was happy with the length. Love this and his attention to detail. It's not often I write bad reviews and I really try not to complain but I was disappointed with my hair and makeup appointment here. I scheduled a 4:45pm Saturday appointment, being advised that I could be out by 6pm. This was important knowing that I had a 7pm event. My half-up/half-down curled hair style took at least 3 attempts to get right. Sometimes I think I expect a little too much but I paid $40 (maybe $45) for hair and it just never seemed perfect. With time wearing down we had to move on to makeup... Overall, I think my full makeup application turned out...alright. I requested a few adjustments here and there but quickly became limited due to timing. What bothered me most was the appearance of my stylists hands but I won't get into detail. She also had to request assistance with mascara application. I don't think I left the salon until 6:30pm and was extremely anxious by that point knowing that I needed to be somewhere by 7pm. At first, I was super excited to have found such a nice salon in Macon and I think I did a good job of staying positive. Unfortunately, I constantly felt like my stylist was inexperienced. I hate saying this but after the initial curling of my hair, I just never felt at ease or in the hands of a capable stylist. There appeared to be several more experienced stylists at the salon, maybe you just have to request them. I wish you a better experience! read more

I am a naturally dirty blonde and keep my hair a cheery, bright ginger/strawberry blonde color. I recently moved to town and needed to find someone new to color my hair. I showed pictures to the stylist at this salon of my hair after it is freshly done and she went to mix the color. I don't know if it was that she was too busy downloading pictures of her wedding onto her phone while applying the color or whether she let the color process too long because she was too busy showing me pictures of her wedding to notice she had way over processed my hair, either way, it came out brown. Gross, ashy brown. Not even remotely close to the color I have had it for years and years. When she initially washed it out she noticed she messed up and tried to play it off - she definitely put some kind of color stripping agent in my hair and didn't really keep me informed of what had happened. The color is heinous. While she was distracted by her personal life, my hair is now dry, brown, and brittle - not sure it can even be corrected at this point. However, the studio was clean and most people seemed happy with their stylists. Mine was just too self-involved to notice anything besides her phone screen. read more
