He was professional and I explained what I wanted done and he invited me to have a seat in his chair. But this was no ordinary chair It looked like a throne. Needing a cut and color before my nephew's graduation party, I called and booked with an AI bot an appt for the day before the party. Just picked up messages from Salon True (a day before my appt AND a day before the party) that they need a 'CONSULT' before an actual appt & that another appt for the actual color & cut would need to be scheduled. What the actual _ _ _ _? That's just wrong. AI should be fired. SO disappointed.

My hair is just below shoulder length, and I only have a few gray hairs, so I usually color it to match my natural shade. They charged me for both a color and an "extra color", but I only got one color, so I'm not sure what the extra was for. On top of that, they added $50 just for a blowout. When I got home, I still noticed a few gray hairs that weren't covered, and I don't even have that many to begin with.

They were super standoffish and said if I was late, they could not accomodate me and I would be charged for no show. I was literally sitting in traffic on 95 behind a bad accident and nothing I could do. I asked if they could atleast let me reschedule and I was told no. 2nd time, I did an express tan and I had to call the spa to let them know, 4-5 hrs later, I had no color on me at all. I had to go back the next morning to get sprayed again. 3rd time was last week, the night before I was leaving for vacation and I asked for a dark spray. I woke up the next morning and barely had any color at all. I showed up at airport and first thing my family said "didn't you get sprayed yesterday"??!! I always feel rushed. I always feel as if they spend 2 total minutes spraying you and I can barely feel the mist. Employees are super nice. That's the only positive. Their prices have gone up and up over past year and its just not worth it anymore. Too many other options out there. I'm done.

I regularly visit Johanna for a cut and color and let me tell you, she is creates works of art with her color and cutting skills. Plus, when I am there I am out of her chair in approximately 90 minutes (give or take) and still have great quality results. When I leave High Toned Beauty Co. I consistently look and feel much better than I came in because of Johanna's attention to detail and ability to provide warm customer service.
