We were rummaging through the shelves and tables for dress shirts in the right size. None to be found. I asked a sales associate where the shirt size would be and she pointed to a small area. We checked each bin for shirts and again no size to be found. Like magic we were greeted by Vernelle G. and she inquired if we needed assistance in finding a size and that she would be able to check the back stock too. Wonderful! Vernelle is a sales professional and very helpful. There were no available size in the stock room but at least she checked. Vernelle was unstoppable and checked everywhere on the floor to find the right style and size we were looking for. Luckily the dress shirts were found. We really appreciated her assistance which made for a great shopping experience. Vernelle is not your ordinary SA she is the store manager. Thank you very much Vernelle!

I was able to find a Ralph Lauren cashmere-wool blend topcoat in my size for $150 (retail at a department store is $495). That's about $75 less than the best sale prices I found elsewhere. The next year, I saw Weatherproof (the same one Men's Wearhouse sells) topcoats for $99 on sale at one point compared to $149. Service was excellent. The sales reps in the many stores of theirs (both in Potomac mills, and the one in Fair Oaks Mall) took the time to help me out, measure my size to confirm (that passed my first customer service test since I already knew my size), explain to me their stocking procedure, and they went above and beyond to look for the right coat for me.

For two, at best, low end straw hats. $620.00 for comercially made, low grade straw hats? Not a chance in hell. What is sad about this place is that they gouge the crap out of prices on their fellow latinos who dont know any better or dont know there are much better stores that dont rob you. We left in a hurry, drove to WJ Colt Western Outfitters, where we were greeted with hospitality by the store owners, shown around the well laid out store, given some wonderful suggestions and assistance in trying on some hats and wound up buying two FELT hats, boot socks, and boot polish all for 250.00 and these were name brand hats! On top of that, they shaped them both right then and there for my wife, and did it with a smile. Night and Day compared to that other place. Which is great because I try not to "shop" at the same time as many others who have a 9-5 job. I woke a different schedule so later the store stays open the better for me. There is plenty of parking so no worries about where you are going to park. They have a array of clothing some high end brands at pretty good discounted prices and other clothing items ie shoes and purses are also available. At the tile I went I did not see any designer purses, but again I did come around 8-9 pm so most of those could have gotten sold. I did like the earring collection which was asking for some great prices. My collection is coming up just off of one visit to Gabes. They have a variety of snack type foods and other accessories, makeup items, workout gear/equipment, and miscellaneous things for the house. I would definitely come back but might try to venture out a little earlier to see if the selection is much better.

I have spent at least $150.00 this year at B-Thrifty when I visit my good friend in Woodbridge who I'm sure has spent 3 times that much there this year. After this awful experience there is no relevance to the question of the goods there. I was outright accused of stealing on my visit to B-Thrifty on November 10, 2012. A young foreign man named ABIYOT interrupted my shopping, asked me if I was gong to buy the purse he saw me with earlier. He then said, "maybe you put it in your purse". I couldn't believe this but he repeated it a number of times. I told him to call the police. When my girlfriend walked up she heard him and asked him if he was saying I was stealing? He repeated the same foolishness. She then rolled her cart (with the purse in question inside) up to the front to find the manager. She returned 10 minutes later, said the clerk reported to her that the manager was not in. I then found the man and asked him his name. He waved a hanger in front of my face and told me to get away from him. I then went to talk to the clerk. Now 30 minutes after this all began I was quite angry! Once I began to demand his name from the clerk she began to apologize. ABIYOT then appeared up front beside me and she told him he should also apologize. He said, "I already did". He was lying and I told him so. He said "you are lying". I said "Who are you Mitt Romney?" So I only got his first name. I felt severely undervalued as a customer there and my rights were infringed upon as well. I truly believe what I have read here about other customers who were being treated like thieves at B-Thrifty. Who are these people? Where do they come from? Upon reading the responses here from the B-Thrifty staff person, It seems that they need to learn the correct use of our language (Or employ those who do), as well as the LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA if they are to continue doing business here! read more

I've been there so many times, I thought this should be my first review I do for Yelp. I LOVE this thrift store, there is so much space to walk thru, no traffic jams, nothing. First time I went there I got so much clothes I thought I was gonna spend like 500 bucks, but it was only 100, minus the 30% discount on thursdays, AND the 5 dollars discount that I got from the flyer. It was a pretty good price for like 30+ items. And they were all so pretty. I was surprised to find them there. You really just gotta find them, they're not like RIGHT at your fingers tips, but if you got the time to shop, you'll really find some really useful and cute things. I also loved the Labor day 50% off discount, I went back just to get some jeans and they were pretty cheap! I'm probably gonna be regularly coming to see the days of discounts. I advice people to come here, it's a very friendly environment. The managers listen to their costumers every time they have a problem or a concern about something. And about the phone calls, people should understand the business JUST started, so they're probably having technical difficulties. If you're THAT desperate to reach somebody from B-thrifty. Might as well send an email, or drive here. It's worth the trip. Plus they're always open from early in the morning, so I don't know why people are tripping about "not knowing when it's open", it has deff. been announced at commercials and on flyers all around. But enough about that, I give this Thrift store a 4 star rate, JUST because the lights are always flickering, some parts are A LITTLE disorganized, and they didn't really decorate to make people who come there feel good ABOUT being there. I saw the poster saying the Grand Opening is August 20th. I do shop at other department stores but large thrift stores have some stuff I can't find elsewhere at ridiculously cheap prices. I had no clue until my friend took me to a thrift store once and I fell in love with treasure hunting. I've found couple pieces of nice jewelry at a thrift store and my friend was really surprised when I told her how much I paid for them. I'm looking forward to this new thrift store opening in Woodbridge. I think I should go and start "treasure hunting" since they are claiming that they will be the largest thrift store in the area. read more

It is one of the largest thrift stores I have ever encounter and it does have a HUGE selection of clothes however there are a lot of items that are priced too high or close to retail. Now on the other hand they do offer many discount days and occasional 50% off Sundays, which helps. The items are not always clean (such as toys) but the selection is huge and the people seem friendly so I gave it 4 stars. If you have kids there is a play area called the BeeHive that is great for them to burn off some energy! Good deals are to be found you just have to take the time to look! read more

Their welcome, willingness to help you search and assist you makes this shop unique. It's location makes it so easy to pop in for a quick look. Buying pre-owned goods at your local thrift store can yield you great bargains. For example: Why pay $75 or more for a new wool sweater, when you can find one like-new at Bthrifty for around six or seven bucks! Tip: Toss it in the dryer with Dryel before wearing. read more

I saw and tried some jewelry items in one of these cabinets but didn't find any to my liking. I enjoyed browsing the items and selected a dress & children books to buy. Proceeds from the store help fund the hospital's mission to provide world class healthcare. This store is like a boutique consignment store to purchase gently used to almost new items - moderate to high end luxury brands. The staff is one of the most professional and knowledgeable in customer etiquette and in organizational & pricing skills. They are very thorough in curating & displaying high quality items, researching the items displayed, and placing a fair price on items sold. Some of the items are priced at what may seem outrageously expensive yet it is not. Mint condition or well known high quality items are priced at 50% (most of the time) of their selling price online used or new ( at this thrift store's highest amount price). I found an elegant Mikasa bowl for $8 there that seemed over priced, yet it is selling for $60 online used and a discontinued style. If you want dirt cheap and super low prices, you are better off going to a yard sale, typical thrift store, gimme a five, or general dollar store for a bargain or steal if you want items at a low price. If you are looking to resell items for profit, I would NOT recommend this place as well. According to my experience, the most superb deals and low priced items sold here are usually low key high quality luxury brands and not desired or well known by the general public. Once in a blue moon, you will find rare and spectacular items at a stellar price; even though, you might not realize it until you research or know the item's worth. I have purchased a vintage Rolex brand leather - brand new wallet with fine detailed & metal engraved hardware for only $4 there. I just bought it because it was red, real leather, and well made. I also found a low key yet high quality British luxury brand - new leather - wallet for $3.75 there too. Retro style curvy wood bar chairs for $35 each - was one of my most desirable finds here. I couldn't find the exact chair online because it might be vintage or no longer manufactured. The closest duplicate to it was priced at $244 a chair and had an unattractive cut out design on the chair back. Their book selection is always amazing and always have a buy two books & get one free deal. I always find the best giant coffee table photography books there and fascinating books. Another rare yet wonderful find here is vintage vinyl records in mint condition for $1 each. It took me a long time to write a review for this store, because I didn't think it was like your usual thrift store. It seemed that most of the items I was drawn to were consignment boutique or antique store prices - not at my price range except for the books and certain items. I realized this thrift store excels in customer service and had a lot of hidden gems & high quality items in the end that people usually disregard.

I left with several gowns and sunglasses and a cute mermaid purse. My aunt left with jewelry, a Spider-Man sweatshirt, a purse and a couple winter scarves. It's self check out, and you cannot bring a cart outside . My aunt was excited for her fine in the experience and she will be bringing my uncle back with her the next time
