(I ditched the online tax platform after a couple of years of serious errors that resulted in underpayment, late fees and penalties for me. Ugh, never again!) To my delight, Nelson Cuoto personally called me to talk briefly about what they could do, taking care to managing expectations, and he provided a ballpark estimate. The accountant working on my tax return reached out with questions, looking for the most thorough understanding of my past tax history by combing through 16 years of tax returns. While I had my documents (mostly) in order, there were questions I was unable to answer, and he calculated the deductions and depreciation schedules. All of this was done before his work was reviewed, eventually having it all signed off by Nelson himself. I've rarely had such a smooth experience since I could no longer use the simple 1040-EZ form.
