I've finally quit the clinic, this place got me off methadone because between new staff rollovers, failed office requirements, and then it all rolls downhill and is taken out on the patients!! I legit have ptsd from this place, I've been so angry at the bull crap non compassionate, only look out for your self way to run a business like This... this location will drive you to DO DRUGS... this place has been an authoritarian nightmare after they let some new guy named Isaac who is a counselor basically treat patients like dirt, from the constantly rolled over staff to unfair treatment (some people get let in late and others get locked out 15 mins before!!! oh yah if your there on time before the close say 110 pm but for some reason they get busy in the office, or are ynderstaffed they WILL refuse to dose you after 130 stating the computer won't let them lol... total horse pickey... liars and un compassionately severely underpaid staff being asked to fly through hoops... counselors with 100 plus patients each when the joh description calls for 50-60 each so nope we aren't getting the counseling we need, in fact you can count on getting a new counselor here consistently because they don't give a frap enough to hire and train good people ?? Why would they thus is a cash business and meant to bulldoze your soul and make you feel guilty even more than you do for falling intro drugs... people have committed auicide over this place... rip read more

They used to be open only till one. Then they changed to: closed at 2...then 130...now 1:20. Why anyone's complaining, I don't know. People you've seen let in after the cut off HAVE COUNSELING APPOINTMENTS. But the dosing is closed window closed. People complaining about the hours but the staff, if they are off at 2, they want to be OFF. People wait to the last minute and the line be just the door! So how bout they let you in and when the clock bongs 2,get ready to RUN out the door-- whether youre in line or not? (Do YOU work after you're off for free??) But then there be fights and attitude if somebody who's dosing is taking a little bit longer or talking to the lady about something or waiting for take homes people in line will get attitude and start huffing and puffing. And many of these people, I'm one of them, are from the streets and people from the streets handle shit a little different than normies so they do this to prevent fights and chaos and to be able to get off at the time they're supposed to because people will be lagging motherfuckers procrastinating ass motherfuckers and that's the truth--you know how come I know? Cuz I'm one of them! They say when you don't like something about someone it's because you see it in your own self and don't like it about yourself, that's the only reason you even recognize it in someone else.. I started at that clinic 19 years ago I've gone to Richmond, I've gone to Concord (when it was open). Dr quismorio was my first and only doctor when I became pregnant and chose to stop chasing shadows in the streets. I'm happy to have a guaranteed well that doesn't make me nod off. One that can actually be reduced 1 mg at a time if I choose to. For a long time I was on a 1 mg per week taper and I didn't even feel it a bit. You can't do that with pills. My only complaint, and it's not even with them, is with the fact that I have to go every single day for one dose which is an exercise in tedium, but that's my own fault cuz I missed too many days or I wasn't clean. We don't even have to pay for the gas to and from because of the blessing of being able to get transportation now. Thanks to methadone I feel normal,and my pain from scoliosis, stenosis and rheumatoid arthritis is managed. And as for cities like Concord, who " didnt want 'THOSE kind of people'", that having a MMT clinic, (paid for by the medical insurance that the state brings)?---Well, when you don't give "THOSE" kind of people options? You get mailboxed. You get your car broken into. Get parts SAWED off your car! You get crime. So consider that next time you vote. And if you choose not to vote? I'm updating my review, when Covid-19 hit it affected everything including the clinic. Things are finally getting back to some normalcy. I've been a patient at BAART Antioch clinic for a very long time now and have been clean and sober for 22 years now thanks to the wonderful counselors and the compassion I've received from the nurses and other staff members. I have been very fortunate having counselors that helped me more than some therapists I've had in the past. I got my life back thanks to my counselors who worked with me and continue to help me maintain the life I've worked hard to have. read more

5 stars for the great employees there, although the clinic itself maybe understaffed, dr. Cortez and staff is awesome , shes constantly working hard to try and help everyone , which for the amount of people there that had got to be an overwhelming task. the counselers are great as well , Gabby the nurse is super cool and friendly, really hardworking. everyone there is awesome. The front desk remembers everyone's name by heart and makes you feel welcome.. 5 stars for sure...and the people who have bad things to say, I understand certain people don't get to have there way , and then get mad at the wrong people , or Show up with unrealistic expectations of what this should be, but I see first hand as I am a patient here , this place truly is a blessing and the staff is awesome ! Where to start with BAART. I've been going here for a few years and I've found that the nurses are amazing. Upper management seems to be in disarray, but the frontline soldiers, ie the nurses, hold this place together. Kitty Kat and Tee literally make my day whenever I go! The security is a JOKE. I came in to dose on 4/2/22 and a man pushed himself into the clinic becoming violent while he had a knife on him I dose with my two-year-old son and because the security guard couldn't do anything my boyfriend had to help remove this man from the building I now feel unsafe and scared while I am there. Something NEEDS TO BE DONE. I COULD HAVE BEEN STABBED or even worse my son could've been injured. My boyfriends hand was closed in the door during this altercation and his hand was swollen and bleeding and the clinic has done nothing to make this right. read more

This is nothing but a juice bar. They just give the addicts a different drug, offer no help, and bill the state. Used to be a fantastic program run by caring people. Merged with a Corporation out of Texas who assumed control, and they could care less for any patient. I wish the state if California would ioen their damn eyes. Look at how many hours if counseling this program did under the old Management...that is how much actual recovery did they offer the client, and how much services did they provide ...look at the numbers and how since the new company has taken over. I used to have to speak to my counselor once a week for an hour. I did this for 4byears and lived a very productive happy life. Under the new management my counselors caseloads has increased by 30%, his hours were cut by 15% and now he is frustrated because he has been told to just see every patient the minimum number of minutes required by the state. That is one time a month. That is not treatment. That's just the new leadership spending as little money as possible to make as much money off of just dosing me as possible, with ZERO regards to my recovery. They recently started giving it chips. The chips give a perception to people that this place is running some type of program...it's a lie. You get a chip if you dose 30 days in a row. You can test positive for drugs, not counsel at all, but as long as you show up and take the methadone so they get paid, they give you a chip. A DISGUSTING COMPANY WHO IS RAOING TJE STATE IF CALIFIRNIA FOR MONEY UNDER THE GUISE THEY AREN'T EATING PEOPLE WHEN THEY ARE DOING NOTHING BUT MAKING MIST ADDICTS WHO CONE TO THEM FOR HELP WORSE OFF THAN THEY WERE BEFORE. Decent service, however lacking in organization at the front desk, as well as communication between all sectors of the clinic. I give the nurses and counselors and just a few front desk girls an A+! My experiences have always been ok here but the way the past week has gone is insane. The Incompetency of the way my situation has been handled is astounding. Being someone who has followed the rules to a T I am schooled and disheartened. I have been going to the clinic for sometime now. And never once has any of the staff made me feel less of a person for choosing BARRT to help me with my pain management and addiction to pain meds. I was blessed to be set up with my first counselor who treated me like a person and you could see she really cared and wanted to help better her clients. But when she moved and left the clinic I was heartbroken and worried I would get a bad counselor. But was i wrong. I was placed with a new counselor Mrs.Sullivan who is beyond great. I was a client at BAART for 4 years of stress free compassionate methadone treatment. I've been a patient at 5 different clinics in California and now one in Missouri..and I've courtesy dosed at clinics across the country. I can say with sincerity that BAART in Antioch is top notch, especially when you consider the huge number of clients they have. You can walk in off the street and start dosing on the same day! You will receive compassionate treatment and never be treated like a 2nd class citizen. If you feel like you've been mistreated, you have the recourse of going to the clinic director who WILL give you a fair resolution. I wish I could say that about all the clinics I've encountered but, most of them are still in the dark ages. Yeah, the doctor is a bit of a dick but, that is the natural result of dealing with addicts every day. And for those folks who would complain about the cost, I'm paying twice as much in Missouri. In California, if you have Medi-Cal, methadone treatment is free...no such thing in MO. So, appreciate what you have available and get yourself out of Heroin Hell and to BAART where you can establish stability in your life and learn to enjoy being alive again. read more
