We went around 6:15 on a Wednesday evening. We noted that this restaurant is open 24/7, which is great for us as we sometimes end up eating late and a lot of restaurants are already closed. The music was really loud, but I am somewhat sensitive to loud noises. The lovely person who took our order was very soft spoken and it was hard to hear over the music, she had to repeat a lot for us. The restaurant is very clean with good lighting. There is good handicapped access. You order at the counter, then find a seat and wait for them to call your number, then pick up at the other end of the counter. The automated number caller was also very loud. I had the Topped Hummus with steak and a yogurt drink. There was a ton of hummus, and even more meat. I ate dinner that night and had enough for about five more meals. It was delicious. It came with one pita, which was good, thick and tender. The hummus was creamy with good flavor, and the meat was delicious. We shared a flatbread with cheese and olives, very good. My partner had a chicken shawarma meal. It was so good! Great flavors. Service was wonderful. Someone even came to our table to make sure we were enjoying our food and to ask if we needed anything else. Total with tip was about $50. read more

WOW their food is incredibly tasty. Most of the meals include fries and a drink in the price listed on the menu, and I felt the prices were very reasonable based on the quantity and freshness. Tried Baba Saj since my cousin and I enjoy Mediterranean food. This is the new hidden gem in the Blaine/ Spring Lake Park area. The service was great and they are open 24 hours for the drive thru. We had the steak shawarma plate and the hummus appetizer. They threw in two falafels for us to try also. The shawarma were great and very flavorful. I like that it came on a cutting board for a tray and it also has some pickled vegetables with it also. The hummus had just enough of spice and the whole chicken peas were something i liked, but my cousin was not a big fan. It is a very generous servings also. The falafel were also very good and not spicy. The seating area was very clean and not too loud. I was really excited to experience this place but was really let down by the service and the quality of food. Ordering was tough- the menu wasn't very clear and they were out of their signature rolls. We had to wait over 30 minutes for our food,, and we did get our food the chicken in our shawarma was extremely dry and without any flavor or sauce. Even after getting our food the didn't provide any sauce and when we asked for it they seemed to act as if I was stealing from them. They also forgot a part of my order and I had to ask 3 times until I got it almost an hour later. These might be hiccups related to newly opening, but regardless it was a bad experience. read more

Food was good not super amazing but good, service was pretty neutral not super inviting. I got food to dine in but had to wait almost an hour for it to come which I would be fine with if they let me get a box to go. After waiting a while I asked if they could switch my order to "to-go" instead of dine-in an one of the dudes said he can do that for me but it came out for dine in which I thought was okay because I can just ask for a box to go, the cashier girl who took my order said that dine-in is final and if I wanted to-go I should have said so when I ordered so I couldn't even get a box or a bag to carry my food to my car. I ended up eating what ever I couldn't stuff into the platter I ordered which luckily came with a box given it was full of food so I couldn't really pack much. Online menu doesn't match what I was given. Ordered the steak shwarma PLATE. When got home, I had a package of dry bland shredded steak, a bowl of pickles with a couple tomatoes. No rice, hummus or baba salad as listed on online menu. I called them and they told me to come back on and they would complete the order. When I arrived I was told that due to it being a "soft opening" the only listed item they could provide was the hummus but they would add some pita bread. After waiting over 10 minutes they gave me the hummus but no bread. Saying it was my fault for ordering incorrectly based on the Chicago menu! Sorry guys, the bag you packed my food in has a QR code that takes me to that menu! This failure is entirely on you. I will not be returning. For Minnesota this was decent spot to try out. I got the halal chicken shawarma plate should have stuck to the wrap instead as there was no point to cut up the wrap into 5 pieces and the steak plate on saj bread "thin bread". I don't think they should have opened a drive thru as they just open this restaurant. It is very busy as it is a new Halal spot in Minnesota, but the food tasted good, for me the best shawarma will forever be from Michigan. It is yummy to try and experience. But overall the spot is huge, there's a lot of seating but you might have to wait 10-15 minutes for your food along with claim your table once it opens up. Forgot to mention the fries were just fries. Garlic sauce wasn't too strong for my preference. This spot will thrive just has some things to adjust to get the restaurant to top tier.
