Absolutely the worst dining experience I've ever had. This place seriously needs a health inspection immediately. The employee serving us refused to accept card payments and acted very sketchy about the whole situation. The restaurant itself was filthy it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. The food prep and service areas were completely unsanitary. To make matters worse, the employee never changed gloves and was also handling food with bare hands. The food was being pulled from random buckets and foil containers, which made everything feel extremely unsafe. We ended up throwing our food away and leaving. Food is always delicious. Tried the shawarma plate to go this time and while the price seemed a bit steep, it was enough for at least two of us so we were pleasantly surprised. I'd add another pita next time and forgot to request pickles. We have enjoyed the shawarma wrap, gyros, and shawarma fries are our kids' favorites. Service is quick, friendly, and helpful. We have dined in several times (counter service style) but it seems to be mostly a to go place. Out of the chains in that area, I think it's an obvious choice to check out Aladdin Grill. The food was delicious and full of flavor - we got the mixed grill plate, chicken shawarma, and fresh hummus with pita and we loved every bite. The employee was nice and was cooking our food up fresh in front of us when we arrived, I would place your order ahead of time as they are truly making things fresh to order but we did not mind waiting at all. I'm going to go back to this place and give it another shot. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't my favorite. It's a very cute place. I don't get a Mediterranean vibe here though. The floors were clean. The tables were a little wobbly... no big deal.. the floor scrubber was sitting in the dining room just braced up against the wall. It was clean. There also was an old food cooler that looked like maybe it went out and now it's used for storage right by the entry door. Not sure what that's all about. Cute fireplace too. It would add a nice touch if it was working. Onto the food, They were out of gyro meat, this is why I'm going to come back. I had the shwarma chicken wrap. It was dry. They had Mediterranean pickles in it but it would have done well with some taziki sauce and some cheese. My girlfriend had the shawarma chicken Philly. The bun was great it was toasted. Cheesy goodness for sure! It was REALLY good. The fries were good and fresh. Not sure about the ketchup here... It looked really old and like it was left out for eternity. I was willing to risk it. The owner was very busy. We came around 6:00pm on a Wednesday night. There was us and another couple and that's it. It looked like there was a great deal of carry out orders being made up. This is a small place where you order the food at the counter and take it to your table when called. The cook (guess the owner too) doubles as the cashier (at least when I went there). He is very pleasant and helpful. We ordered a platter and fries on the side. The food was ok at the same time nothing was so tasty that I would go back for it. If I am around the place I would not mind stopping but will not be going back specifically for the place. read more

This is top notch middle eastern food! I stopped by on a whim because I didn't want to cook and this place will definitely be in my restaurant rotation. We ordered the mixed grill skewer plate and the chicken kabob plate and a side of falafel. First of all it smelled wonderful on my ride home.. when we got home and saw how huge the portions we were super excited to dig in. Fantastic flavoring on the rice, the spices on the meat were perfect, and the hummus and pita were incredible. We each have another serving for lunch tomorrow too. Service was fine nothing out of the ordinary. It seemed more popular for takeout than dining in. You definitely won't be disappointed with the food! read more

The lemon rice on the plate was delicious but very disappointed in the gyro meat. Tiny pieces and dry. Not the rich slices one expects to find on a gyro. Outstanding. My mom and I weren't originally going to come here, but after the universe pointed us to this restaurant by way of closing a ramen shop on a Tuesday, we ended up at Aladdin Grill. We were blown away. You see, We love Mediterranean food, and we've been eyeballing this place for a little while. We couldn't be happier that we ended up here. The two wonderful guys working tonight obviously picked up on that too. They were amazing, super friendly, and excellent hosts. My mom got the veggie plate to try a smattering of all of the appetizers, and wasn't disappointed in the slightest. She said the grape leaves was so good that she might kiss the man who made it. She didn't, thankfully, he was only 20 feet away after all, but that's just goes to show how good this food was. The falafel was my personal favorite, they were perfect! Crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked (and fresh!) on the inside. I had the combination plate with gyro meat and chicken. This plate made me rethink what I know about Mediterranean food. Where do I even start? The rice was done differently than I've seen it done at other places and it was outstanding. I've never tasted rice like theirs but I'm craving more. Notes of cinnamon and saffron, and other beautiful flavors make this rice easily my new favorite. The gyro meat was juicy and fresh, chicken was a bit cool when it got to me but still immensely flavorful and I hardly noticed because I was too busy stuffing my face with spanakopita and a gyro. The sauces are another fantastic talking point, they're all made in-house and taste excellent. The garlic sauce rivals my other favorite garlic sauce from Beirut Restaurant, it's amazing. One last thing, I just wanted to extend a special thank you to the man who was working the counter tonight, he noticed how much my mom and I enjoyed everything and offered us Egyptian Tea free of charge. This was the cherry on top of an already great dinner. It was beautifully fragrant and a perfect way to finish off the meal. He certainly didn't have to do that either, but he did, and I love him for it. 9.9/10 Please go to this restaurant and support them. The food is so incredibly good! Large portion for $17! I prefer the can/bottled drinks because you never know how well the employees/owner takes care of their machines. The food was tasty and loved that my meat had a nice crust and was served hot (ive been served cold gyro before). When you walk in you can tell it was an old caribou Not much for fancy decor but when your food is good who is staring at the walls. I am a hummus snob and have only found one in the area that I really love and today I found one that is really close to that one. Nice large helping of creamy hummus, good drizzle of olive oil and a black olive. I would love some pickle slices added to it but that is a personal choice. This came with 4 warm pita bread. We shared the chicken schwarma sandwich (made it spicy). Nice large sandwich with nice amounts of chicken, garlic sauce and pickles. This is sliced into small bite size chunks which made sharing easy. We also got an extra side of garlic sauce, because doesn't love extra garlic sauce. The fries that came with it were so good. Nice crunch! I would love those fries with some chicken schwarma, spicy sauce and garlic on top. The cook even came out and spoke to to us. Great service, great food. We will be back! read more

Excellent made from scratch food. I hope they do well I'm this location. We had the Chicken Shawarma with curry sauce and a veggie platter. Lots of things to try. All so Good! We ordered water but were charged for it. It was bottled water, but I was not given the option of tap. So that was just a tiny bit disappointing didn't notice it till later. Prices are a little bit higher than like Chipotle , but the food quality is worth it and friendly staff. A tip for the owner/manager -is when customers eat in, provide a nicer plate to eat on rather than a "to go" Styrofoam container. Just would have a nicer feel for eating in. read more

Literally the best Mediterranean food I have ever had. I got the lamb shank it came on a bed of rice with a side salad and hummus. Mohamed, who was behind the counter was the nicest guy I've ever met also hooked me up with the soup that the shank was cooked in and it was delicious the shank was fall off the bone tender and full of flavor! My girlfriend got the falafel plate came with the same sides and was also very delicious. I would recommend this place to everyone and give it a 10/5 stars for service and quality of food!
